Yori wasn’t a big sweet eater, but her friends liked them and it was fun to sit there and talk while enjoying a cupcake and a cup of tea. “Ah, so this digivice is a D-Arc?” asked Yori as she pulled hers out and stared at it, still in a bit a of a ‘disbelief’ stage. This had all come on so suddenly…part of her expected to wake up tomorrow and find out nothing had happened…but then there was the part that wanted it to be real. For Loli to stay with her.
“Hmm…well I hope that if we run into Lady Devimon again that we will be more prepared to take her on.” Hopefully by then Yori would have some new cards, and Loli would be stronger, and they would have some new tactics thought out so that they can make a better team to fight against her. “Well I am glad you got your partner back! So how come you guy’s were separated in the first place? I mean, why did he leave?”

Kazu had actually hoped that Yayoi wouldn't ask that particular question as it brought up some feelings that he had long since forgot, but it had happened and he really couldn't do anything to change it. The only routes left to him in this conversation was to tell the truth or make up some ridiculous lie that would keep the young girl in the dark about what his friends and him had to go through a couple of years ago. Kazu looked at the girl, then at her digimon, then at Hagurumon, and finally back at her before making his decision to tell her the truth about it.
"In the course of fighting the D-Reaper, the creators of the Digimon had to modify this program that usually destroys the Digimon in order to wipe out the D-Reaper. The only problem was that it also made our partners unstable, and therefore they had to go back to the Digital World immediately. It left a lot of us heartbroken because we felt like a piece of us was going away forever, but it is all good now because they are coming back." Kazu just hoped it would be for a more permanent stay as he couldn't take losing his best friend again. |

Naturally Yori didn’t know it was a touchy subject. To her it was an honest question. And Kazu was nice about it, and even gave her an answer. “Oh wow…I hope..that doesn’t happen again…” said Yori as she turned her head a bit to glance at Loli who was sleeping while hanging on her shoulder. That lopmon had quite the grip to hang on while sleeping! “I would hate to think of Loli going away so suddenly like that…but I am glad you got Hagurumon back! It would have been really sad if you two were never reunited!” said Yori with a smile.
“Though if they are back now…then what does that mean? Will that..D-Reaper return now to?” asked Yori as she tried to take in every bit of information. The more she knew the better, she needed to be prepared to whatever might come..

Kazu knew that anyone who had a Digimon partner would not want a similar experience to happen to them, and if he could do anything to prevent it then he would guarantee that it did not happen again. There was no way that he was going to let someone else take away the Digimon from them. "Don't worry. Nothing is going to happen that will take away the Digimon from us. I won't allow it." This was going to be the way life was going to work, or else Kazu was going to fight the Hands of Fate to a stand still.
"No. The D-Reaper was completely destroyed two years ago by the combination of humans and Digimon. If it were coming back, then I am pretty sure that the Digimon would not be here right now. This is definitely something new that we are dealing with." Kazu just hoped that what he had said was true as he didn't think that Henry's dad was going to pull another rabbit out of his hat in order to make the boogeyman go away this time.
Hagurumon was the first to turn the corner and see the road. He started to spin around in a circle like a beagle did when it had found it's master's target on the ground. Kazu smiled at how weird his partner could be sometimes. "Well I guess this is where we separate. I hope to see you around Yayoi." Kazu and Hagurumon headed off in the direction of his house to probably find that his parents were angry at the fact that he had left without any note about his whereabouts. |

“Oh well I sure hope not!” said Yori as Kazu assured her that nothing like the D-Reaper and the digimon being sucked back into the digital world. The thought itself made Yori feel a bit sad, she may have only just met Loli, but she already didn’t want to lose her… “Well…then let’s just hope that whatever caused the portal to open again isn’t bad and that it’s just a bit of luck!” said Yori as she smiled at Kazu, but she knew that was likely wrong. They already met a bad, strong digimon…so chances were there were other strong, evil digimon already out there. Damn.
When they made it to the road, Yori turned to Kazu and smiled at him. “Thank you for helping me back there, and thank you for helping me find the road. I hope we get to meet again sometime Kazu.” said Yori as she held out her hand to shake his, before turning to head home. Well that was an interesting experience…hopefully next time there is an enemy, the two of them will be more prepared to take it on. Now for the hard part…getting loli in her room unnoticed…
