Episode 5: Gears Ahoy!!

[LadyDevimon]

"So.... You really don't know anything... If you do not know anything about Calumon, then you are of no use to me or my Master."

LadyDevimon continued to squeeze the poor Lopmon in her hands. She no longer needed to hold anything back. There was no more information she could get out from the two of them if they truly knew nothing. In either case, she knew Calumon was somewhere nearby. That was why her master had made her bioemerge in this location. It was for the soul purpose of catching Calumon. She'd get him even without their help.

LadyDevimon snickered as she looked at the Lopmon who was struggling in her hands. In a second or two, she was going to crush all of the air out of Lopmon, and the rookie level Digimon would die. That was what she wanted though. She wanted to slowly crush the small Digimon in her hands. She would kill it here and now.

"This... is the end!"

[Calumon]

"Oh no! They're being hurt!"

All of this time, Calumon had been here, just as LadyDevimon had thought. He had done his best to stay out of the way, and more importantly, make sure that he didn't get close to the big bad Digimon. She seemed scary. She's the scariest lady I've ever seen! Calumon thought as he shivered behind one of the crates.

Oh no! Lopmon! She's gonna die! Calumon thought in fear. He couldn't help other than to take favor to the Digimon who was trying so hard to protect her Human friend... and then there was Kazu. Kazu was his friend.

"PLEASE DON'T DIE!" Calumon shouted out loud. At that very second, the catalyst on his forehead shined through the whole room. Both Guardromon and Lopmon would shine in the light that they were being bathed in. Maybe poor little Calumon couldn't do much to help, but even unintentionally, he was doing all that he could!... and with Calumon's gift, the gift of Digivolution, both Guadromon and Lopmon would be able to go to the next level.

[Stick]

Kazu could do nothing but watch as Guardromon's attacks did nothing to stop LadyDevimon from hurting Lopmon. This fight appeared to be over for them, so he figured that telling Yayoi what was so special about Calumon was not important any longer. He reached into his pocket to see if he had any cards left to find that the only thing there was that fake blue card he made two years ago for Takato. Oh how I wish I had a real one of these babies right now. Unfortunately, wishing only got a person so far as believing that it was possible to do something.

The appearance of Calumon caught his attention as the little creature had yelled something followed by the catalyst thing on his forehead emitting light into the room. Kazu knew what was happening now, and he was going to enjoy. "Guardromon, its upgrade time." Guardromon began to emit the same light as a new surge of power rushed into him thanks to Calumon.

"Guardromon digivolve too!"

His body began to become more compact as he became more humanoid in design. He actually had a mouth now, which would make understanding him a little easier for some. Although, he was not going to be able to show emotions any better.



"Andromon."

The Ultimate level Digimon began using his automatic tracking systems to lock on to LadyDevimon before his chest plate opened. "GATLING ATTACK" Two missiles shot out of his chest that had already locked on to LadyDevimon, which meant that the only way to stop them was to destroy them. It also meant that Lopmon would be safe as she was considered an ally. The two missiles started firing at her with the mini-machine guns each one had with precise aim. Yet again, Kazu's worries were washed away thanks to some lucky turn of events. "Thanks Calumon for the assist. Now we should be able to tackle this screeching sounding she-devil."

[Yayoi Shikohojo]

Lopmon could feel her energy draining as ladydevimon continued to squeeze her. Yori hated feeling so weak, she had to do something help her digimon! Quickly shuffling through her cards, she found just what she needed! Her teleport card hadn’t burned! But before its use was required, a digimon she didn’t recognize appeared and began to glow. It was then that Lopmon began to glow herself. “Lopmon! Digivolve to! …” she called out as the little brown and blue bunny vanished, as her body began to change. Her short limbs began longer, her ears more pointed and rabit like, her brown fur began to lighten to pink, and her blue spread out. It was finished off with a mask over her face and soon the little lopmon was gone, and in her place was a beautiful pink and blue rabbit. “Lekismon!”

With her new found strength, Lekismon managed to break free from Ladydevimon’s grip as she took a fighting pose against her. “Thank you.” she said to calumon before turning back to Ladydevimon. Now that she had digivolved to her champion form, and guardomon to his, they really stood a chance at winning! “Moon Night Bomb!” Quickly, Lekismon rushed in and flung her arm, creating a bubble which was thrown at Ladydevimon. Should it hit, it might cause her to fall asleep.

[LadyDevimon]

"Damn Human!" LadyDevimon cried out. After all of this, she had finally spotted Calumon, but it seemed that the humans were still going to try to get in her way and stop her from capturing her prey. It was definitely annoying, not to mention the Guardromon had now digivolved into Andromon. That was the worst of it. He was at the same level as she was, though at the very least, she knew he still was not at her power level. But combined with Lekismon, they could still prove to be a threat.

Seeing that their attacks were coming upon her, LadyDevimon knew she'd have to do something, and quickly, in order to protect herself. If she didn't, digivolving would have done her no good and she would have digivolved just to die. She couldn't allow that to happen. She quickly raised both of her hands and held her palms out toward both of her two offending Digimon.

