School, peaceful for the most part, yet for Jeri, its peace wasn't helping her thoughts. After the events of last week, she couldn't help by day dream. Digimon were reappearing all over Japan, not only that, but they were looking for Calumon. For reason, she didn't know, even Sangloupmon had hidden his thoughts from her when he had invaded her mind. So she could do nothing but worry about her small friend.
Then, there was the matter of Salamon, her new self-proclaimed digimon partner. How was it that she had become a tamer again? Was it faith, destiny, her wish being heard by some greater power? Jeri,herself, was still confused by this process called destiny, but she was having a hard time believing that it was what caused this to happen.
"Jeri...Jeri!"
Her thoughts snapped out of it as she quickly realized that her instructor was calling her name. Shaking her head, the girl face turned red as she knew she had been caught not paying attention.
"Sorry..."
After apologizing, she did her best to remain as much apart of the class as possible. Avoiding any thoughts that would lead her away from the lesson at hand.

Takato sat there lazily drawing his notepad not paying any attention to class. As he finally noticed what he was drawing he couldn't help but smile. He had drawn himself and the whole digimon crew. That meant everyone who had went to the digital world. Even.....Even Leomon... He wondered how Jeri was doing. They hadn't really talked like they use to.
He looked up frantically as he heard his instructor speak. He waited for the scolding and sent into the hall, only to realize that she was talking to Jeri and not him. It seems like she had a lot on her mind. He would have to talk to her. He began to write a note to Jeri and waited until the teacher turned towards the board before using the student pass around. He nodded as his note reached her desk. It was folded and small so that the teacher would not notice it so easily.
The note read
"Hey Jeri. It seems theres a lot on your mind....What's going on?"

Jeri focus had been on the chalkboard, intill she had noticed the small slip of paper reach her desk. Looking around for its sender, she quickly saw the nod of Takato, causing her to somewhat smile as she placed the note into her lap, opening it underneath her desk.
As she glanced down to study its messege, she soon realized that her day dreaming hadn't just gone unnoticed by the teacher, but by the boy as well. It was funny though, it had been a long time since they had really talked. It was probably her fault mostly, she never really attempted to talk to him after the digimon had returned to the digital world. That, and she couldn't really understand what he and the others were going through, at least not in the way that they all had.
Placing the small note back on her desk, she jotted down a reply and then passed it along to another student, watching as it reached Takato's desk.
"Its hard to explain through note passing, plus I don't want to get in trouble. I'll meet up with you after class ok?"

Takato yawned as the note reached his desk. He began reading the words on the note and nodded towards Jeri hoping that she would see his nod. If not, he would just get her after class anyway. She gave another yawn as the teacher went back to doing her teaching deal. He streched before starting to draw again.
After Class"
After most of the students left the class to go to lunch, Takato went over to Jeri's desk and sat down to a sit near her. He then said, "So...Jeri, what's on your mind? It most be big if it's hard to explain."

Jeri looked towards Takato with a calm expression, nodding towards his comment as it was a pretty big deal. At least, as far as she was concerned. After all, it wasn't as if digimon appearing again was something that could be considered completely good or bad.
"It is...Digimon are appearing in Japan again Takato..."
Her whisper was soft, but firm, just to show how serious she was. She even began to tell him about the events that happened in Yoshua Land, and how she and Perris, another tamer had been attacked by Sangloupmon, who was looking for Calumon.
"But, even after I looked around the usually places, I still haven't found him...Im not even sure if he's in the real world, but the fact that a digimon like Sangloupmon was looking for him...I'm really worried about him Takato..."

So Jeri had noticed the increase in digimon...He had kind of hoped that she hadn't. afterall he didn't want her to get involved. Afterall with what happen last time. In fact, he wished that the new tamers didn't have to get involved....but because of one of them, Jeri was alive and save.
"....Yes, I'm aware that Digimon are appearing once again." said Takato. Of course he was aware of it, he had seen a fewer new tamers get their digimon and a few who came to him. Plus....him and the others had also came back. But he couldn't mention them, not now anyway, if he did, Jeri would be reminded of Leomon.
"I know Jeri, I'm worried about Calumon to. But we got to remember, he is one tough little digimon. After all, he took on the D-reaper and the Sovereigns." said Takato giving a nod of his head.

A sigh escaped her lips as Jeri began to pick up her books and place them within her bag. Yes, Calumon was a strong little digimon, but that still didn't mean that she wouldn't worry about him.
"I know...But still...Hes all alone out there..."
Jeri then slowly stood up, before quickly turning towards Takato with a frown.
"Wait! You knew about digimon coming back!? Why didn't you tell me?!"

"He's not all alone, he has the memories of all of us, plus when he actually needs help he will come, he knows when he needs help." said Takato with a calm face. He was worried to, more worried then Jeri would ever know, but he couldn't allow her to see him so worried for Calumon, that would just make it worse.
Takato was a little startled when Jeri turned towards him with a frown. He gave a little laugh and said, "Well, thats, um, because, um.....I just didn't want...." He gave a sigh before finally countine saying, "I just seemed like you became a little happier finally...I ju-just didn't want the memroies to come back..." He looked towards the ground trying to avoid her gaze but could still feel it no matter how far he looked away.

Jeri held her frown as she looked towards the boy. She couldn't believe that he would try and hide something like this from her. Though she could understand why he did it, he was just trying to look after her.
The girl then sighed as she placed her bag over her shoulder and then turned her back towards him.
" Ok, then I guess that means I can't tell you about my new partner...Good bye Takato..."
With that, Jeri headed towards the door of the classroom, giggling mostly since she knew this would probably cause him to chase after her, in fact... she was counting on it...

She hated him...She hated him...He gave a sigh as she turned her back to him. He kind of thought it would turn out like this. It was probably better this way though. She would stay away from the battles, she wouldn't get hurt...Wait! What did she say! New Partner?!
"W-Wait J-Jeri!" called Takato as Jeri was leaving the room. Crap. He went to his seat and grabbed his bag and quickly hurried towards Jeri. What happens if it happened again? Would she become the same as last time? No..This time it wouldn't happen....Right?
As he caught up to Jeri he looked at her and said, "Jeri....You have a new partner? Ho-How did it happen?"
