The wizardmon felt that nothing out of obtaining a new magical wand could help him in this situation and decided to perform a suicidal attack on the fangmon. For the sake of the biyomon, for the sake of the human who got involved into this and for the sake of getting rid of a complete monster, he too charged against the fangmon with lightning flowing through his hands and caught the upper and lower jaws of the wolf with his very hands, releasing electric magic while took with his very body all the scratches and slashes of his foe's claws.
"Ugh.... I have to stop you ..."
He continued shocking his foe and enduring his attacks as he built up enough energy to unleash of this cruel creature a thunder ball right inside his mouth. Doing that he sacrificed his arms and hands as he let the furious and irrational monster chew and crunch them as he unleashed magical death on the wolf's very stomach, causing severe burns and probably frying his inner organs.

Finally, revenge. Fangmon enjoyed every moment of it, tearing off the wizardmon's arms, reaping through the body with his claws, wishing to make every last particle of the enemy's body suffer from horrible pain before finally dying. As he munched on the body of the wizard, who was loosing its humanoid shape at the frightening rate, being torn to pieces by claws and teeth, he did not expect the attack ... the last attack.
- AAAAAARGH! - the demon wolf screeched in pain, as the wizardmon launched the deadly lightning bolt right down his throat, frying the insides and causing horrible pain while at it. In a reflex, the wolf send the torn body of wizardmon flying away with the jerk of the head, and stood where he was, moaning from dull pain which came to replace the acute one from immediate attack, looking like he was going to both tear the world apart and spill his guts out. Maybe he was dying, maybe not, but he sure wanted to take someone else with him. And his eyes set o the girl...
- ... Next... - the monster gurgled out, making several steps towards the girl, looking like he was going to tear the girl into bloody shreds, but, suddenly, was distracted by a rather loud sound of brakes and the sound of a metallic door opening... And saw the black-painted wan, which arrived from the mist like a ghost-truck...
Next moment out of the depths of the wan ... figures appeared. In the darkness of the night, in the moonlight, they looked like ghosts, like dark silhouettes. All wearing black, faces hidden by the masks and aiming devices, with strange, sleek weapons in their hands. They slowly approached in line, and raised their guns simultaneously.
- Kill the vermin invader! Fire! - the commander spouted out an order, his voice so full of anger and hate towards the monsters he was seeing, and the soldiers shared the commanders mood pretty much. The next moment ... they fired...

The wizardmon was literally spat by the fangmon and landed not very far from the human girl and an intense soul breaking pain invaded his body as he struggled to stand up again.
He no longer could feel his arms and they hanged like the lifeless arms of a broken puppet on his shoulders. The rest of his body didn't fare any better: his back was covered with deep cut wounds and blood painted red his usually pale purple-ish skin, his clothes were nothing but torn rags and he could no longer be recognized as a wizardmon. What's more, the structural integrity of his data was compromised and fragments of his fractal code orbited around his fatally injured body as if demanding to be released from their broken shell to be used in the creation of a new life. He was dying and he knew that there was not much time left before his physical shell become data and his fractal code attempted in vain to reach the digital world.
"The ... biyomon ... it is safe?"
That was a question without answer. He tried to look for the biyomon, but his data and blood loss severely impaired all his sense and even the mere action of breathing was painful. He could only hope that the little bird escaped safely as he finally fell on the floor and data started flowing out of his body, a clear sign that he had very little time left to live. The last thing he felt before only pain filled his mind and his very body started to vanish into data was a strange voice saying "Kill the vermin invader! Fire!" and the sight of a group of armed humans, probably the nocturnal group of humans dedicated to hunt down digimon that the silver renamon mentioned before.
"Hey hey, don't sleep in the street. Demon slaying magician, come to my house and there I can cast a healing spell!"
The young human female poked the terminally injured digimon and pestered him with some useless RPG fantasy information. The wizardmon? He was too pained and his senses too weakened to even understand what she was saying.
"This ancient magical artifact is beeping louder and louder, is it related with you? hey hey answer answer!"
The girl pointed the D-arc at the dying digimon and light coming from the digivice engulfed the wizardmon, capturing whatever data was left of him and reformatting it into a form that could sustain data-based life with the limited amount of data left from him.
The combination of wizardmon's data and a small stread of additional data from the D-arc combined into a cocoon that wrapped around the wizard and eventually it dissipated revealing a smaller digimon than the original one: a Lunamon. It was clear by now that the wizardmon not only de-evolved but also was reformatted into a kind of digimon unlike what his previous rookie form used to be.
"Woow, that was amaaazing, you are a really powerful magical creature ... I'm going to call you Mir!"
The ex-wizardmon managed to hear some of her words, but his mind was still clouded by the pain and the reformatting and could speak no word. Not that his opinion actually mattered because now he was bounded to her new tamer and had no choice but to be with her.
He struggled to move his body and make sure the fangmon was dead for good, but he felt so weak that he couldn't do anything but lie on the ground, waiting for whatever fate prepared for them and unsure if this group of armed humans noticed him or not.

