There was more of a reason than just that though, but the angel did not need to know all that - he told her too much already, and she was a complete stranger too. The doctor'ish habit of talking with strangers seemed to be rubbing into him, this wasn't good. But he was not going to argue about not rebelling, the greatest exile is the one a person poses upon himself.

He listened to what the angel had to say about the battle with a grim look on his face - it seemed that with paildramon's death allowed a much more dangerous commander to step in his place. And if that one was allowed to escape - there was a chance he would return with a new army another day, and that time, they would not make the same mistakes...

- A cornered rat will bite the cat. - he summarized everything the angel said in one quote. The face expression of the commandramon changed from eager to a frown - he figured what would be the answer to his request. Once again he had to stay out of good stuff. The kid didn't understand his dad was only thinking about the child's own good.

- So... I can't go? - he sounded utterly disappointed.

- Teach, can I go then? - Tylo's voice was heard from behind the curtain - he was obviously eavesdropping, just like everybody else...

When parallelmon destroyed all she wanted to destroy nothing but a horrible feeling of weakness remained in her heart. She become a knight in first place for her desire to serve and protect lord seraph and lady ophan, but she failed in her duty and now lived with the shame of failing to protect those who were important for her. All she lived for was revenge, but the tylomon brought some peace to her soul and as long she traveled with him, she wanted to make sure he become somebody who needed not protection and instead could protect others.

Lost in her thoughts she was when the disappointed young commandramon whined in front of his father, followed by the curious and inexperienced Tylo, who too wanted to join the search party.

"This is not a child's play. Unlike the last time we have not the advantage of a surprise attack and the enemy is in the defensive. While it would be for the best to stay here, you are not a child and you can make your own decisions. Feel free to go out, your sharp senses and hunter instincts would make of you a great asset in the search for the enemy, but if you go you need to be extremely careful, it would be your end to underestimate the tactics of the enemy and fall prey to an ambush"

Indeed, the tylomon was not a kid that had to be kept away from danger all the time and was old enough to decide for himself how to live his life just like how he decided to follow the darcmon into the world outside the ocean. The mission was one with a threat level of medium so it was a bit exaggerated to say he could die, but at the same time the tylomon NEEDED to learn what fear to death is and discover that courage isn't the lack of fear but the determination to continue despite having fear.

- In that case ... yeah I'm going. I stood on sidelines spitting missiles during the battle, and did nothing to directly help you out, and look what happened. I won't chicken out of anything again... - the Tylomon sounded very determined. He also felt guilty he wasn't at his teacher's side when she fought the paildramon. If he were closer, maybe he could have done something? Eh, probably not, but still he could have at least tried.

With that thought in mind, the shark hovered away from the hospital tent towards the general mobilization ground, where the army was regrouping after the battle. It was then when he heard a loud scream from behind - somebody tried to catch on to him:

- Hey Tylo! Wait for me! - the shout made the shark stop, and look back - he saw that the commandramon who was dismissed by his father was running behind him, swinging both arms.

- Com, I thought your dad told you to stay put, didn't he? - Tylo sounded a bit worried.

- Yeah he did. Not going to stop me though. I can't become a good soldier if I run away from danger all the time, now can I? Let's roll! - the commandramon replied stubbornly, and latched on to the floating shark's back. Tylo smiled. Least he won't be going out there alone. Alone was boring. And now they were going to have one hell of an adventure together!

- Buckle up! - Tylo replied optimistically, and the two went on to the mobilization grounds, hoping to get their place in one of the search teams...

She lied on one of the beds in the field hospital and simply closed her eyes as the tylomon left to have an adventure of his own. She was already used to pain but no matter how much she wanted, willpower wasn't enough to make her arm work properly and would become an hindrance were she to join the search team. Besides, she would be betraying her pupil by denying him the chance of doing something by himself.

"I still have much to learn, isn't that right, master slash angemon?"

The darcmon looked at the roof of the field hospital and had flashbacks of her time as a knight trainee. All the days she had to undergo painful training sessions and often she doubted if she was good enough to be one of the heavenly knights, but at the end of the day her mentor slash angemon would tell her she did a good job. She still hadn't finished her training when he died and with her incomplete knowledge, she had to face per first time the mighty parallelmon.

She wasn't going to end like her mentor she told to herself and was determined to complete training this tylomon until he were the greatest shark digimon in the world, only once she finished with this task she would once more try to defeat parallelmon.
