Jeri seemed to have forgotten all about the fact that Takato had hidden information from her, and was now smiling as she could see that his interest had been peaked. But, then again, that was Jeri for you, never one to really hold a grudge over something small, only the major things.
Looking up towards the ceiling as they walked down the hall, Jeri recounted what had happened, and did her best to explain the Salamon's appearance.
"Im not exactly sure how or why it happened...Maybe it was destiny? I mean, Leomon did say that everything happened because of it...Right?"
Jeri then looked towards Takato with a serious expression, asking for his opinion on the workings of fate and destiny.

She was smiling, meaning....She was happy? Happy he had showed interest, or for him chasing after her? Whatever, it really didn't matter. What was more important was to hear how and why she had received a new digimon and if something bad could happen to it.
Destiny....Did he really believe in destiny? Was it destiny that he was a tamer? He had randomly found the blue card....He just happened ot draw a picture of Guilmon and swiped it. Was that destiny? Or was it...luck? Luck could be called destiny he supposed..He turned to Jeri to see that she was looking towards him waiting for an answer.
"Ummm...Yeah Leomon did say that a lot..." He knew that wasn't the answer she wanted...but he wasn't sure of what he thought.

Jeri then giggled as she figured asking Takato something so serious probably wasn't the best idea. He seemed to be more of the kind to just follow his heart, more so than some weird twist of fate. But, maybe thats why she liked him so much...
"Well, I guess thats alittle far fetched huh? Destiny can't be involved in everything..."
The girl then returned her gaze forwards, looking at the ground as she held her smile alittle longer. She then looked towards inside one of the classrooms, causing her to stop in her tracks.
"Takato...Salamon can't climb can they?"
Her eyes seemed glued to the window within the room, and at the small puppy that was staring at her with a smile.

Takato gave a sigh of relieve when Jeri didn't continue with the question and accepted his answer. It was good that Jeri was so carefree. It made talking a whole lot easier. Most people would've kept pestering, but not Jeri. He yawned and covered his mouth. He sure was tired lately...He wondered why..
"Ummm.....I don't know...I-It could be I suppose." said Takato with a little stammer in the middle not sure on his thoughts. Jeri really had been on destiny is everything eversense the D-reaper incident. He wondered what really was going through her head.
"Huh? Oh, umm....Well, Salamon is a cat right...So i guess...so? Whats wrong?" said Takato as he stopped and turned around to see that Jeri was looking into another classroom. He then walked back towards Jeri and looked at her with his head tilted.

Jeri didn't even attempt to explain, she simply took hold of Takato's hand and pulled him into the room. It was a good thing that everyone had gotten out for lunch, otherwise it would have been trouble for sure. Outside of the room's window was Salamon, who was tapping her paw against the glass with a smile.
As Jeri quickly opened the window, the small digimon instantly hopped into her arms, giggling as she looked up at her tamer.
"There you are! You're really hard to find, I had to have looked in about a dozen rooms. Which one is your room anyway?"
Jeri lifted up the Salamon so that it was at eye level with her. She never had this kind of trouble with Leomon. But then, Leomon was probably alot older than Salamon, and more tamed.
"Salamon you shouldn't be here! This is school!"
Seeing as though the digimon's response to this was a small giggle, the young girl sighed as she then held the creature in her arms as she looked towards Takato.
"This is Salamon...my digimon partner..."

Takato hadn't really been paying much attention to the room they had just passed until Jeri grabbed his hand and took him inside the class room. Only to see cat like animal come into the class room saying looking for Jeri and finally finding her.
Takato looked back and forth from the Salamon and Jeri before hearing Jeri say that Salamon was her partner. Takato gasped for a second before steading his breath once more. "So Salamon is your partner? Wow..." So it was to late to not involve Jeri...She had already been involved and there was nothing he could do.

Jeri nodded as she continued to hold a smile on her face. As the girl gently stroked the digimon's fur, Salamon slowly closed her eyes, seeming pretty content in finding her tamer at last.
"Yup, but she can be a handful..."
Looking around for other people, Jeri slowly placed the Salamon within Takato's hands while she removed her small square backpack from her shoulders. Once it was placed on the ground, she proceeded with putting the sleeping Salamon inside.
"Now I have to think of a way to get her home without my parents seeing her..."

At least Salamon and Jeri were getting along. It seemed like they would be no real problems with these two. But...Shes a handful? Psh, Jeri must not have remembered Guilmon's first week in the real world...The box incident and all the other things he did, now that was a handful.
How to get Salamon, over to her house without her parents knowing....Hmmm..."Well....I can carry her in my bag and bring her up to your room and say that were studying." Takato had almost said that she could put her in the same spot that Guilmon use to be at...But at the moment...It probably wouldn't be save.

Almost as if reading his thoughts, Jeri giggled to herself while looking at her bag. While Salamon was challenging, she was nothing compared to how Guilmon was when he first arrived. From the story Takato told her, the red digimon had followed him to school in a box. Which soon explained the boy's reason for skipping school.
"I wonder if I should remind him that he still owes me for not telling his folks about that? Nah..."
At the moment, she had to figure out how to get the digimon out of the building. Thankfully, Takato seemed to have come up with a nice idea. In fact, it would work alot better that way...
"Takato you're a genius!"
Jeri smiled at the boy as she rose up to a stand position, gently lifting bag up and over each of her shoulders.
"We can do the exchange outside of the school. That way,we don't have to worry about anyone seeing her.."

So it seemed like Jeri remembered something that gave here a small giggle. He really wondered what she remembered to make her giggle like that. Maybe something about Calumon? Maybe Impmon....Impmon...Was he okay? he hadn't seen or heard anything about him.
Takato looked at Jeri when she called him a genius, he gave a small red blush before laughing a little. He looked at Jeri and said, "I wouldn't go that far..."
Takato looked at Jeri and nodded when she said that they should probably do it outside. If worse came to worse though, they could call it a cat, they just needed to keep her silent. Takato didn't really know what to do right now really....lunch period wasn't quiet over yet...maybe walk around?
