A Digital Field would emerge inside the abandoned warehouse. It seemed to be the perfect place for a Digimon to bio-emerge from the Digital World. It would give this Digimon ample time to develop where she most likely wouldn't be noticed by those humans. The Digimon herself was quite large, a giant Dragon at that. She had plenty of glowing red eyes, and crimson red claws. Her body was sleek and black with an enormous and somewhat bulky tail. She stood in wait for her body to finish materializing.
"ROOOOAR!" She cried out loudly as she waited for the Digital Field to obliterate. While right now she was confined, she couldn't wait until she got free. She'd have to celebrate by devouring some children. As a matter of fact, even through this cloud, she could smell them right now.

Kazu had been asleep in his bed when the oddest thing happened. His D-Arc began to make the same noise that usually happened when a Digimon manifested in the real world. He wasn't sure if he should go check it out or not at first, but his natural curiosity got the better of him as he got dressed, grabbed a few cards, and headed out the front door. His hope was that it was Guardromon coming back to him, but Kazu did not know for sure what was going on. The D-Arc directed him toward the warehouses that people stored certain belongings when they were moving. "I guess this is what people call the moment of truth."
With a feeling of anticipation mixed with fear, Kazu opened the door to the warehouse to find a Digital Field, which he of course ran into without thinking about what was in there. When he first saw the Digimon that had just crossed through, Kazu could think of one thing to say. "Maybe I should have brought a nail file to combat you." Yes, it was a lame joke, but he was out of practice so anyone listening could cut him some slack about it. His Digivice decided that it was the appropriate time to chime in with some data about the Digimon he was facing, which did not make him feel all that confident about facing it.
The cards that he brought with him weighed heavily in his pocket as he thought about what he was going to do. He pulled them out and looked at them and then back at the Digimon. "Well things just couldn't get any worse, can they? Guess I had better do something to slow this thing down." Kazu began looking around for something to use as a weapon or something against Devidramon, who would probably swat him like a fly. All he could find was a broom, which just made him laugh a little inside. "Alright Devidramon. I, Kazu, am going to sweep you back into the Digital World." His jokes were getting lamer as the moments passed by.

This, was not a place Yori would normally find herself in. In fact, she actually had no idea how she got here to begin with. Yori had been out with her friends, Yura had talked about a new sweet shop she wanted to try…and while they were looking for it Yori managed to get lost from the group. She didn’t know this part of town…so the young teen was wandering, rather nervously. She was still in her school uniform, which really didn’t make her feel any better.
Yori clutched her bag, she was still carrying around her deck of digimon cards. She didn’t play much these days, but she always kept them around just incase she spotted a group of kids playing, part of her simply couldn’t resist the urge. Yori took a deep breath, and pulled out her cell phone. She frowned, she could have sworn she had charged it. Then, she suddenly remembered….last night Mei kept bugging her asking if she could play games on her phone. Yori had been studying for a big test she had today so she told her to go ahead and do it to get her to shut up. “Aaah! Mei ran down the battery!” said Yori to herself as she dropped it back in her bag and grumbled.
She decided she should look around for someone, maybe someone who knew the area could help her find her way back home. Turning her head to look, she suddenly saw a boy about her age walking into an old warehouse, what could he be doing in there? Curious…Yori contemplated following him…and after deciding that there was no one else around to ask, she might as well as him. He didn’t look too bad anyways.
Moving to open the door to the warehouse, she called out “H…hello? I was wondering if…Aaaah!!” screamed Yori as she nearly fell over, eyes opened wide as she stared at the digimon, working its way into the real world. “Oh my…..wh…what the..what on earth is THAT!>” It…looked like a devidramon but it couldn’t be! Could it?

Devidramon turned to face the humans that she had smelled not so long ago. It appeared that wanted to be eaten early. That was no problem for Devidramon. She simply licked her lips in anticipation. How often was it that food bame right before you on a silver platter? The answer was not very often to put it simply. There was only one thing bothering her. She had heard that children in the human world had Digimon... and on these two, she saw nothing. In any case, she wouldn't bother herself thinking about that too long. It was way past dinner time.
"Time for you to die." She said as she focused her gaze on Kazu. She didn't even acknowledge his words to her for now. She was much too preoccupied by his delicious scent as dinner time approached. She raised her hand above him, and then brought her hand down with a crash in an attempt to smash him. If he didn't do something soon, or to dodge it, he would quite possibly end up dead, but that was what Devidramon was aiming for.

Kazu watched the Devidramon as it studied him, and he began to wonder what he was doing. A broom versus a Digimon who had sharp claws wasn't the brightest idea he could have come up with it, but it got even worse when a girl popped out from behind him to ask him a question only to become confused by what she was seeing. "Oh, this is so what I don't need at the moment." Now Kazu had to worry about protecting the girl as well as himself, which was not going to be an easy task as she appeared to be dead weight in this situation.
The words that Devidramon spoke brought Kazu's attention back to the main problem here. The Digimon was bringing down its hand upon them hard and fast, so Kazu did the only thing that he could think of. He broke the broom in half, threw the pieces like darts at the Digimon and jumped out of the way of the impact. "Hey girl. Now would be the best time to get out of the way or else you are going to become mince meat." Now, Kazu was left without a weapon and in a room with a Champion Level Digimon who appeared to be hungry.
What was he supposed to do in this type of situation? The only thing that any person who was crazy enough to be caught in something like this. He needed to cause a distraction of some kind. "So this is all I get from a black salamander with wings? I would feel more threatened by Chuumon." It was the best insult he could think of to keep Devidramon's attention on him instead of the girl. Now all he had to do was make sure that he didn't get creamed by this guy. "Where's Guardromon when you need him?" he whispered to himself.

