Monmon was looking death in the eye. He knew that there was no way of getting out of this. He couldn't even move his body. This was ridiculous. After having spent his entire life trying to get into the Human World, after finally having arrived there, it seemed he was about to be deleted, most likely to be loaded. Damn. If he could only move himself at least a little, then maybe he could dodge, but he couldn't. The attack was about to be fired. This is it...
Kerrrchink!
The attack made contact with something... metal? A girl, apparently Chinese, was holding a trashcan top and had come in between Monmon and the blast. The sheer force of the attack sent her flying off her feet and landing on her back. Granted, she was a great martial artist, but even she would be damaged from such an attack. The attack had gone straight through the metal top and nailed her in the center of the chest. She rolled onto her stomach and pushed herself up off the ground just a bit, though she couldn't stop herself from regurgitating.
"Ugh..."

- Huh? - Renee gasped in amazement as the human appeared out of nowhere, leaping between her and the target, taking the bullet for it, and, which was most amazing, surviving the shot. She was barely hurt, considering what the cannon was supposed to do, and that would be tearing the body to shreds. The foolish girl was pretty lucky, the renamon gave her that much, and pointed the gun at the human this time, still not very sure what to do.
Larry saw what happened from afar, and decided to interfere. After all, he didn't have the authority to hunt down humans, yet. His job was to exterminate digimon that spawn in this world. And Renee always seemed to be taking violence on a highly personal scale, rarely thinking of consequences. First she almost broke a child's back, and now this. Larry decided that something needs to be done about it - anger management perhaps?
- Do. Not. Shoot. The Human. - he commanded as he approached, gun armed and ready in his hands, in case things would take an unpredictable turn. He looked at the digimon, than at the girl. Both weren't in much of a condition to fight, however, his target was only the digimon.
- Do not interfere with affairs that don't concern you. The digimon will be destroyed, to prevent any more havoc they cause in this world. - his voice was monotonic, eerily calm, and somewhat frightening, and glasses gleamed in the moonlight, hiding the eyes completely. Mirroring her tamer's image, Renee's eyes glowed with icy - blue color, her face as still as a stone mask. Simultaneously, they both aimed their weapons at the monkey digimon...

"No concern of mine?... You're beating up an innocent kid. That's all of my concern."
Ling spoke crossly to him. She had no idea what he meant about a Digimon. She had never heard of a Digimon before, nor had she ever seen the television show or played the card game. All she saw right now, was a weird fox creature who was attacking an innocent child, and she wasn't just going to stand back and allow that to happen.
She couldn't hold herself up any longer and soon collapsed in her own vomit. It felt humiliating, but even being a martial artist and being accustomed to pain, she really couldn't do that much more right now. Monmon turned to face her. She was trying so hard to protect him, and now it appeared that it was all futile.
She needed to do something, regardless of whether her body would allow her to move or not. She felt like her insides were torn apart from the attack, but still, she'd do something. By sheer force of will, she slowly pushed herself back onto her feet.
"Don't touch him!"

- Moron. - Renee made a remark, her voice full of snide contempt towards the human. Instead of hiding in a ditch, without bothering people with her crap she decides to be hero, "saving the child" from "evil people". If only she knew it was the other way around, she'd probably understand such measures are necessary, to protect this world.
- 'Tis not a child, and not a human for that matter. It disguises as one to blend in with us, to spy on us. Hell, that's why you are here, aren't you, filthy scum?! - Larry almost shouted, struck by sudden "realization". From his point of view, it made complete sense, because why else would a digimon with such abilities be here? Hypnos will be let known about this.
- How many punishment you need to take before dropping your disguise, huh? Why are you here? Who sent you? Start talking ... now. - Larry hissed the last words out, and shot the digimon in the ankle. He had a lot of ammo left for an interrogation. Renee took a place between her tamer and the girl, in case she'd try something funny, and was perfectly ready to retaliate.
- Leave. Now.

Seemingly out of nowhere, a young preteen male appeared, running onto the scene. Sure, he didn’t exactly know the details about what was happening between Ling and the man, but there was one thing that he did know. Ishaan knew who this teenager was, the one who was apparently being attacked by some strange person. Well, he hadn’t known her very long, per say, but she was one of the first people he had met since he arrived in Japan. And that was something. “Ling...? What... what’s going on?”
Without even thinking, the monk sprung forward at Laurence, presumably hoping to succeed in tackling the man, or at least pushing him away... somewhere else. That was just it though, he didn’t know what he was doing at the moment. However, it was clear that a man with a gun was definitely dangerous, especially when he was pointing it at others who were quite simply defenseless. The nerve of some people, really. In the very least, the boy just hoped that he could distract this person, whoever he may be, until Ling and her friend were both okay and fleeing from his sights.

