Gazimon didn't mind that the film wasn't tossed to him, as long as it wasn't in the guys hands anymore, it was good. He did continue to glare at him though. From what he knew of reporters, he didn't like them. They were a large contribution to the emotional problems his parter had, and he would rather not expose him to something like that again. Then again, this guy did seem trustworthy... to an extent. He went through with the film, at least.
Leo fumbled around with the film momentarily, eventually getting full hold over it. He had snapped back into reality when the object had been thrown his way. He wasn't sure exactly how to answer the man (assumed reporter now, as nobody really recognized him anymore) noticeably becoming a little nervous. Of course, it was obvious his partner wouldn't let anything go wrong... so he went ahead and told him.
"...I wouldn't say 'son'" He said. It was true. He didn't really see that man as his father. Fathers would be more personal with their children then he was. At least, thats how he thought it should be. But how would he know? He never really had one he felt he could connect to. He always called him Ryuuto. Never father or dad, or anything of the like. He didn't seem to mind, at least. Perhaps because he rarely minded his 'child'...

"Well, you don't need to get into that. It was just because you looked familiar, I think I've done an interview with you and your father. I can see why you wouldn't want to be in the papers again, even if it weren't about keeping an 'exotic' pet. The 'vultures' are scary and overwhelming." Vincent puts his camera in his jacket. To be honest, he wasn't sure if he did interview them. He just remembered he was paid a lot for the special event, just for the wrong reasons in this case.
What father would let his child run around with a strange animal, and let them slay monsters? Done joking with himself, "So, you two just go around killing any of those creatures that aren't friendly? How come no one else has figured this out? No civilian or security camera ever happen to catch a glimpse? Displaying the digivice, "Where did this come from? If there was another person and monster around, why didn't they join in and threw this in my face?
The Brit sounded a bit peeved with the last statement. Besides not helping them, it was adding insult to injury to hit him in the face. It leads to another question, remembering the voice that screamed. The man had an odd expression asking it. "Are you monsters attracted to children?"

Leo blinked a bit, slightly taken aback by the mans statement. His original belief had been that most reporters were in the buisness simply for the money, and had detached themselves from the emotions of those they were exploiting for money, but he supposed that wasn't the case... at least not with this one. He didn't recall if he truly did have an interview with him, to be honest. The time in his life when he was upon the various headlines was a blur to him. He didn't care much to remember the faces of those poking questions at him when he didn't even get their name.
"When a digimon appears, a thick mist appears with it. A type of digital field or something. I think it distorts security camera networks and the like, so I don't think its possible for them to catch scenes like that one on film." The digimon responded to the man. He seemed to be lightening up a bit, most likely because he was disproving what he had believed was the standard human reporter attitude "If we didn't go and take care of these things before that field dissapeared, they would roam free. Then think of the panic that would arise from that. Its something I could do without. If suddenly word got out that monsters were freely patrolling streets, I would have ta keep a much lower profile." He glanced up at the person, noting how annoyed he seemed. "Listen guy, I don't even know why I ended up here, or why my buddy got that machine of his, or why I happen to be paired with someone under legal adult age. If you want answers for that, you are asking the wrong guy." A smirk came upon his face as he said his last bit "You are a reporter right? Why don't ya do some investigating?"

Vincent listens attentively. Luckily, Gazimon had seen to lighten up, not being as threatening as before. So the fog creates an electronic interference. As long as it dies before the fog lifts, the body will vanish as if it was from a video game. And he has no idea why this happen or how partners are selected. And that wasn't the only thought... Wanting to establish he wasn't thinking of the 'adult' thought of his previous word, "I meant that in a lot of children tales, kids runs into monsters. I was wondering if something needs to be around for them to show up, but I guess we won't know."
The rain eventually stops. The man didn't pay attention that it did. Plus the plushy irked him, "If it's like you said, the fog would've prevented any sort of surveillance camera from getting a picture. I don't remember what direction they ran off. And since it's a kid; might look a tad suspicious if I start looking for him in public. He takes a breath.
It wasn't his first time looking for a lead with little to go on. Vincent has to do a lot of investigation. Not so much for the newspaper he works for, but he likes to know as much of the truth as he can. If the Digimon is right, they need everyone with the Digivices to fight these battles. "And if a monster were to break up and roam free, is there a way to track it?"

"Well well! You do know the limits of what you are going up against. Of course, whos to say that the person who gave you the device is a kid? I did mention that I don't think its just youth who have them, though what few we have ran into did seem to." The digimon responded, a bit amused at the humans flustered attitude. He raised a claw to point at the very device the man had just recieved. "If one appears, that thing should tell you. It seems to have a type of radar inside it. Of course, I wouldn't go looking for one without a partner. Its suicide for just a human. Bigger fellas then that chicken might show up one day."
Leo nodded a bit at his partners words. They had seen their fare shares of battles, but most were relatively easy to get over. He had to imagine that there were indeed stronger creatures that had yet to emerge. He just hoped that by then they would be strong enough to handle them.
"Gazimon?" The boy spoke up, his partner giving him an over the sholder glance "I think we should head back for today... my clothes are soaked, and I know how you don't like getting wet..."
The boys words brought the feline to re-examine his drenched fur, giving an annoyed groan, and trying to shake himself off like a dog would. It wasn't very effective though.
"Ugh... yah, lets go back. I think Ive had enough wetness for today..." He said, and Leo turned to start walking off, digimon in tow. The monster glanced back at Vincent though and called out to him with a slight wave, and another slight mocking smirk. "Well, good luck, whatever you do! Im sure you'll find something. And if not, I hear you reporters are good at making stories out of nothing!"

Don't forget photo-altering software. Vincent just watches the two walk away. Though he rather not waste his writing skills on completely making up trash, it felt good that he was caught. His job was destructive enough. Going through rumors, taking private pictures, and trespassing. The purpose was to uproot lives just so other people do not have to go through the trouble, to peek in themselves.
The past was different. He was earning money to present facts, talk about what was important, and not feel like dirt at the end of an assignment. There are some decent news outlets out there, but The Shine isn't one of them. They would've no problem paying Vincent to destroy the tamer's relationship; for the sake of readers' interest. Instead, he gave Leo and Gazimon a chance to be able to live. Thinking about it; he would want to wish a stranger to give the same mercy to Lance. It would be painful to see him go through such an ordeal.
Taking a deep breath, he heads out of the park. Vince takes out the digivice and looks at it. Whoever that monster will be, will I have the same relationship that those two share, with it?
