"I can not believe Im letting you do this. People are not seriously gonna buy this..."
Brittany watched each side of her as Veemon walked slowly beside her. It was late in the afternoon, after just finishing her secret Kendo lesson, the young girl was making her way home. But, with one minor difference. This time, Veemon was walking beside her, pretending to be a child in a costume. So far, it appeared as if the idea was working perfectly. After all, no one was screaming or in a panic. In fact, some of the people they passed thought it was adorable. An older sister walking her little brother around town in his costume.
Looking up at the girl, Veemon managed to show her his tradmark ,"I told you so", grin as they continued on their way. Which, she didn't seem to mind.
Stopping for a moment, the girl looked down an alley way, blinking as she stared into the darkness within. For some reason, she thought that she'd seen something. But, maybe it was just memories from way back coming to her. Her first encounter with live digimon had been somewhere around here.
"Da ja vu...."
"Heh?"
"I thought I saw something...this is almost exactly like the time I first met you...."
Veemon looked down the alley as well, his eyes scanning each corner to find nothing of interest. The digimon then looked back up at his tamer and shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't sense anything weird. Maybe you're just tired from swinging that stick of yours..."
"Its not a stick. This happens to be a Shinai, a gift from my Kamiko Sensei..."
Looking upwards toward her shoulder, she stared at the hilt of the weapon as it was hanging by a strap on her back, right next to her backpack. She really did take great pride in it,especially since she had recieved it for free.
"Whatever...theres nothing back there. Let get home so I can eat..."
Brittany smirked down towards the blue dragon, nodding slowly as she took one last glance towards the alley before continuing down the street with her friend.