"Poison!" She cried out the name of her attack. AS she did this, both of their attacks would most likely backfire on them simultaneously. Andromon's bombs would explode in his face, and Lekismon, would hopefully be put to sleep.

"Well, humans... It was nice playing with you, but we'll have to pick this up later. I have an appointment elsewhere that I must be going to." She said as she crossed her arms and levitated up to the ceiling.

[Stick]

Andromon was momentarily blinded because of his bombs exploding in his face, but that didn't stop him from trying to stop the evil Digimon from escaping. He was sure that Kazu would want to know what this other business was, which was why he was going to attack. "LIGHTNING BLADE." His right hand began to spin as electricity began to form around it. Andromon then flung it at the fleeing LadyDevimon.

Kazu had been watching the fight, and knew that LadyDevimon was still stronger than Andromon. He had been hoping that an Ultimate plus a Champion would be enough to take her, but it was not so. "What do you mean by an appointment? You just got here, so it isn't like you already no someone who is here." He had a feeling that this was going to end as a 'to be continued' fight, but if Andromon's last attack could hit her then maybe they would have a chance.

[Yayoi Shikohojo]

Lekismon felt the hit from her bubble, as she began to fall asleep. "Lekismon!" cried out Yori as she ran to the aid of her digimon. As lekismon slept, she began to glow as she reverted back to being lopmon. Yori knelt down and picked her up, holding lopmon in her arms. Standing up, Yori turned to Kazu. She had so many questions, but she didn't say anything. What was she suppose to say? Looking up, she watched as Ladydevimon began to vanish, running away. Lopmon had digivolved, but it hadn't been enough. "Maybe if I had been better...she would have been able to win.." muttered Yori softly. She was a new tamer, she was inexperienced. No matter how much she had played the card game as a child, it still wasn't any help..

Moving over to Kazu, she pulled a card out of her bag and handed it to him. "Here is your card back. Thank you for letting me use it." she said to him as she looked at her sleeping lopmon. "This is...so unreal..."

[LadyDevimon]

"Stupid humans! And Stuipd Digimon!"

LadyDevimon watched down below as the Lekismon fell asleep and reverted back into Lopmon. So it seemed that Digimon was down for the count. Good. But there was still one more to deal with, and that one probably wouldn't be easy to deal with. As the Digimon aimed a lightning blade at her, she quickly ascended up higher to get out of its reach and effectively evade the attack. She then raised her hand to the ceiling.

"Crimson Nail!" She cried out as she slashed the rooftop, effectively tearing a hole in the ceiling. She looked down, now hearing the human, Kazu, speak to her. "It's none of your business, human... but this only shows you ignorant you truly are... I bid thee, farewell," LadyDevimon finally said before quickly escaping through the hole she had created.

[Stick]

Kazu watched as LadyDevimon dodged Andromon's attack, make a retort, and disappear out the roof. He was disappointed at not learning anything more from her other than the fact that she was here on some sort of business that involved Calumon. It was something he was going to have to bring up the next time he saw some of the others. At least Kazu knew that there little group was going to reunite for one more big adventure.

Yayoi had said something and was holding up the card that he had lent her earlier. He took it from her and slipped it back into his pocket. "Don't worry about how the fight turned out. You handled yourself as well as anyone could being new to the situation if not better. Besides, LadyDevimon was obvious far stronger than either of us knew, so the fact that we are able to walk away is a victory in itself." Kazu would be ready for the evil witch the next time they met though, so she had better watch out for him.

Andromon walked over to the two tamers and de-digivolved back to rookie when he reached them as he was extremely tired from the fight. Two digivolution plus taking multiple hits had done its toll, so he was ready for a long rest. "Is it nap time yet?" Kazu didn't think that now was the time to sleep, but it would be soon. He just wanted to make sure that LadyDevimon wasn't going to come back for Calumon.

[Yayoi Shikohojo]

“I suppose so but maybe if I had been more experienced, like you, we could have stopped her.” she said as she hugged her lopmon. Lopmon then yawned and stretched as she began to wake up. “Hmmm? What happened? Did we win?” she asked as her ears perked up and she looked around. She didn’t see ladydevimon anymore, did they stop her? Yori smiled and hugged lopmon once more before she put her down. “Thank you lopmon, for helping us.” said Yori as she smiled at her new partner. “No problem! We can’t let her and others like her get away with this! And…” she said turning to face Kazu. “You seem to know this digimon, are you one of those tamers from a few years back I heard about?” she asked him curiously.

“In anycase, we need to keep an eye out for her. She’s going to come back, and we can’t let her get calumon.” said Lopmon as she closed her eyes for a moment before turning back to Yori. “It seems we are partners now.” she said with a smile as she held out her hand to Yori. “Let’s do our best! Yori!” she said with a smile. Yori smiled back at her and knelt down to shake lopmon’s hand. “Yes, let’s do our best, lopmon.” she said before she stood back up. Lopmon took the opportunity to jump up, settling on Yori’s back as her ear hands held onto Yori. “So…what do we do now?” Yori asked Kazu.
