What Larry did not expect was a water balloon in the face. That was the last straw. Sort of. If the little girl wanted a fight, he'd give her one. Or, to be more precise, Renee would give one - the young man was not going to engage in highly personal combat. It was time to teach the annoying brat a lesson, or better yet...
- TACCOM, this is Stalker 1. Spotted a tamer and a digimon in the woods. Urges for a fight. What must I do? - he asked in the radio, while swiping away the ... urine from his face. He spitted in disgust, aiming at the girl's face. The little b*tch!
- Could the tamer be of any use to us? - the voice from the radio came out.
- Unlikely. The spoiled brat is not worth of trying to cooperate.
- In that case, act as you see fit. We can't let any more of those running around aimlessly. - when that reply came out of the radio, a vicious grin appeared on the renamon's face - that was just an answer she was hoping for. Larry blinked a few times in confusion.
- Roger that, TACCOM. Out. - Larry switched the commlink off and looked at the girl and her digimon again. It was settled then - time to teach her a painful lesson. And that lesson was not to pick a stronger opponent. He took a dozen steps back, so that his digimon would not be hindered in her movements and said:
- Renee... Do your worst.
The next moment, without saying even a word, the silver fox jumped away from the pair, her eyes focused on the target, and her arms spread widely, forming an all-too familiar attack. Renee was cunning in her approach, however, she shifted to a position where both Aruraumon and the girl would be on one line, so that if said digimon could evade the barrage, it would hit the girl.
- Diamond storm!

"Cha!"
Shana cheered after her balloon hit him in the face. Perfect! The battle had already started, and Shana was now ready for combat. It was time to get this started for real now that introductions had been done, and Shana was ready to take out this man and his Renamon. She would show no mercy. He did not need mercy. He needed to be taught a lesson about dealing with the greatest Digimon Tamer in the entire world.
"Alright Aruraumon! Lets get this started! She's a Renamon, so she'll probably attack far comba-" before Shana could finish her sentence however, the Renamon was already preparing her attack. This wasn't so much of a surprise, but it was a bit rude to attack in the midst of a conversation.
"Aruraumon, to the left!" Shana shouted to her Digimon.
"Roger that, Shana-chan!" Aruraumon said as she quickly dived to the left. At this same time, Shana dodged to the left as well. Now that the battle had begun, Shana had no time for play, even though this was her style of game. Now next to Aruraumon after having dodged the initial attack, she'd have to prepare for the real battle. Shana quickly dug through her deck of cards and pulled out one which she wanted. Quickly, she swiped it through her Digivice.
"Digimodify! Digicannon Activate!" Shana cried out. Her Digimon's right arm began to change into a cannon, just like the one Gorillamon had. "Now, Aruraumon, launch me with your vines!"
Aruraumon nodded once again. She reached out using her left arm and extended her vines and wrapped them around Shana.
"Nemesis Ivy!" She called out her attack and then launched Shana up into the air and directly for the Renamon, though unless something changed, she would narrowly miss the Renamon and dart through the air past her. In the meantime, Shana had already prepared which card she was going to use next. Aruraumon, on the other hand, held her cannon up and pointed it at Renamon.

As Marik listened to the exchange he could tell one thing for certain. This wasn't some innocent tamer she was attacking, and that Renamon sounded absolutely vicious. One day he was going to get it through Shana's head that she wasn't invincible and there was always going to be opponents she couldn't defeat. Hopefully she knew that by the time the day was through. Provided she survived this encounter.
"Shouldn't we help her?" Kudamon whispered directly into Marik's ear. Kudamon cared little for Shana and wouldn't miss her if she disappeared. What happened to Aruraumon though, deserved more pity. He despised Shana, but he respected Aruraumon for relentlessly putting up with her tamer's abuse. In Kudamon's opinion, Shana didn't deserve such a loyal partner.
"Not now." He whispered back. He'd jump in eventually, but he decided to let Shana go at this opponent on her own for now.