"ARRRGH!"
Monmon cried out in pain from the attack which had just hit his ankle. It was a terrible pain like he had never felt before, even being a digimon. Before now, he had thought that humans were weak, but he was apparently very very wrong. He wouldn't be able to take another attack like that. It was just cruel.
"How dare you! It doesn't matter who or what he is! What you're doing is WRONG!" Ling cried out to the man. Even though she was standing and had gained some level of movement back she knew she couldn't move swiftly enough to fight that Renamon, especially with that gun the Digimon had on her arm. There really wasn't much that she could do at this point, though she knew she'd have to try something... but what?

- Idiot. There's a war going on, and you think you can detract me from doing my duty. You had seen too much for your own good already... - Larry replied sternly, and upon his words Renee's fists and legs were engulfed in a raging inferno of blue flames after glowing in a ghostly blue light, making the silvery nightmare look even more threatening.
- This is my last warning. Hesitate and I will break your neck. You have 20 seconds to comply. - she said coldly, looking straight at the annoying human girl, who appeared so unexpectedly, and was wasting so much of their time. They could have been on their way home right now, but nooooo, instead of shooting the pest, they now have to indulge in pointless diplomacy...
Larry, upon receiving no coherent answer to any of his questions, wanted to shoot off another limb, and already aimed his gun, but, suddenly ... got tackled. By some other kid. What the hell are all these people doing in the middle of the night at a CLOSED theme park anyway? Larry didn't have time to think on that, being pushed.
- Get away, you! - he exclaimed, wanting to hit the shiny bald head of the kid with the butt end of his pistol...

As his body fell into Laurence’s as he lunged at the man, Ishaan felt something collide with his head. He didn’t know what it was, but that didn’t mean it had hurt any less. “Agh!” the boy cried out in reaction to the pain the butt-end of the pistol had caused to his head.
Backing off, his feet took him backward some distance away from the taller male. Ishaan honestly didn’t know what he should do, what the correct course of action was for something such as this. If he tried to do anything further... the man might go so far as to fire his weapon at one of them, and he really didn’t want that to happen.

Tian was not sure how he had come across the scene before him where an older man was using a fox-like creature to attack some kids that he had seen before since he had first come to Tokyo. He wasn't aware of the circumstances that led to the man pointing his gun at some kids, but Tian did know that the younger boy was not going to need some assistance with the man. His current position allowed him to take in the whole scene, which would be vital to any aid that he was going to be able to offer them.
The young man's movement away from the bigger man did make things a little bit better, but not a whole lot. Tian was going to have to do something, but there weren't many options for him to choose from. All he had on him were his shoes to use as projectiles but they were going to be ineffective against a man with a gun. His eyes caught sight of something that looked like a rock, which was an odd sight to see in an amusement park. When he picked it up, Tian found that it was one of the balls used in the Milk Bottle gang. It was a lucky break for him, and he was going to take full advantage of it. Tian flung it at the man with the intention of it knocking the gun out of his hand. He wasn't very accurate with projectiles like he was with placing his strikes at an opponent.
Tian decided that his prescence would be known anyway, so saying something would not change anything."An adult playing with guns in front of children sets a bad example for kids. You should know better old man." Tian was not really sure how old the guy was, but he was definitely older than him so the commet still fit in his mind. It would probably being insulting to the other guy either way.

Wow... it seemed that help was coming from everywhere, and it was a good thing too. She had known that Ishaan had been somewhere around, considering that they had come together to have some fun, but Tian was there as well? Had he followed them? She couldn't think of any answers aside from the probabilty that he had been stalking them and hoping to rad them out on their teacher for sneaking out past curfew. In any case, it didn't matter at this point. All that mattered now was survival, and with him there, they had much more help.
Ling held her ground, still eying the fox-like Digimon. There wasn't much she could do in this condition, but as she looked ahead, it seemed the little boy, Monmon, seemed to be injured and unconscious. She knew that no matter what happened, she needed to get to him as quickly as possible and stop the demon fox creature from hurting him any further.
"Back away and let you kill an innocent person? I'm not like that," she said in a cold, yet confident voice directed at the fox Digimon.
"You guys are outnumbered and outclassed. You should retreat, or you'll be sorry that you didn't."
