Ancient evils have been awakened..
Three ancient digimon have been plotting, planning, and preparing for years on end, and now they've done it. The three digimon, Pharoahmon, Anubismon, and Reapermon, have resurrected the long-gone Demon Lords and given them to unsuspecting humans. The Demons' tamers are just tools for evolution, just so that the digimon can get stronger and stronger. It won't be much longer until the same threat that had nearly destroyed the Digital World a thousand years back is unleashed again.
The Sovereigns, however, play a role in this too. They've recruited four humans, one per Sovereign, to listen to and fulfill any orders the powerful digimon give. These tamers are known as the Chosen, and have the most experience of being a tamer out of all of the others. Together, the Chosen and the tamers will face this evil that threatens not only the Digital World, but the Real World as well.