Renee's grin widened when she saw the foolish plant launch her own tamer - the weakest spot in any digimon's position, straight at her. Something was fishy though - no one was just that stupid, even little girls. However, she was going to solve the opponent digimon's card problem once and for all. When the girl was about to pass her, she flipped into air, delivering a powerful blow, as if she was a professional soccer player, meaning to incapacitate the girl ... or worse, before moving out of the trajectory of a possible enemy cannon's blast.
Larry, however, who watched the battle from a safe distance, knowing better than to put himself in danger for some flawed combination, saw the bigger picture. A possibility for a standard combination was present for the enemy's side, and he had just a way to counter it. Not directly, of course, but even better. He finally decided to take out a card from his small deck.
- You can't kill what you can't see... - he whispered and slashed the card, and the next moment the entire place got covered in thick fog... ----------------- Card used:

"Uh-oh! Shana-chan!"
Aruraumon was ready to fire her canon at any instant at any moment, and now that she had thrown Shana, she was ready for her attack. She repositioned her canon to face the Renamon, and as the Renamon winded herself up for the attack, she fired the missile at her. She really hadn't expected the Digimon to attack a human child so brutally, but now that she did, Aruraumon knew that she couldn't underestimate this Digimon.
"Aaagh!" Shana cried out as Renamon's back-heel drop landed against the middle of her back and sent her crashing down to the ground and yelping in pain. She hadn't expected the Digimon to be that fast, and she had apparently greatly underestimated the Renamon. Aruraumon hoped that her cannon attack would also catch the Renamon, as she fired it simultaneously with Renamon's hit. At the very least, that would force some distance between Renamon and Shana.
As the fog set in, Aruraumon charged toward her fallen comrade, or at least where she remembered her to be, and stood right in front of her. The only thing that she could do now was try to protect her partner. If Shana was caught off guard from here, she would most likely die from another hit like that, if it were in the right place.
"This game is getting good... eh, Aruraumon?" Shana said wearily to her partner with a smirk. She couldn't help other than to cough hoarsely now. Her body was in so much pain, but she didn't mind it. All that she wanted now was to beat the SilverRenamon. Aruraumon looked down at her partner for a moment and shook her head, though Shana was much too tired to even notice.
She just doesn't get how dangerous this is... Aruraumon thought to herself before looking around her again for any signs of the Renamon. She couldn't allow another brutal attack to come upon her partner like that again.
"What to do now?..." Aruraumon thought. She felt completely lost. Shana remained on the ground and began to look through her deck. She needed an idea, then she suddenly saw it. There it is! My new card! This will do it! She pulled her card to her digivice.
"Digimodify! *cough* Digivice Activate!" "Aruraumon digovolve tooooooooo...."
Woodmon
Woodmon now stood there in front of her partner as she examined her new body. She had never been a Woodmon before, but she felt so much stronger than ever before. Maybe now she would be able to protect Shana. This was her only chance. If she didn't, this crazy Renamon would kill the little girl!
"You should leave now! We are getting nothing from fighting!" Woodmon shouted out to the Renamon. Shana simply snickered in between her wheezing.
"Shut up, Woodmon... *cough* The strong never back down from a challenge."

Marik watched in horror as the Renamon struck down Shana, sending her flying into a heap on the ground. He... he couldn't stand around like this. She needed a reality check, but he couldn't let her die in the process. She needed back up. Marik pulled out his invisibility chip from his deck and swiped it. In seconds, Kudamon's form became completely invisible. "Go after Renamon. I'll get Shana out of the way." He instructed.
Kudamon snaked out of Marik's jacket, and silent as a mouse, flew into the dense fog, in the general direction Renamon was. He had to move quickly, and make his move before the vixen had any chance of detecting him. Eyes locked on the outline of the silver fox, and he pushed forward, moving to wrap himself around the Renamon's neck, his face in hers as he attacked. "Crystal Aura!" Kudamon called, and his earring began to shine brightly. In addition to blinding the Renamon, the light would help Araraumon detect them so she could attack.
Meanwhile, Marik waited a few moments after Kudamon left, giving him enough time to get at Renamon before he moved. The good thing about the fog was that it hid him just as well as it hid the Renamon and her tamer. He ran straight for the area that Shana had fallen, nearly crashing into what he thought was a tree. Closer inspection though, proved it was... a woodmon? He didn't know any woodmon, but he locked eyes with the digimon for a second and realized it was Aruraumon. Behind her, lay Shana. He didn't even speak, he just picked her up and ran, putting some more distance between Shana and the Renamon.