The bullet barrage smote the horrible wolf creature - humans sure knew how to aim right, their visors in masks helping to see through the darkness. Projectiles hit painfully hard, going deep into the flesh, engulfing the creature's mind in even more pain. A couple of well-aimed bullets hit the head, and, though unable to pierce the thick skull, delivered critical damage to the eyes of the creature, both of them.
Roaring from hate and pain, and sudden loss of both eyes, the blinded Fangmon gathered what little remained of his strength into one last, self-destructive charge. Shrugging off the bullets, the demon wolf dashed towards the line of the humans, jumping one of them, and plunging his teeth deep into warm flesh. The trooper didn't make a sound upon dying, and neither did his comrades, silently circling the monster who kept tearing the bloody chunks of meat from lifeless body, keeping pondering it with more bullets. One of the soldiers managed to spot the girl, but another digimon was out of his sight.
- Run, kid, run! - he exclaimed, before returning to empty one clip after another into the monster wolf, until it released it's last breath, and, having more holes in his body than cheese, collapsed unto the ground, finally disappearing into particles of data...

"Oh, those warriors killed the demon lord, this is fantaaastic!"
She wanted to get close to congratulate them for slaying the monster but they requested her to get away. She wondered why and thought that maybe they needed time to get from the monster's corpse the mandatory items that proved that they defeated it. It is simply common knowledge that demon lords always have nice treasures that they drop when they die.
"Hey Mir, let's go to my house, I want to learn more of this magic item that transformed you"
And so, she unceremoniously picked the lunamon as if it were a doll and dragged him to her home, thus marking the beginning of a beautiful friendship XD
Meanwhile, the fragments of the broken wizardmon wand refused to depart from this world and remained on the street of the city as mute witness of what was a terrible battle .... oh, and the lunamon still kept with him his custom made map, it somehow survived the attack of the fangmon and the reformatting of wizardmon's body

Biyomon didn't watch the entire horrible battle, being too scared most of the times to look out from the trashcan, which served as shelter most of the times. She did catch a glimpse of what happened from time to time, and managed to remember the human that came around at some point, but ever since wizardmon, her only protector, went down, his body torn to pieces, she refused to watch any more. The shouting, screeches and shooting went on for some time, until, finally, they became quieter, and disappeared. The sound of departing truck was heard, and the poor child finally decided it was safe to look out.
When she did, to her surprise, there was no one there. No human girl, no wizardmon, no monster wolf, no truck, no nothing. The place was just ... empty. As of nothing ever happened here. Maybe it was a hallucination? Maybe, but the scars remaining on the ground and the walls were telling otherwise. Biyomon got out of the trashcan, slowly walking towards the battlefield. She saw something lying on the ground, and wanted to see what it was...
It was the broken staff of the wizardmon. The birdie remembered it - and the moment when in was torn from the digimon's hands. She shivered at the fresh memory, it was still too frightening to remember that wolf's gaping maw, and jagged claws. But what happened to the wizardmon? Was he... The child didn't know, and picked the broken remains of once beautiful magic tool. Tears were falling down her cheeks. But maybe he did survive? Maybe the human saved him? Not sure, the biyomon wiped the tears, and, with the remains of the staff, and ran ... somewhere, anywhere, as far away from this horrible place as possible...
