It took great deal of self-control for Larry not to go on a shooting spree against all those morons who were coming out of nowhere, interfering with his mission one time too many. He started to have thoughts about actually giving Renee permission to go and break their bones or something - she seemed to be itching for it ever since the whole fight began. The young man had a wagon-load of patience, but even that much can run out.
A flying stone came out of nowhere, hitting the hand Larry held the gun with, making him drop it unto the ground. It didn't matter much anyway, since he picked it up with his spare hand, but the sudden attack ticked him off even more. Suddenly, an idea came. Why did he need to deal with a bunch of punks all by himself? They had seen too much already, they were not allowed to leave so easily.
- Unlucky punk... - Larry growled as he picked up the gun again. The girl didn't really manage to scare anyone, other than making a smirk of contempt appear on Renee's face. - I do not run from a bunch of idiots with a death wish. - she replied mockingly, but both she and Larry made a few steps away from the body, just so that they would not be surrounded by these weird people. Now two groups were facing each other. Larry sighed out and switched on the radio.
- TACCOM this is Stalker 1. We have run into a bunch of civvies that interfere with our mission. Send a party-wan to pick them off for interrogation. We also managed to disable the spawned digimon, it is still alive. - he said in the radio.
- Roger that Stalker 1. There is a patrol near your current position now. Relaying your coordinates... - TACCOM replied, in a few moments, somewhere, about a quartile away, the police alarms were heard. Or something like that. The operator was quick, they were coming... Larry turned to the kids and pointed the gun at them, this time holding it tightly, so that no filth bastard would knock it out.
- Congratulations, you're all under arrest. Nobody move.

That was right, they did outnumber this guy and... strange creature. And though Ishaan didn’t want anybody to get hurt, he still wouldn’t hesitate to defend himself or his friends from the two violent beings.
The boy watched with a look of concern as Laurence began to speak into the radio, and he basically didn’t understand half of the words coming out of the guy’s mouth. Nor had he ever even heard of a digimon, despite the fact that he was a kid. And with the gun pointed in his and the others’ direction again, Ishaan froze, he wished he was back at the monastery, this place wasn’t safe... at all... He had never met such a violent person, and... he’d been told this park area was supposed to be all about fun!
The preteen almost jumped up in surprise when he heard a voice so abruptly call out from a short distance behind Laurence, and flying in the sky no less. It was ... orange, but he couldn’t see what the creature was. “Boom Bubbleeee, pop!” Patamon called out, his stomach increasing in size before releasing a large shot of air from his mouth toward the man’s back without even giving it a second thought.

Tian was not sure why Ling was antagonizing the man that he had failed to disarm. It would only lead to them getting pushed farther into a situation that none of them really wanted to be in, or at least he didn't want to be in. Why was he in this situation anyway? Well Tian's little sister had lost her favorite bracelet the other day, and he had come to look for it like a good brother should. "Well this could be going better."
He was not sure what to do now that the man had his gun back and was radioing for assistance. Should Tian try and rush the man in order to let the others escape? It was not the wisest course of action as there was still the Huli jing to consider in his plan. The fox spirit was obvoiusly connected to the man in some way or another, so it would probably protect him from harm. What they needed was something to occupy the man's time, but what could they do in such a place?
Someone else must have been watching and acted in their favor as another creature appeared to aid them. He was not sure what it could do, but probably something supernatural in nature. This whole situation seemed to be turning into one of those shows that his mom watched while she graded papers. Tian couldn't remember the name for the life of him, but he thought it had something to do with ghosts."Now all we need is a smokescreen, and our retreat will be set."
TSUKAIMON? Apparently, another being was watching the proceedings as something similar to the first creature flew down to aid them, but for its own reason. Tian didn't notice it until it had said something, but when he did see it the young man was slightly fascinated by what it was doing. "Maligant Message!" Tsukaimon yelled right before he spat what looked like a giant purple loogie at the guy he thought was deranged. It would explode a few seconds after contacting with anything, so missing the target was not the main concern.