Renamon barely managed to dodge the shot from Aruraumon's cannon, the blast managed to burn her fur a bit, but it did not touch anything important. She ignored this, anyway, not caring much about appearance - fur will grow back anyway. She heard various chatter coming out of the fog, probably between the girl and her floral digimon, followed by a remark that she should quit the fight and leave. She smirked - nobody was going to order her around, besides Larry, of course. And that call gave out the location of the girl too.
The Woodmon, whose digivolution was loud enough, was probably protecting the girl from her approaching, but that was a vaunted attempt, with renamon's abilities that was certain. It took her less then a second to prepare the Kohenkyo, when she suddenly heard something swooshing through the air at her. It was something invisible, but air resistance during flight gave it away. She finished the Kohenkyo just in time to escape the grip of the unknown creature, replacing her body with ... Woodmon, reappearing in her place.
She saw that some guy appeared and tried to carry her target away from the battlefield. They did not move fast enough to outrun a speedy renamon, and in a few leaps she appeared in front of the two humans, forming crystals to turn both into swiss cheese...
... Larry didn't know what the hell went on after the fog covered the area. His eyes widened when he heard an acute scream of a child - he did not expect Renee to deliver a blow as well. Didn't expect she was that merciless. He was unsure of what happened afterwards, all the noises and screams were too incoherent to make up. But when he saw another human running into the fog, the decision was made... Renee, in her battle rage, might have easily taken that one for an enemy and attack, not to mention the girl was already hurt. And Larry wasn't enough of an omnicidal maniac to allow two of those just ... die.
- I have you now... - Renee hissed violently, but, when she was just about to literally kill both with a diamond storm at point-blank range, she heard somebody shooting a gun in the air, and an all-too familiar voice: - I had enough of this farce. Stop this right now!

Shana watched as the Renamon switched placed with her Woodmon. Even from in Marik's arms, she could feel her heart beating one thousand times per second. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, despite the fact that she was upset that he had interfered with her battle. If she was going to die like this, then that was that, but she definitely didn't want for Marik to get hurt trying to protect her. It was her job to make sure he was safe after all, and she couldn't do that if he was going to be jumping into battle with her.
Shana faced the Renamon with a frown. She'd have to swallow her pride for the time being and accept that Renamon may have won that round, but it was far from over. She still had Woodmon after all, and Woodmon was a champion. It was quite possible that Woodmon could do something to protect her... and now she wouldn't know. She turned to face Renee's tamer who had just stopped the battle and glared at him angrily.
"What do you think you're doing?! The fight isn't over yet!" She screamed at him. "Are you giving up already?! I wanna finish itttttt!"

Kudamon's eyes widened in shock as his attack fell on a Woodmon rather than Renamon. He could have sworn..."Sorry..." He muttered apologetically. But he didn't waste his time sitting there. He had to get to Marik. If Woodmon was here, Renamon could only be...!
"You won't survive finishing it." Marik scolded. He didn't have time to say much else when the Renamon suddenly appeared in front of them and prepared a close range attack. "Don't think either of us will."

- No. This fight is over. You lost. - Larry replied, as Rena took a normal stance instead of a fighting one, and the crystal shards around her disappeared. Though it was obvious to see from her face she would rather shoot and be happy about it. The expression on her face changed to apologetic immediately, when she saw her tamer was deeply displeased.
Larry's eyes widened, when he saw the little girl in boy's hands. She looked very hurt, in bruises and scars from a very severe blow. Goddammit, that was a disproportionate retribution for a mere ... urine balloon... - he thought, looking at the poor child. Even such severe beating didn't beat the stupidity out of her though.
- What the hell did you do? - he almost shouted at Renee, who looked away, avoiding eye contact. She expected her tamer to be proud of how efficiently she fought, and not inverse.
- A back-heel drop on her back... - she replied quietly. Larry face-palmed.
- You nuts? What if you had broken her spleen? - he yelled. Renamon just stood there, not saying anything in defense. As her tamer was preparing his lungs to yell some more, that intention was disrupted by a certain radio call.
- Stalker 1! Come in! What is going on out there? - the operator asked curiously.
- Nothing, TACCOM. There are two tamers here now. - he replied back.
- We have a lock on your position, sending reinforcements now. Hold on.
- No, everything is under control. Call an ambulance on my position instead. Over. - Larry finished the radio transmission, switching it off again. Then he turned to the two kids in front of him. One quick click, and a picture was made on a mobile telephone - all he needed was a picture anyway, to add those two to the tamer list Hypnos gathered.
- Things I have to do instead of searching for an evil wild digimon here...