Naturally she was scared. Who WOULDN’T be in a situation like that? At least by the standards of a regular kid who wasn’t use to the digital world anyways. Yori stood there, paralyzed with fear for a few moments before she was snapped awake by the boy shouting. She screamed and ran to hide behind a box, and then began to shuffle through her bag. Something..something…ah! She pulled out a mirror compact, and looked at the light shining in through the windows…perfect. She quickly moved so that she was standing in the light, and began to twist her mirror in a way to try and shine the light in the monster’s face.
It was then that she had a realization. That boy spoke of Chuumon, a digimon…and this looked like a devidramon…but it couldn’t be! “Hey….” said Yori to the strange boy. “You…you mentioned a digimon…and I recognize this one from my cards but…why…how…how is a digimon here? Is this some sort of trick?” okay, that sounded silly but, so did the idea of a digimon actually materializing in the real world! They were just games and cartoons! They weren’t REAL! Right? Yori knew her mirror compact wouldn’t do much, she would need something else, but what else could she do? Throw her text books at it?

Devidramon wasn't actually upset that Kazu had dodged her attack. It seemed as though he was pretty flexible, and that was good. It would have been no fun if he went down on the first blow. Besides, she needed to wait for this Digifog to go away so that she could escape the Digital Field. At the very least, toying with this boy would allow her to waste some time. It didn't take long for Digital Fields to perish, but it would most likely take some amount of hours from what she had heard.
"ARRRRGH!" What thoguhts she was having were interrupted as a bright light was shined in front of her face. She HATED light! She was a creature of the darkness, so the lights not only burned her eyes, but her entire body as well. Quickly, she turned her body around and began to thrash her tail about aimlessly in hopes of crushing the girl who had the light. Even though she couldn't see her at all, Devidramon's tail would come crashing down just a meter next to the girl as where it would have smashed her if she had been any closer.
"Damn you Phumons!"

Kazu watched as the girl blinded Devidramon with a mirror, which had some good things to it and bad things to. The good being that the Digimon was now unable to see them. The bad being that the Digimon was striking out at random to find the girl, which proved to be even more dangerous in a confined space. Kazu watched as the tail impacted with the ground. "What the heck is a Phumon and what does it got to do with this?" Maybe Devidramon was trying to say humans and just couldn't speak do to the light. Kazu didn't really know, and he didn't really care at this point.
He was going to congratulate the girl on her strategy of weakening the Digimon until she started asking him about whether or not this situation was a joke or something. "I think now is not the best time to get into an in depth conversation about whether or not you are crazy, so I am just going to give you the cliff notes version." He took a deep breath and wondered whether or not he should be blabbing about this. Then he remembered that Takato had told Kenta, him and a bunch of other kids about Digimon which had inadvertently led to Kazu getting Guardromon as a partner, so he figured that nothing bad could really happen.
"Yes, Digimon are real ,and they used to pop up in the real world to cause us trouble. It stopped happening a couple of years ago, but apparently they decided that it was time to try again. The only real difference between a couple of years ago and now is that I don't have my partner here to protect us from the whining Devidramon that you have injured, so methinks it is time to come up with a plan." Kazu was moving behind a large crate in the search of something he could use to hit Devidramon in the face with, which was not really going so well as he was on the side of the warehouse where they locked up the containers with padlocks.

Yes! She hit it! Yori grinned, but it was short lived as the creature began to swing its tail at her. Yori cried out as she was thrown by the impact from the tail hitting the ground next to her. She winced and quickly scrambled to her feet. She held her arm for a moment, she had landed on it but it should be fine. Taking shelter once more, she listened to the boy talk, taking in what he was saying. So it really was a digimon then… “ So…those monsters from two years ago…were those digimon?” she asked as she began going through her bag once more. She found some pepper spray, she carried it around for protection, but contemplating it, Yori wasn’t so sure pepper spray would be all that useful against a digimon like that….they needed some kind of miracle to make it out! Pulling out her card deck…Yori knew she didn’t have the time to waste, but heaving a sigh, if this was a card game, then she would have been armed. “ This is so unreal..” she muttered as she stood up once more. Putting the cards away, she wasn’t quite sure what she could do….she had in her hand a crobar she had found on the floor…but even that she didn’t think would have much effect…something…they had to do something… “TINY TWISTER!” came a voice as a little tornado came out from the rift the devidramon escaped through, moving to ram itself into the larger digimon. Whether it hit or not, right after it came flying down, landing right in front of Yori. “Owe, that hurt…” a little voice cried out, as Yori stared in shock at the little brown and blue digimon standing before her. A… “ L…lopmon!” Yori she said shocked as she stared at the little digimon. But…the coloring was wrong. Yori had a lopmon in her deck but, it had pink ears. Not blue! The little digimon held out her arms, and her ears to shield Yuri, even though she wasn’t all that tall…. “Stand back!” she said as she took a step forward. “That’s enough devidramon! Go back now!” she shouted as she took a fighting stance against the digimon. Lopmon had seen Devidramon sneak through the rift, and had followed, figuring she would cause trouble.

The tiny twister had seemingly come from no where and smacked Devidramon on the side of the face. The knick caused very little damage to Devidramon, but it was more than enough to annoy her quite a bit. She turned around to face the Lopmon, and now the Yayoi and Kazu. She could feel her anger boiling up. She wanted to destroy them right here and now, but even still, she didn't mind the idea of toying with them a bit.
"How nice of you to join us, Lopmon," Devidramon said to greet the Lopmon quite respectfully. "And you Phumons... I am going to eat you!"
Wasting no time, Devidramon launched her snout down toward the male human with the intention of devouring him. He was going to be delicious, and she was going to enjoy every morsel of his being.
