It didn't take long before Jeri would slowly start to stir within her sleep. Her eyes fluttered for a moment, and then slowly opened half way, leaving her with a somewhat dazed expression. As she looked around her in confusion, she could see no sign of Sangloupmon, or have the small creature that had helped her...She was alone..
No, at her side was Perris, and not to far from him was Kotemon. They were still here, but why? Were they worried about her? Maybe they were friends now? Even though they had only just met, he had stayed with her for this long...
"You....stayed?
Jeri looked up towards Perris with a blank expression as she then noticed her digi-vice within her hand. It was brand new, just like it had been in her head. So was all that real? Was she a tamer again, if so then where was....
"Gatomon..."

Perris had fallen asleep in the silence only to be awaken by Jeri starting to stir. He opened his eye realizing that his leg was still cut, at least it had stopped bleeding. But the blood had flowed down his leg, and he reeked of blood. His grandfather would ask him what he did tonight....He would have to make a good excuse other than bread.
Perris turned to look at Jeri as she asked if he stayed. Quite obviously he stayed....He was there, but he knew that she meant, 'why did you stay'. Perris that it was a pretty simple question really. He was friends with her, or so he thought anyway. Plus, it wouldn’t be good to leave a girl all be herself knocked out at night. That could lead to many wrong situations.
“ I wouldn’t be a friend if I left you her by your lonesome, now would I?” said Perris giving Jeri a smile only to notice that she was looking at her digivice. Perris then said, ”Your digivice suddenly started to glow awhile ago and became like this….”
Perris then heard her say Gatomon. Wasn’t Gatomon the digimon Kari had? Whatever, not the time for that, she had a reason to why she said Gatomon. Did something happen that he didn’t know about? Perris looked at Jeri and said. ”Gatomon?”
Kotemon gave a happy aura the minute Jeri woke up, she was safe, that was good. Unlike Perris though. It seems like Perris was holding his leg without even realizing it. She would probably have to clean the wound out and bandage it up so that it didn’t get infected.
Kotemon jumped down from her branch and said, ”I-I’m glad to see t-that your alright….”

As Perris questioned the name she had stated, Jeri continued to look at her digi-vice, trying to make sense of it herself. In truth, she wasn't completely sure why she had seen Gatomon, but maybe she had been meant to find her, yet in all the time she had lingered in her regret, she was unable to reach her...
"While Sangloupmon was in my head...a Gatomon came and helped me get free. But..."
The girl then looked up from the device and smiled towards Perris while shaking her head.
"Maybe she was just there to help me...Because...Leomon couldn't. I don't know how to explain it..."
Jeri looked up towards the night sky, then turned her attention towards Kotemon as she spoke. She smiled back towards her, nodding her head slowly as she attempted to stand up. Somehow, it had gotten colder all of a sudden, that was when she realized that she was without her jacket. Wrapping her arms around her chest, the girl looked towards Perris with a concerned glance, remembering his leg.
"Are you going to be ok? Your leg..."

Perris looked at Jeri as she stood up talking about the things that had gone on her head while he and Kotemon stood helplessly there believing in her strength. But her smile calmed him down as he finally realized that he was holding on to his leg. He quickly stopped hoping that she hadn't noticed.
Perris slowly stood up with every movement sending a wave a pain through his entire body. But he didn't mind at all, he gave a sigh as he looked around the huge place. It really had got messed up.....It would be best for them to leave before they got caught by police or something.
He noticed that Jeri was looking kind of cold and took of his jacket and handed it to Jeri with a smile. It was feeling pretty warm right now. To him. And then she asked him....He had hoped that she hadn't seen him holding his leg, but it seemed like she had. "Oh, it's nothing, I'm completely and utterly fine." said Perris giving her a convincing smile.
Kotemon tilted her head a little bit before saying, "Really...It looks like it hurts....and you've been holding it for awhile" Kotemon then went up to Perris and poked the area of the cut. Perris eye twitched a little as he fought back the agonizing scream that he had in his throat. He had to play it off like it was nothing, after all, from what he got from Sangloupmon Jeri, she would blame herself.

