I'll tell you what. I'll not only find a new mythical animal, with proof that it exists, how I about I find Nessie for you also. We can run a special that they are getting married. And to make it a special issue, why don't I find you a school of wizardry! Then you can have an interview with Harry Potter himself! I shouldn't have said that...
Vincent was reflecting on what he had yelled at his boss. He was relieved that he was no long on 'stalker duty'. However, there was a price to pay. He was asked to find a mythological creature. His boss doubted any exists, just wanting his British journalist to make something to draw readers in. VIncent was insulted by the request; but guessing he isn't going to get in trouble as Kyon knew he would do the assignment anyways.
He tried earlier to question people on 'weird occurrences', in hopes of something workable. The stories either sound like they are from drunk people or would require too much effort and funds to pull off. Well if anything, now I have an idea for 4 monster movies...
The Briton was heading to the shrine. He wasn't spiritual, just proved to be a relaxing place. Relaxing when it isn't filled with tourists as they ruin it with their technology and yammering how the place was either neat or boring. It must've been the report that it was going to rain. It was cloudy, but no drops have fallen. If only rain scared The Shine away. There were no signs of anyone around, hoping it'll stay that way when he reaches the shrine.

Up ahead, within the shrine, a boy was hanging out with what one would most likely consider an 'odd occurrence' or at least, what most people would see as one. Talking bipedal cats wern't exactly an everyday thing in these parts of the woods. Leo sighed and looked up at the sky. Again, he had simply been wandering the town for no particular reason, an act that seemed to be getting on Gazimon's nerves.
"Kid... I still say you should look for her." The digimon commented, looking over at his partner.
"Nah... she probably moved far away or something..." The human responded, still aimlessly looking into the sky.
"Kid, theres an entire virtual universe that exists within all those social networking sites you humans made. You could be on the opposite side of the globe, and still contact her." The digimon said "You know what I think? You seem to be running from what will make you happy."
"Im fine Gazimon." The human replied.
"No you arn't!" The digimon shot back "Geez... you know, you have wrapped your mind up with this idea that people are gonna reject you because of your money. Not everyone is like that kid. It dosn't even have ta be the girl! It could be anybody. I just get so annoyed seeing that all you ever do is wander aimlessly from place to place and just hang out, seemingly doing nothing! You have to have done quite a bit of contemplation in that head of yours!"
"..." Leo didn't respond, seeming deep in thought as he looked up at the clouds. The digimon was right. This isn't how a normal teenager spent their time. But how would he be able to live any way else? He sighed to himself. "...Its getting cloudy. I think we should return home...."
Gazimon sighed, and nodded to his partner, deciding that it was useless to argue with him, before his ears twitched, hearing something nearby...

Oh great... People are there... The Briton sighs, not wanting to deal with anyone today. It sounded like a bunch of teenagers, Readers of The Shine, I bet... He went on anyways. able to hear something interesting. ...exists within all those social networking sites you humans made. You could... "You humans?" Who the hell speaks like that?
It was then that the man bothered to see who's in front of him. He was half right, one was a teenager. The other was something furry and standing up right. You've got to be kidding me... He started for a couple seconds, before pulling out his camera. He always brought it with him, even when he wasn't in the middle of an assignment. As he never knew when something interesting pops up, as if to say, Take a picture of me! Though it was in pieces, he was able to have it in working order in 10 seconds.
Being a sniper, he aims at Gamimon's head. When there was a perfect shot, he took it. It wasn't the only one. Vincent quickly took different shots of close-ups and distances, to show the mysterious creature and the human, it made contact with. Though he was quiet, someone with acute hearing would be able to hear the moving parts of the camera. Along with the man clearing his throat and moving a bit to get better angles. There was enough light, so he wouldn't be using the flash. However, if they were to look for him, they would be able to notice the black coat wearing man, hiding behind a trash can.

Gazimon glanced off in the direction of the photographer. With the ears of a cat, he was able to hear the man as he snapped photos of him, though his partner was a bit left in the dark.
"Gazimon...?"
"Wait here a sec, wont ya kid?" The digimon said, before jumping up into a tree, his nimbleness and grace suiting of his feline form, hopping from branch to branch, before landing atop the trash can the human was hiding behind, crossing his arms and looking down disapprovingly.
"Mind if I ask exactly what it is you are doing?" He said in a rather antagonistic manner. Leo had wandered a bit twords his digimon and the mysterious man, and was a bit taken aback by the camera (Though he didn't show it. He was pretty good at being emotionless) hoping this guy wasn't from the tabloids or anything. He didn't want to be in the news spotlight again...

Vincent had to look away for a second. I can't believe this is happening. I don't think this is like seeing that flying white blob in the sky earlier. If this turns out to be hallucination, then my mind is incredibly evil. He turns back to take more pictures, but This isn't good... This meant one of two things; it was up to something or he was delusional. It was obvious it wasn't the latter when something landed on top of the garbage can.
"<Hell!?>" He dove for cover. He gets up hearing an unpleasant tone, "Mind if I ask exactly what it is you are doing?" Realizing the game is probably up, he starts to put the camera back into smaller parts. The jornalist thought just to improvise out of there, hoping not to be mauled. The film deposit was the first thing in his pocket, "I might ask you the same. Jumping onto garbage cans, scaring the daylights out of people." It was then when the boy came into view. He seemed awfully familiar for some reason, but he couldn't think of why. Besides, escape was more important. "You Japanese are really something else. Playing tricks on poor tourists. Well, I hope that costume of yours gets caught on an escalator. I hate this country and I'm never coming back." His phrases were a bit random, but playing 'stupid tourist' has saved his life before. He's going to doubt it were going to stop the two; but hopefully a headstart. Vincent started to sprint for the exit.

