The rain pummels on the shield, as the man could tell the creature's sight wasn't hindered. It saw them clearly, stalking them as it waits for its turn to strike. He figured his question was ignored, when the cat digimon threatened, ""And if you so much as move an inch from where you are standing, I will find you later, and you will wish we left you as chicken feed. Got it?"
Not liking the comment, "I've never been threatened by an over-sized plushy before."
He wasn't going to run, he was going to take cover. I think I can get more photographs and keep them from attacking me afterward. He grabs a memory card from his left pocket, putting it in the same as his camera. Then he sees Leo pulling out a card, color=b59100]I know he's familiar, and what is he doing? Is he going to challenge it to a game of cards? The boy slides it through the device, in which Gazimon received brass knuckles. That gave him knuckle dusters? Wait, is that how they trapped me?
Rain began to pass through the shield, Time to hide] He went for trees as the furry brawler went for the chicken's face. Turning around, he quickly assembled the camera. Luckily, it was water proof. As soon as it was put together, he started taking pictures of the following actions.

Not expecting this, the bird quickly flapped his wings as he swayed his body to the side, barely avoiding the attack of the Gazimon. Releasing a high pitched crow from its beak, Kokatorimon fluttered his wings rapidly.
Then ,as if from out of the blue, two feathers shot out from each wing, appearing to be as sharp as knives. In doing so, the chicken like creature seemed to laugh as he was sure of his victory over digimon his attack soared towards it.
"Ka ka...ki ka kah!!!"

Unlike the pictures that the man had taken before, the current weather would most likely pose some problems to the photographer, the rain blurring the digimons image. Still, they would need to be dealt with. The cat couldn't have his existence getting out to the public, much less put Leo under a spotlight again. Plus, he was pretty bugged at the stuffed animal comment.
But alas, there was no time to concern himself with that guy for now. The matter at hand was the oversized poultry he had to take down. His attack unsuccessful, he landed upon the ground, and glared at the feathers coming twords him, but didn't move, staring them down as they made their approach.
With a rather fast and fluid motion, all the feathers were sliced in half before they had made contact with him. Within his left knuckled paw, a broadsword had appeared. Leo had swiped yet another card through his D-Arc. Again, the cat jumped upward, aiming a swing at the chicken digimon's neck, intending to slice it off...

The rain would blur the pictures, but Vincent figured that the bird should be able to be still noticeable. Spending all of 32 shots, he began to dissemble the camera. While they were in the thick of battle. he moves the film to the inside of his coat jacket. He hoped, in case he were to fall or get tackled, it would stay protected. The rest of the parts went into the side pockets. Though it would be a pain, they would be easier to replace than what the film had captured.
The Briton wasn't taking off though. The journalist had several reasons to stay in place. First, he didn't wanted to be spotted by the large chicken. He doubt he could easily outrun the beast. Second, how else is he suppose to learn what the over-sized cat plushy and giant bird are. He knew that they were somehow related and no matter how much he researches on his own, he simply wouldn't find anything about them. Finally, as he ponders that thought as the bird appears it was going to be beheaded, I probably don't want him to conjure another sword to go after me... I do hope my plan will work, if they want to play rough.

The large digimon saw the rookie's attack, yet unlike before, he wouldn't leave it unscarred. Though while he moved out of the way of the blade before it stuck his neck, it did manage to cut the upper part of his shoulder, causing him to screech in pain. Yet, it didn't appear that Kokatorimon was out of the match just yet.
Jumping back to get some distance between himself and the Gazimon, the large chicken glared towards the digimon, his eyes almost glowing. Then, he sent what appeared to be a laser like beam from each socket towards the cat like creature, a beam that if touched, could turn the target to stone.

Gazimon internally celebrated at the blow he landed on the bird. Sure, he didn't decapitate it like he had originally planned, but it was a start. He landed on the ground, and decided it was time to land another blow on his opponent. He charged twords Kokatorimon, and readied his blade, preparing to jump upwards, but in his eagerness to attack, he failed to notice that the large bird was readying an attack of his own. Too close now to avoid, the beam of light from his eyes collided directly with the cat-creature, and when the smoke cleared, Gazimon's body was stuck there, now made completely out of stone. The cat couldn't move. Internally he protested this transformation, but he could not speak either. He was pretty much a statue. A thinking statue.
Leo was taken aback. Crap. This wasn't good. He took a step away from the chicken monster, trying to think frantically of a new battle plan... but what plan was there when his partner was stone? Would it wear off eventually? Would he be stuck as rock forever? Well, that wasnt his main problem at the moment. Right now he was more worried about that large poultry that was interested in making the humans the meals for once...

The man grimaces when the big cat miss, C'mon, finish all ready! The sooner the bird was out the commission, the sooner they are out of the rain and closer he is to learn what these creatures are. As Gazimon closed in for the attack, Vincent heard, "Go get him!"
"What?" The journalist looks around, swearing he had someone right by him, like a child. A few seconds later heard a scream, followed by, "I don't want to be next!"
Clear on which direction the voice came from, he looks up. At the same exact moment, something fell from the tree and knock his glasses off. "You're kidding me!" He picks up his glasses, using his coat to wipe off the wet pieces of grass. Putting them back on, he found a weird object. It was white with gold stripes and a cyan strap. At the end of the strap was a loop, which held cards. Wait... Isn't this?
Not yet noticing Gazimon's state, he screams to Leo. "Hey kid! I found an object like yours! How do I use it! How do I trap it in a bubble or something!" He didn't find the time to thoroughly examine it. Vincent didn't know all digivices didn't come with the same abilities as other tamers, let alone how he was suppose to work it.

Kokatorimon quickly turned towards Vincent, seeing he was the only one to actually shout loudly and draw the rooster's attention. Clucking as if in laughter, the large bird slowly passed by the now stone Gazimon while making his approach towards the older tamer.
Then, he stopped moving, turning his sights towards Leo. Looking from Leo to Vincent, it was almost as if the bird was trying to decide which would be better to eat first? After all, they appeared to be in the same meal plan, just one was bigger than the other. In the midst of his difficult choice, the digimon scratched the back of its head, causing small feathers to slowly float to the ground as he struggled to choose.

Leo blinked and glanced back at Vincent, noticing that yes, he indeed did have a digivice. This brought some relief to the boy. That meant his partner had to be nearby, or something to that effect... hopefully.
"You don't have the right card to be able to do that!" He called to the older person. Actually, maybe he did. He didn't know. But perhaps in those three cards he had was one that Leo could find useful. His attention turned to the bird digimon again. It had gotten closer. He eeped, and tried to make a run for Vincent, but slipped on the wet ground, and fell to the dirt, his digivice sliding out of his hand, twords Vincent. Crap. Defiantly not good...

Vincent didn't like how the situation was coming. The only line of defense is petrified, the bird was choosing what for dinner, and Leo said he didn't have the corrects something. The boy wasn't heard as he yelled while the wind was roaring. Did he say machine?
The boy came running at him, only to slip on the grass. As Leo impacts into the ground, his digivice came sliding into Vincent's feet. The man picks it up, He slid a card through then it made the dusters... I hope it knows we need a shield. Without examining, he slides one of the digimodify cards in the slot. He immediately runs and slides right by the boy. He held onto the digivices for dear life, hoping a shield would pop up to prevent being chicken feed.
