Guilmon ran full speed down the path, with Takato just barely keeping up. They soon turned the corner and approached the playground, which was surrounded in thick fog. Guilmon ran right through, and Takato slid his goggles down and followed his partner in. What he discovered within, was not something he was expecting. Two digimon emerging at once. It wasn't unheard of, but it wasn't a frequent occurance either. Takato pulled out his digivice and looked up the two digimon. One was a Grizzlymon, the other an Akatorimon.
The Grizzlymon didn't appear immediately aggressive, but the Akatorimon was going ballistic on the playground equipment. Jeri and Gatomon weren't too far behind so they'd likely be able to deal with the Grizzlymon once they got here, but that Akatori attention now. "Guilmon, go after the Akatorimon!" Takato instructed. He then searched his deck, and pulled out a card to help his partner. "Digimodify! Power-Up Floppy Disk activate!" he called, swiping the modify card. With that card, guilmon grew... and grew, and grew, until he was just as tall as the rooster digimon he faced, and just as powerful for it. "Pyro sphere!" Guilmon growled, sending a fire ball flying toward the rooster.

"Takato! Guilmon! Wait up!"Jeri continued to run behind the duo as Gatomon moved beside her with all due speed. It appeared that as they continued to near the area in which the lizard was headed, the more foggy the surroundings became. But just as it appeared that they were nearing a location, Gatomon slowed down just enough to avoid a metal slide that came flying out of nowhere. That alone had caused Jeri to reel back, looking towards the direction in which it flew with pure terror in her eyes. Just what was waiting for them? Was it as dangerous as what she was starting to believe it to be?
"Lets keep moving!"
"Right.."Jeri continued down the path as she saw Takato and Guilmon were already in conflict with what appeared to be a giant chicken. But not too far away from that, was what looked to be a blue furred bear. Either way, each of these monsters were large and appeared to be really dangerous. The girl didn't even need to pull out her D-arc to tell her that much, but she found herself sliding to a stop as she reached into her pocket to reveal the holographic images of both digimon.  Level: Champion Attribute:Data Type: Giant Chicken Digimon  Level:Champion Attribute:Vaccine Type:Animal Digimon "Their both champion level digimon!?"This was really bad. If they managed to get out into the city, it could be serious trouble. But what exactly could they do? What if these digimon were simply lost? Maybe they could talk it out with them? Then again, these creatures didn't look like they were too much in the mood for conversation. Yet, could they really delete them without at least hearing their story? While Jeri appeared to be having a conflict with her morals, Gatomon just glared towards the large bear as she then looked towards Guilmon as he grew in size before attacking Akatorimon. She had to admit, she honestly wanted to fight the bird rather than the large animal that was ten times her size. But then again, the lizard had got there first, so beggars couldn't be choosers. Still, it was all in fun for her. Gatomon still would get a fight out of this and an interesting one at that. Of course, she wouldn't make a move intill Jeri gave her the word. "Jeri! Now isn't the time to worry about anything except for the bear!"The feline was right. They had to make a move before the Grizzlymon decided to shift its attention towards Guilmon. That being said, the young tamer nodded as she watched Gatomon dash off towards the champion digimon at full speed. As she ran, Jeri reached into her skirt pocket and pulled out a card of her own. Then, with one fluid motion, she scanned it down the side of her digi-vice. "Digi-Modify! Name: Platinum Sword

Effect: In order for this card to work, a digimon must have the Special Ability "Fight". A small broadsword is summoned into the digimon's hands, it's only about 3 feet or so in length, but it has a rather sharp edge.
Activate!!"Within moments, a broadsword appeared within Gatomon's left paw, shifting her weight somewhat to the side before she reeled her paw back so that it was now resting upon her back while she ran. It was somewhat heavy, but she adjusted to it's weight as much as she could before jumping into mid-air and attempting to slash the Grizzlymon from the side.

Akatorimon was enjoying the random destruction that he was causing in the park, but all this was disturbed by the fact that a rude dinosaur blasted him with a fireball. It sent him sprawling backwards into one of the pieces of equipment that he had previously been destroying. Now, he was really angry with this world and this dinosaur and his friend was going to pay the price for it.
"Turbo Rooster!" Akatorimon began to move at a much faster speed than normal as he ran circles around the Digital Field that was still around them. It was time to pay back the little dino the only way he knew how. "Scar-Red Eye! His eyes began to glow red right before two streams of fire came out of them aimed at Guilmon.

Grizzlymon was aware of the fact that Akatorimon was being engaged by someone, but he was not going to interfere with a fight that was not his concern. It was a fair fight at this point, and that was okay in his mind. He yawned until he heard someone yell head's up fuzzy. He looked up in time to see the Gatomon with a sword in her hand coming down on her.
It was time to test this new opponent in the ways of combat, which meant that no holding back even though he was much bigger than them. "Hammer Rush!" Grizzlymon's body moved very fast in order to make his right paw come at the incoming cat with enough speed that the blade barely made contact with him. The image of fur floating in the air showed that he had been hit. |

The Akatorimon was hit by Guilmon's attack, but he didn't seem much happier for it. In fact, he looked absolutely ticked. Takato watched on as the Akatorimon not only increased it's speed with its Turbo Rooster move, but also attack Guilmon with it's Scar-Red eye attack. Guilmon took the hit, but it didn't seem to do much damage at all to the dinosaur. Takato grinned. His previous card may have only put their power on even level, but it had also jumped Guilmon's defensive strength up two levels, to that of an ultimate. The Akatorimon wasn't going to be doing too much damage for a bit.
Of course, the Akatorimon's speed was a problem, but the overgrown rooster wasn't the only digimon who could speed up their game. "Digimodify! Speed activate!" said Takato as he swiped his speed card. Instantly, Guilmon sped up, and chased after the Akatorimon, and once he caught up to the digimon he raised his fist and aimed a rock breaker attack on him.

