The creature continued to soar, taking his prey further and further from the city. It would soon seem like forever to her, but then she would feel them slowly come to a stop. As the Flybeemon landed within a clearing among a vast area of tree, he dropped the female tamer to the ground and then pointed towards her with a smirk.

"Now....You will explain the Tamer's role of causing Digi-volution!!"

After chasing the Flybeemon for while, looking at his Digivice the entire time, Logan managed to run directly into a wall. Crap, can't let it get away. And that girl might get hurt too, he thought, getting back up. The arrow on the Digivice vanished, clearly the digimon was out of range.

He turned to face Veemon. "Uh, dude. Your tamer's gone. I can't track her anymore..."

Tsumemon had followed, but avoided the wall. "I guess she's doomed, huh?"

"Shut up! Shes not doomed alright!"

Veemon then quickly paced from side to side. He had to think of something. Brittany was counting on them, on him! But how could he track this thing if they couldn't get a signal. Perhaps it was time to think alittle outside the box.

"Ok! I think I got it!"

Slamming his fist into the palm of his hand, the dragon grinned as he began to explain his theory.

"Hes a bug right!? Where else would a bug that big go?! Hes gonna go someplace where he's gonna feel at home! Get where Im going with this guys?"

"Right! Bright lights! Since he's a bug, he habitually head straight at the bright lights!" Logan said, excited that they now had a heading. "But that doesn't exactly help us since it's daytime, ya know?"

"Dude, I think he means it gonna head to it's natural habitat," Tsumemon said. "That means he's gonna go to the forest or something like that."

"Oh, that'd make sense," Logan said, clearly disappointed that his young partner seemed to be smarter than himself. "Hey Tsumemon, how do you talk? You seem to be just a hand, so how do you talk?"

"I have a hand in what you'd call the palm of my hand, you noob," Tsumemon said, insulting Logan with vocabulary he'd never actually heard.

Veemon could do nothing but shake his head as he stared at the duo. Though, as he did so, he wondered if this was exactly how he and his tamer looked when they were at each other's throats. But then, it was him, who was usually getting insulted or scolded for misbehaving.

"Yea! What the hand said! So come on!"

Rushing back towards the way they had come, he then stopped when he realized that he had no idea where the forest was. The last few times he had visited that area, Brittany had been the one to guide the way.

"Um....Anyone know how to get to the forest area of the city?"

Brittany laided on the ground, somewhat stunned by the fact that this creature had just dropped her as if she were nothing more than an object. Yet, she probably shouldn't have expected a more graceful landing. But when it began asking about how tamer's help in digi-volving,she was left almost with a blank stare.

"Um....Well...I guess we help train our partners to become stronger...I really don't know too much about it..."

In honesty, she really didn't have too much knowledge upon how digi-volution worked. She just knew that it happened when the tamer needed their partner the most.

I could really use Veemon right now....

The FlyBeemon lowered itself to the ground, listening to the human as it explained their role in digi-volution. But the information she gave him, it was the same as what he already knew. All digimon knew that tamer's trained their digimon to become stronger, yet what caused them to change? There had to be more!

"I think that there is more than what you are telling me human..."

Stalking slowly towards her, he glared at the girl as he then loomed over her. In size, this digimon was definatly taller, even though his body was segmented.

"I suggest you tell me the rest...I have no doubt that your...friends...will not find you here..."

Was it bad luck that he had seen the big bug flying with it? Or was it really that it was bad luck that Kotemon had saw it. It was defiantly bad luck that Kotemon saw it rather then him. If Kotemon hadn't seen it, he wouldn't be running through the town into a deep dark forest. As the bee finally landed Perris gave a sigh and began to listen to what it was talking about.

Well, at least it wasn't looking for Calumon or the Catalyst or whatever. There was a little luck on his side this time though. He had remembered to bring his bow. Kotemon looked at him with her glowing eyes and gave a blank look. He gave a shrug before taking aim. He then fired an arrow and hit a tree just barely missing the digimon's head. He stood up and placed the around his arm and said, "I'm not one for sneak attacks. So I'm guessing that your not her digimon partner."

Kotemon looked at Perris, well, the a digimon partner wouldn't be asking such queistions if they were partners. She walked in front of him and took out her shinai and looked towards Perris. Perris gave a sigh and said, "Knowing from my last encounter with Sangloupmon, I know that you will not just leave so...."

Perris opened his back packet and took out a card before throwing it in the air and saying, "Digi-modify.... activate!" Perris gave a sigh, now with Counter attack, Kotemon's attakc power was incresed to a Champions level.

Kotemon not waiting for the bee like digimon to respond she quickly moved towards it with its shinai on fire and said, "Hot Head!"

"This way! I know the way!" Logan said, picking up the two Digimon and putting them on his shoulders. He exited the ally and started running to the left until he hit the main street. "It's this way! I've been there before!"

"Good job dude! But what's going on up there?" Tsumemon asked, refering to the guy fighting the Digimon.

"Whoah, I can use my cards?" Logan said, surprised b what the guy was doing. By now, they had reached the small assembly and he placed Veemon on the ground. Tsumemon climbed onto Logan's head.

Setting his feet upon the ground, the dragon quickly dashed towards his tamer. Standing before her, he sighed in relief at the sight of her. He never thought he'd be so happy to see her face in his life.

"Thank god! Don't ever let that happen to you again! I almost had a heart attack in that alley! You're ok right?"

Nodding slowly, Brittany eyes just seemed focused upon Perris and his Kotemon. They had arrived just in time, though she had no idea where they'd come from. Yet, the fact that they had showed up was so amazing that she was speechless.

Turning in time to see the attack headed for him, the digimon quickly lifted up his arms, blocking the strike from hitting him completely. Though the force of the fiery attack was still damaging, it wasn't enough to cause the Flybeemon to admit defeat.

Jumping backwards before ascending into the air, the monster frowned as it shook its arms off from the strike, looking down at Kotemon with a glare. But soon, his focus was divided, as three more people arrived. In fact, it was the same trio he'd left in the city. How in the world had they found him so quickly?

"I see that this will not be an easy battle...So be it! Come to me and face your defeat fool! I will know the secret! I will know what make tamer digimon so strong!!!"