Slowly but surely, Monmon forced himself to roll ont his stomach and push himself up with his arms, though he still couldn't stand on his feet. They had arrived to help him, just as he thought they would. His friends, Patamon and Tsukaimon had come to his aide, and not a second too soon. If they had waited much longer, things certainly could have gone worse.
Ling sighed in relief, though at the same time, it was in frustration as well. She didn't know how to help out with the Renamon right there and her barely being able to move, but she'd certainly have to try something. Wasting not another second, she charged forward toward the Monmon, hoping the Renamon wouldn't get in her way. If she succeeded, she'd scoop him up into her arms and then run to join the others.

The sudden emergence of two weird digimon with ears for wings was ... unexpected. They came out of nowhere, not spotted even by ever-vigilant Renee until they finally came in sight. 'Tis an ambush?! - Larry though in a twist of paranoia, thinking that all those kids, and the digimon were to lure him and his partner here, to ambush them. The shtick passed in less than a moment, but Larry still wasn't going to let it escape. He did not notice the one behind them just as yet...
- Die you! - he exclaimed and fired a few shots at the purple one, before the sudden gust of wind from behind knocked him from his feet. The agent would have said thank you for that, because the giant purple loogie went above his head once he fell, exploding somewhere behind...
Now they were supposed to face two digimon plus three humans. If before the so-called numerical supremacy was irrelevant, since not even three people could stand against such a skilled warrior as Renee, now the balance was obviously not in their favor. The renamon, however, didn't think that way, stepping in front of Larry to shield him from any other attacks, and summoned a barrage of crystals, meaning to launch them both at kids and at the digimon the next moment.
- Do not attack, Renee. We are at a disadvantage here now... - Larry prevented her from launching her crystals, and extracted his telephone. Even though it was dark enough, the camera provided a flash. The agent wasn't going to let this one slide - they would return ... but later. With that in mind, he simply snapped a photo. A bunch of faces was all they needed anyway.
- Please, commander, their digimon are weak, I only need to get close enough, and I'll tear out their wings with my bare hands! - Renee protested.
- You'll do that next time, when they're not together, and if we get permission. For now, this fight isn't worth our trouble anymore... - Larry shrugged, and turned around. There was nothing else to lose here. The alarms were crying louder, meaning the patrol would be here in a matter of minutes. Let them deal with these.
- You heard that? We'll be back. - Renee tossed poisonously, and followed her tamer, but, before leaving, stopped, near a lamppost, and broke it with one savage strike of her paw, engulfing the area it lit in darkness, effectively covering their retreat... -----------------
Exits thread. Thank you all for excellent playing =)

Patamon held position in the air some distance away from Laurence. He was ready to attack again if the man reacted in any way, but it seemed that that wasn’t about to happen any time soon. He had taken the hit but now he was retreating. Good. Then his work here was done.
The sound of the sirens gradually grew louder and louder, ringing through the boy’s ears. A bright flash quickly followed, blinding Ishaan for a good few seconds while he rubbed his eyes with his fists in an attempt to gain his vision back quicker. He heard some more threats and words coming out of Laurence and Renamon’s mouths before they were finally gone, fleeing the scene.
As he regained his vision, the monk was surprised to open his eyes to see a weird orange creature, hovering in the air no more than a few inches from his face. The thing was staring at him with eyes opened huge and staring. Seemingly all at once, the preteen froze for a moment, jumped up into the air in shock as his heart skipped a beat, and then fell backwards onto the ground.
”Hi, the name’s Patamon,” the digimon smiled, landing right on Ishaan’s stomach as he lie flat on the ground. He, on the other hand, was speechless.

