Episode 2: The Hunt [Closed]

Jeri looked towards Perris with a blank expression. She wasn't sure if she should leave him and Kotemon to try and get home by themselves. After all, it would be quite the task for the small rookie to support someone as big as Perris. At least with her helping, they would have some what of a better chance.

Jeri then smirked as she quickly walked over to Perris, placing his arm around her shoulder as she held him up. If there was one thing she was, it was stubborn, she couldn't just leave them like this. Especially after all they had done to help her.

"Don't be silly! Besides, Im already in trouble, the least I can do is help you get home ok..."

Perris gave a sigh, he wouldn't convince Jeri to go home would he. He gave a small smile, this would probably be fun if his grandfather was awake. He then felt something warm and supporting. He looked down to his side to see Jeri holding him up.

Perris closed his eyes, so no matter what he did, Jeri would and already was in trouble. He didn't want her to get in more trouble, but if she insisted, he shouldn't fight back...right? Or was he just thinking that for some other reason. If he was, what was the reason? Ugh, he need to say something....

"Thanks Jeri....." said Perris closing his eyes again and feeling a slight breeze. He then opened his eyes again and said, "Lets go then. Ready?" Perris then started to move hoping Jeri would follow.

Kotemon tilted her head a little before giving a smile behind her mask. Her tamer was a good person and his friends were good people to. Maybe her stay in the digital world might not be as bad as the other digimon had said...

Kotemon then slowly stared to follow Jeri and Perris helping whenever she was needed.

"Ok"

Jeri then began to slowly take steps towards the exit of the park, looking at the boy with a smile as she continued to support his weight as best she could. It was a good thing that his other leg was ok, otherwise this would have been an impossible task. But as they neared the exit point, the girl let out a giggle as she remembered something.

"I just remembered, I have no idea where you live. So maybe you should give directions as well?"

Perris could feel the smiling face of Jeri looking at him. He knew that he was heavy so he had shifted most of his weight to the other side of his body. After all, he didn't want to throw somebodies back out.

Perris turned to Jeri when she giggled saying that she didn't know where he lived. Perris gave a chuckle and said, "Oh suppose not, Okay, You go that way, then this way, and that way, and then your there. Don't worry, though I know the way pretty well, but the major way to know you getting close is when you start getting close to the park."

Kotemon took quick notes in her head, she too needed to know the way to Perris' house if something happened. As Perris finished explaining the way she nodded and looked at the two tamers. They both seemed....happy?

The girl then nodded as she grinned towards him. That answered that question, at least now she wouldn't end up walking aimlessly around, not having the slightest idea as to where to go.

"Thanks! For a second I thought I would end up taking you all over the neighborhood before I would actually find it..."

It appeared that Jeri was indeed happier. Almost as if a weight had been lifted from her, one that had been holding her for years. Yet, while she was more cheery, her thoughts were still upon the events that had occured. Had she really just made up the idea of a Gatomon helping her, or was there infact one roaming around somewhere near by? Maybe it didn't matter, for now, she continued in helping to guide Perris home.


"He he he...Already in trouble huh? Lets see if I can't fix that..."

Far away from the now departing trio was a feline like creature. She stood upon her two legs and grinned as she quickly realized that time was short, and that this form was nearing its end. Yet, the Gatomon appeared to be heading towards the direction of Jeri's house.