Jeri could tell that the boy was in pain, which made her feel even worse that this was due to her being so careless as to not move out of the way of Sangloupmon's attack. Wrapping his jacket tighter over her shoulders and body, the girl turned her gaze to the side, looking at the ground as a sad expression emerged over her face as she closed her eyes.
Her thoughts reflected back to what Leomon had said, but this wasn't about the past, this had just happened now. How could she not feel bad about this? Yet, she knew that she would have to let herself be forgiven, or pray that Perris and Kotemon could forgive her.
"Im sorry...."
Her tone was soft, yet gentle, matching the small breeze that blew her hair somewhat to the side of her face, covering her pale skin with its crimson strands.

Perris looked as she turned her face to the ground. Perris tilted his head a little before moving so that he could see her face. He then noticed that her smile had turned into a face of sadness. Closing her eyes completed the look of sorrow on her face.
Even though he tried to spare her the pain of thinking it was her fault.....Did he make it worse trying to cover it up? Would she have been more happy if had told her the complete utter true that it hurt like crazy? He didn't know....There was no way to know now. But he had to look into the future instead of his possible mistake in the past.
'I'm sorry...' said Jeri. Perris tilted his head slightly and felt the cool breeze. The cool breeze was calm and cool, yet it has had a gentle side to it. He could hear the winds soft howl as it moved through his hair and Jeri's hair. The atmosphere...felt calm.
Perris gave a sigh and said, "Jeri, there's nothing to be sorry about okay, just show me a smile, okay. I'm sure that will take the pain away. Perris didn't truly know what he was saying, well, not the ending part anyway, but the beginning, was all true. There was no reason for her to feel sad, he did it of his own accord, it wasn't if he had to.
Kotemon looked at her tamer and Jeri and felt like it was a 'moment' for the two to be alone. She gave a sigh and said, "I-I'm gonna go see if I see any police or anything....You know, d-do to the noise and stuff."
Kotemon jumped into the highest branch that she could and started to scan the area again...Hmmm.....She wondered who and where was this Gatomon that Jeri was talking about. If Gatomon was her partner, she was bound to be around....right?

Jeri quickly turned her face so that she was looking at Perris. Her face held no expression, she was still trying to figure out what exactly the boy had just said, but as soon as it registered, she giggled. Removing her hair from her face, the girl managed a small smile as she placed her hands behind her back.
"Well, if it helps...But I really think we should try and get your leg wrapped up..."

Perris still didn't understand the words he had said to the fullest. He had just said what he felt was right at the moment. Perris looked away slightly as he began to actually put thought into what he said. The minute Jeri giggled, he got what he said. He's face turned into a beet red color and looked away until his face was back to normal color.
When Perris turned back to Jeri she was giving him a small smile and had her hands behind her back. Perris gave a smile back at Jeri and listened to wait she said. He looked down at the leg, it was still in pain, and he had got a little dirt in it. He would probably have to clean it so it didn't get infected, but getting it wrapped up also would help with the pain, and the problem of an infection. Perris looked at Jeri and said, "Yeah, we should probably get my leg up."

While Jeri knew that he had begun to blush, but decided to pretend not to notice. After all, her focus was on getting Perris somewhere he could get better. Yet, there was still one other problem, the fact that she ways probably in a world of trouble.
She knew that by now it was somewhere between 12:30 and 1:00. This meant that her family's tavern had all but emptied, and her parents would soon retire upstairs to check on Mashiko and herself. Once they realized that she wasn't there, her father would go into a panic, her step-mother would call the police, and there would be a neighborhood search for her within 30 minutes. Not only that, but as soon as she got home, she would be grounded and most likely scolded for going out so late without a word to anyone.
"I guess I'll have to risk it. The least I can do is help Perris get home. He saved my life after all..."
As Jeri thought about this plan, she continued to smile towards the boy as she then turned her gaze towards Kotemon while she scanned the area for any incoming police cars or worse.
"Then we better get you home then...So that we can do that..."

"Oh no, Jeri, I couldn't ask you to do that. Just go home. I'm sure your rents are worrying about you, or are going to. said Perris looking at Jeri. He really didn't want to get in trouble on his account. He would manage to get home with his leg somehow.
Still though....If he showed up this late at night with a girl......His sister would probably get the wrong idea....and his grandfather....NOT his grandfather. He would go on and on about the 'Thomas' gene and such. Who REALLY did not want anyone to see that.
Perris gave a small smile and said, "Just go ahead home, Me and Kotemon will manage."
Kotemon then jumped down at the moment she heard her name. She then looked at Jeri and said, "D-Don't worry about it...W-we can handle it....probably..." She made sure to say probably as quietly as she could so that Jeri could only catch a few parts of the word if she listened.