Reeling back after her attack, Gatomon held the sword within both her paws, smirking as she saw some fur floating within the air. She had made contact, but she didn't think it was too much of a hit. After all, there appeared to be no show of pain or anything. If it had caused damage, the Grizzlymon would be roaring or something. Though she wouldn't count herself completely safe, it was a large digimon with a lot of power backing him up.
"Not bad....I really didn't think you'd attack in time to counter that...Won't be so lucky next time..."
Jeri continued to watch this, unsure of what else she could do to help. From what it appeared, the two digimon were dead even. Although, she couldn't help but be somewhat nervous about the size of the opposing digimon. It was likely that he was the strongest out of them, so Gatomon would have to try and evade him as much as possible. Yet, that seemed to be the opposite of what she was doing. In fact, Jeri couldn't even believe what her partner was saying.
"Gatomon! Don't upset him!"

Akatorimon was very peeved by the fact that his attack had not done the amount of damage that he had hoped. Now he was really going to take this dinosaur down if it was the last thing that he did. Guilmon's attack would have impacted with him if Akatorimon had not waited to move at the last second to dodge to the left. Even if Akatorimon couldn't do any damage to Guilmon, he wasn't just going to lay down and die.
Besides, there were other moves that he good employ that would distract his opponent long enough for Akatorimon to gain the advantage. "Melting Aura!" He opened his mouth and spewed flames across the entire area, which would hit anyone that was on the ground like lava flowing through an island village.

Grizzlymon could tell that the smaller Digimon was indeed experienced in the ways of battle, but he did not believe that she was on the same level as him. The fact that she was trying to use a weapon that was pretty much the same size as her seemed to be misguided in nature. Usually, size was a great factor in Grizzlymon's fights, but the way Gatomon moved made him think that she could dodge almost any attack that he threw directly at her. This meant that he was going to have to be more creative in nature.
He was about to launch an attack at the smaller Digimon when Akatorimon made his flaming mood, which Grizzlymon felt was interfering with his own battle. "You insolent bird. I will not tolerate anyone messing with my honor. Whirlwind!" Grizzlymon opened his mouth and roared, which had the effect of blowing the flames back in the direction of Guilmon and Akatorimon. The bear turned back to Gatomon, and stared at her. "Now where were we? |

Takato kept all his cards at the ready. His power-up floppy disk was about to go, and he'd need to be ready to help Guilmon when he became vulnerable again. Unfortunately, Guilmon's previous attack had missed, and now the Akatorimon was spewing magma onto the grown. Takato backed, off out of the magma's range, quickly swiping another card. "Digimodify! Fly Away activate!" He said, and six luminous wings sprouted from Guilmon's back, and the giant lizard took flight, just avoiding the magma. Combined with his speed, he was like a giant reptillian bee. Guilmon circled the rooster from above for a moment, before divebombing him, arm raised to strike the bird as he crashed into it.

Effect: The Digimon acquires the Special Ability "Fly". This will give the digimon the ability to fly. Digimon may gain wings when this card is used, but the transformation is different from digimon to digimon. This card has no effect on a digimon who is already has the ability to fly.

Jeri and Gatomon shared the same stunned expression as they watched the bear digimon blow back the magma in the direction from which it came. Not only that, but it seemed to do so with little problem before returning its attention back to them calmly. This was going to be tough, and neither of them needed to look at each other to realize this. But while Gatomon remained stead fast, Jeri slowly took a step back, holding her hand to her heart. Fear was apparent upon her face while memories of death seemed to flash before her eyes.
Gatomon.....
The white furred digimon smirked as she laughed lightly before rushing in once again. Moving in a zig zag pattern, the digimon spun herself around as she attempted to slash at the Grizzlymon with a wide swing.
"We were at the part where I gave you another haircut!"

Grizzlymon was proving to be more trouble than Akatorimon had previously anticipated as he was interfering with the flaming attack that the Bird Digimon had sent out across the park. It didn't seem to matter that Akatorimon had endangered everyone with that attack, which was probably something that the rooster was overlooking at this point. "Watch yourself furball or I will burn you into a crisp." Its eyes were fiery as it was preparing for another assault, which was interrupted by the impact from Guilmon's attack. The giant rooster began to feel dizzy from the impact before collapsing on the ground.

Grizzlymon was not intimidated by the bird's words as he knew that there was no threat to his existence from any of them at this point. He was more than capable of defeating anyone who came his way, and he was ready to prove that. The little cat seemed to feel the same way about herself as she came at him without any hesitation in her eyes, but her courage was not going to be enough to win this fight. Grizzlymon could see the fatal flaw in every enemies attack, and Gatomon's was her choice of weaponry to fight him.
"A little less hair is nothing compared to what shall happen to you. Cyclone Claw!" He ran at her in a straight line before lunging at her with his forepaws aimed outward as his body began to spin like a vortex that would cut anything that was in its path. This fight was only going to be a slight challenge with the added factor of the tamers, but Grizzlymon was sure that it would not be that much different than a normal two on one battle.

The Akatorimon had gotten distracted by the Grizzlymon's rebuke to the rooster digimon's Melting Aura attack, and guilmon had scored a direct hit Akatorimon, who had collapsed to the ground. On the flip side though, the power up floppy disk's effects had ended after that, and guilmon shrunk back to his normal size and strength. They still had to finish this bird off though. Guilmon took aim at the fallen bird. "Pyro Sphere!" He roared, and fired an orb of fire at the Akatorimon.