Tian wasn't sure what was going on at the moment, but apparently the appearance of these two new creatures was enough to make the older man to rethink what he was doing. The two attacks in combination allowed for one to hit while the more explosive one missed the man completely. The bullets that had been fired were easily dodged by the purple monster as it just dropped down below them. Well this is a rather interesting change of events. His eyes kept track of both new arrivals while watching as Renee, the fox, move in front of the man ready to attack them. It seemed like someone getting hurt was not going to be able to be avoided until the guy had told her to back off. He said that something about finishing this later right before taking a picture of them and then leaving the area.
After Tian felt that the man had been gone long enough to where he felt that they were truly gone, he decided to ask some logical questions that needed to be answered. "What the heck just happened here? Who was that guy? What are these things?" His questions were obviously directed toward Ling and Ishaan, but the purple creature flew down and landed on his head. He was not sure why the little creature was on his head, but he felt that nothing bad would come from it.
"A fight just happened. That guy was a psychotic weirdo. I am Tsukaimon. The orange version of me is Patamon. And the crazy monkey boy is Monmon. We are all Digimon. There all questions answered." With that being said, the little purple Digimon closed his eyes and started to fall asleep on Tian's head as all the excitement had left him tired.
With his questions being answered, Tian walked over to see how the others were handling the situation. He had only jumped in at the end, so he wasn't sure if they had previously been injured by that man. "Are you guys alright?"

Now that the man was gone, Ling quickly made her way over to Monmon, though her body was so sore it wasn't easy for her. She was surprised that she seemed to be the only one rushing over to him, especially after he had been shot in the foot by the man. Oddly enough though, once she arrived to him and bent down in front of him to examine his ankle, it seemed that the bullet hadn't penetrated through his skin. That was odd. It didn't seem that was a real gun.
She scooped her arms under the poor digimon, and held him in them. She still didn't understand what they were, or what Tsukaimon meant by the word Digimon, but it didn't matter. He was still human.... or something, and he was in need of help.
"Guys, we need to get out of here before we get in trouble."

Digi...mon... Digimon... The word had an odd sound to it, what did it even mean? Ishaan was fairly certain that these things weren’t animals, but he had never heard of anything called a Digimon before. Things were beginning to get stranger and stranger, especially since this thing on his stomach was just standing there and staring at him with its huge curious eyes.
“Pata...mon...? Nice to meet you, I think. My name’s Ishaan,” he smiled at the creature, albeit he was a bit nervous. But hey, it wasn’t as if it was trying to hurt him or anything, in fact it had probably played a part in saving the three of them from that man who was bothering them earlier. “Yeah, I’m fine,” the preteen responded, picking Patamon up with both of his hands before getting to his feet.
Glancing over to make sure Ling was okay as well, Ishaan noticed her picking up the weirdest one that almost looked just like a normal kid. But the blue creature said it was a digimon too so... whatever. And considering the sirens were getting even louder, he couldn’t agree more with what she was saying. He surely didn’t want to get in trouble. “Okay... but what do we do with these guys...?” he questioned, staring down at the orange digimon in his arms.

Tian could see that Ling was fine, and Ishaan had said that he was fine. The three of them each had a different Digimon near them now, which made Tian wonder if there was a particular reason. There are so many questions that need to be answered, but Ling is right. They can wait until we are safely away from this place.Tian looked around to make sure that there was no one that was going to follow them.
The sirens were drawing closer, which meant that an answer had to be made about Ishaan's statement quickly. "Since they did technically save us from that guy, I say the only honorable thing is to take them with us. We don't want to leave them out here alone if that man is going to come back for them." Tian grabbed Tsukaimon off of his head and held the little Digimon in his arms. It would be easier to move quickly with the creature secured in his arms.
"I am just not sure where we are going to take them. I seriously doubt that my mother is going to allow me to keep whatever he is in my room. She can be pretty understanding, but even she has limits." Tian was open to suggestions as this problem was relevant to all of them. He wasn't sure what either of their home lives were like, but he figured that carrying around a small little monster was not going to fly by any standards. They needed to come up with a good plan for what they were going to do.
