Chance encounter [Tsuki, Mini, Kazai]

Tsuki continued to stare at the hand until Dex moved it away, giving up on shaking her hand. She looked back down as she heard the Tapirmon laugh a little at his trainer. The two did tend to bicker alot but she supposed it meant that they had the makings of a good partnership. She wondered if she could have a digimon partner....it would be something she could hold over her twin. But she wouldn't be a good tamer.

Tsuki retured the other's stare as he began to stare at her eyes again, it didn;t really bother her, must be something of a habit for him. Her eyes deturred from his as they landed on the small digimon who warned his partner. She turned back to Dex as he apologized for his staring. She nodded to accept his apology.

Tsuki Observed the cards that were shown to her and listen to the twos request that she help them, or at least Desmond, who know nearly nothing about the digimon or the cards. She thought deeply about it. She wasn't much of playing with the cards, she mostly played herself in a differnet deck, Not to mention her self seperation from any human beings. But again, she was...needed...somewhat. She had never been needed before...It made her feel....good.

Before she could answer him she felt a sudden chill and noticed a strange newcomers and silenced immediantly.Her stare grew icier as she noticed the pair had digimon with them, "Dorumon, the digital or unknown digimon. DemiDevimon, A lesser evil digimon," she recited automatically before turning to Desmond. "No....I believe you may need my help....how are you going to fight without knowing how to direct you digimon if they become hostel?" She said one of the longest sentence spoke yet. As she looked determined to the others standing beside Desmond.

((...I just imagined Tsuki in one of those analyzer windows from persona xD Ive been playing that too much.))

"Of course it does!" Dex responded, nodding his head "The more data a digimon possesses within them, the stronger that digimon becomes. Its common knowledge. I would have thought you would have known that, living in the digital world for so long... Besides, the act of obtaining the data strengthens you by itself. You don't get better at fighting just by sitting around. And above all..." A devious little smirk appeared upon Dex's face, and he chuckled a bit "Its fun."

Minato lifted his head as he saw the humans and the digimon coming up. True, perhaps they knew something about their target, however, by the way they were acting, he could tell they probably wern't egar to interact with them...

"Well, perhaps they do... but something tells me they wont be too thrilled to help us out..." He shrugged, his hands in his jacket pockets "Lets see if they are willing first, and if things go badly, im sure Dex here would be more then happy to relieve him of his digimon..."

"Indeed I would Mini..." Dex responded, chuckling to himself "Indeed I would..."

The boy could not help but adopt the same devious smirk that his partner had. He could see those gears turning, and could tell he was already hoping for things to go badly, devising just how he would take the little digimon down...

[Ling]

"Hmmm... I suppose..."

Kazai really wasn't that interested in absorbing them for data. Being human, even though she lived in the Digital World, absorbing data would do nothing for her, and DemiDevimon couldn't care less about the benefits from Data. He believed that it was the companionship between a human and a Digimon that took a Digimon to the next level, although he wouldn't hesitate to absorb data that was easily taken. It was just the idea of going out of his way for it, unless it was an order, was foreign to him.

"Well, either way... It's two Digimon on one," DemiDevimon stated to his comrades. "It'd be pretty pathetic if we lost a fight with those odds."

Kazai nodded. It sounded as though they were going to fight regardless of what she thought, not that she had strong objections to it, especially if the rest of them wanted to fight. She pulled her Digivice out from her purse, holding it in one hand with her deck of cards in the other. It was obvious that she was preparing for a fight, but she wouldn't get involved unless it turned out Dex needed her help.

[Eizer]

"Evil Digimon eh? That can't be good." Desmond swiftly turned his attention toward the Demidevimon before looking back at the girl beside him. It seems that it was going to be a two on one. Unless their tamers are crazy unless to jump into the fray themselves. However, he highly doubt it. On the other hand, Tsuki seems to be rather knowledgeable about Digimons so it could make up for being double-teamed.

"Alright then, just don't get too close to lil' Chubby when he's go commando on these two." said the tamer while smiling to the girl. "Hey Chubs, think you can handle this?" Tapirmon didn't answer right away. To be honest, he wasn't so sure about the odds or actually winning. But he wasn't going down without a fight neither. On the good side, both of them were Virus type Digimon so his Virus Buster attack will work more efficiently.

"Play your card right and maybe we'll go on to the next level if you know what I mean." The two of them smiled at each others after saying these words. Both of them were using humor to mask their ever increasing stress. "Hey Tsuki," whispered Desmond to the girl. "Who do you think is the more dangerous? The flying bat with the oversize mouth or the evil Barny the dinosaur?"

It would seem that the duo would most likely wait for an attack rather than jumping head on against the two others. And considering that poor Chubby was outnumbered, it might as well be the best option... For now. "It's going to be a long, long night." whispered the Tapirmon.