As the reports predicted, small droplets of water began to fall down around them. Each impacting the enivorment in a different manner than the other. While some of the rain cause the leaves to shiver and shake, in another part of the woods, it made the ground soft and damp. But what made matters interesting and possibly bizzare, was the strange mist that seem to follow. The traveling fog quickly overtook the area, covering the trio surrounding to the point where they could barely see each other, or even the way they had entered. It also seemed that the mist was firmly in place, no longer moving as it had before, almost like a barrier or force field. But soon, they would hear a loud cackle from the distance. The cackle would emit a second time, this time, closer than the last. Then finally, a shadow would overcast them from behind, stretching further out as it drew closer with each step intill it was almost breathing down their necks. Then, as it stated at a few feet distance, it would cackle once more. "Cah! Ca ca cah!!!"

Vincent would not be able to get away. As he turned to run, he would find himself slamming into a seemingly invisible wall, unable to pass through it. Upon closer inspection, it was a type of transparent force field, that seemed to have its center with the boy who was acquainted with the monster he had been snapping photos of. Within one of his hands was a trading card, recognizably from the digimon card game, and in the other was a strange device, the screen glowing, having just had a card swiped through it.
"Thank you for that Leo..." Gazimon said smugly, and began to approach the man who had been snapping photos of him "I assume that you would be willing to let me take a look at those photos of yours m-"
He ceaced his talking when he heard raindrops. Due to the shield card active, they bounced off the field as if it were made of glass, dripping down the sides, making it appear as if the group were encased in a type of glass dome. The fur on the back of Gazimons fur stood up and his eyes narrowed as he sensed something wrong, the fog soon setting in, and Leo's D-Arc bleeping like crazy.
"Gazimon...." Leo said, hearing the voice getting closer, knowing what this signal from his digivice meant.
"Crap...." He said in an annoyed tone, turning from the human (not like he would be going anywhere) and facing the shadow that soon revealed itself to be the large bird digimon "Why at a time like this?"
Niether Leo nor his partner were scared of the bird however. It wouldn't be able to pierce through their shield as long as it was active, but that meant they wouldn't be able to attack it either. Not to mention in this weather, if they lowered the force field, their other annoyance would likely get away...

In fact, he did run into the wall. "OW! What the hell is this!" Frustrated he kicks the wall, only to hurt his foot. The pain made him curse out loud, in English. He turns around to grimace, cornered by, whatever the hell it is and the boy. Vincent was deciding either the try to kick it or throw dirt in its face as it went towards him. "I assume," the tone wasn't that friendly either, "that you would be willing to let me take a look at those photos of yours m-"
The rain started. The British journalist was able to clearly see rain wasn't getting in. That's wonderful... Somehow they've trapped me... Is it too late to find out that this is a hallucination after all? Alrighty... What has them so concerned that they took their eyes off... He heard the infernal beeping as well as the call of the new digimon. The calling got louder as it cam closer. He got a little more afraid, but figured he was screwed to begin with. He couldn't help the sarcasm, it was better than screaming for dear life. "I take whatever on Earth that thing is, it's not with you. I do hope whatever the hell you have up will prevent it from coming in. Or should I take pictures for the journalist who will write about our deaths?"

The large rooster paced around the strange barrier blocking his path towards his possible meal. While it appeared to be upset, he was infact simply planning his next move. After all, this wall could not last forever now could it?
"Kah!!!!"
It didn't seem to have developed its speech, which would make it difficult to communicate with. But then, maybe there would be no need to do anything of the sort.

Gazimon didn't take his eyes off the large bird, watching as it circled them, able to tell that it was plotting in the back of its head. It was just waiting for them to lower the shield, and then it would strike. Niether the cat nor the boy wanted to lower it willingly, as it would give their captive his chance to get away, but if they waited till it dissipated on its own, they would be unprepared. Gazimon sighed.
"Waiting isn't gonna do us any good. Its gonna jump us the first chance it gets..." The cat digimon said, his eyes coming off the chicken to glance over at his partner "Remember that combo we were talking about earlier?"
"Yah..." Leo replied, nodding slowly.
"Lets go then. I wanna get the first strike on this thing." The cat digimon glared over in the direction of Vincent "And if you so much as move an inch from where you are standing, I will find you later, and you will wish we left you as chicken feed. Got it?"
Leo sighed, and pulled out one of his cards, glancing at his digimon, who nodded to him, and swiped it through his D-Arc. A pair of knuckles appeared within his hands, colored black and grey to match his color scheme. The boy pressed a button on his digivice, and the rain fell upon them, chilling their bodies as the barrier between them and the monster dissipated. Gazimon lept forward, aiming an uppercut right underneath the chicken-monsters head.