Tsuki silently watched as they two pairs approach them obviously ready for a fight. She did wish that she too, had a digimon partner to even the odds, It was going to be tough battle, She looked over the battlefield carefully and noticed that the tamer with the Dorumon looks like they were going up first and the DemiDevimon was back up. She tried to remember the attacks and what to expect but she couldn't really grasp it.

Tsuki also observed the two 'trainees' despite just meeting each other, the seemed to be pretty comfortable. She would like to command Tapirmon herself but she knows that she needs to let Desmond do it, he was his partner. She was also teaching him so she can't just say what to do to him either, he did need to learn himself, she can't do it for him.

Annoying, looks like they were waiting for them to start, a normally clever move but it could work in their advantage. "Keep your opponent guessing, reveal only what is needed and use it only when you need to...I wish for you to develop your own style but there is no time for that now...It would be wise to start with a long distance wide area assault, and try to split them up just in case they develop any combined attacks." she said, silently enough so Desmond and Tapirmon could hear.

In a near by tree a shadowed ans silent figure watched on in interest as the young Tapirmon was going to take on a Dorumon and a DemiDevimon. But it's interest was solely fixed onto the the young girl without a digimon partner. "You....are the one." it whispered as it's silver eyes shining from the darkness of the shadows. "It....has begun."

Mini sighed. It seemed they wern't gonna approach them. Were they really that scared of them? Looks wern't everything... of course, with Kazai getting her deck of cards ready, they did give off the wrong (In Dex's case, the right) impression...

"Hey." Mini said, greeting the group with a raised hand "I see you got a digimon of your own there. We happen to be looking for one. Have you happened to see it around here?"

"About... this high? This wide? Rather annoying squeaky voice I would assume, as I havn't met the puffball personally?" Dex continued off his partner, motioning with his paws in an attempt to get Calumon's dimensions right. Sure, their tone of voice he was using sounded harmless enough, but it was obvious from Dex's eyes that he was in a predatory state of mind, and kept glancing down to the Trapirmon.

"Its... rather important we find the little guy." Mini added in, trying to keep the attention on him rather then his partner "Its a big scary world out there. We gotta look after him..."

[Ling]

Kazai merely listened to Dex and Mini as they spoke to the trio before them. They seemed to be getting everything done decently enough. As such, Kazai spent this time to sort through her deck, picking three cards that seemed to be good in the case of a battle. She then placed her deck back inside of her purse, only holding those three cards and her Digivice now.

DemiDevimon continued to rest perched atop of her head. He gave a sinister smirk to Tsuki as he almost stared at her. He wondered why the two of them were hanging out if she didn't even have a Digimon. His speculation was that it was possible she had a Digimon whom just hadn't made himself present yet, but could be somewhere nearby. He was only making speculation on this. He simply wondered why Dex and Tapirmon would even bother talking to someone who didn't have a Digimon.

Desmond began staring at the other boy as he raised his hand. He then proceeded to tilt his head to the other side before licking his teeth before directing his attention to the Digimon called Dex. He waited for them to stop talking before looking at both the Demidevimon and his Tamer who seems to be quite eager to battle. On his side, Chuuby just kept staring at the Dorumon.

"Puffball eh?" nonchalantly said the Tamer, "I didn't see any Puffball round' here. Unless you mean good old Chubby. Did you saw one Chubs?" Desmond didn't moved one bit when he asked the question to his partner, his attention was riveted to the other girl with her cards in hand. The Dorumon did seem as dangerous but his tamer did seem more inclined to talk. As for the girl, not so much.

"Nope, ain't no Puffball on my side neither." It was rather clear that Chubby didn't trust any of the four newcomers. On the other hand, Desmond wasn't much more relaxed. His left hand was still holding his three cards while he began reaching for his Digivice with the other one. Of course, he had no real idea of their effects, but he was sure that it would be wiser to have them ready just in case.

"But eh, why you guys are looking for Puffball? I mean, lil' Barny there did say that you never met the guy before eh?" Again, his voice was quite nonchalant and said in a lazy way. He turned his attention back to the boy who raised his hand while lifting his left eyebrow. "What's so important bout' the lil' Puffball?"

Tsuki watched impassively as the others conversed, She thought about the digimon stated, a small 'puffball' Hm...not very good description. most young digimon are puffballs. She sighed again as she looked around . her eyes landing on the DemiDevimon who was giving her a very evil look, most likely for the fact she was Digimonless. She gave a a nonchalant look back not caring what they thought of her.

Tsuki's attentions then was directed to her...acquaintances as they decided to answer them, although...it was obvious that it might come of rude and annoying to the other tamers. Especially calling the Dorumon 'Barney'...well that might aggravate them into attacking, and she would be in the crossfire...great. Tsuki blinked at the foolish tamer and sighed, knowing that this could turn as ugly as a Dragomon.

"That wasn't a good description, more than half young Digimon have that appearance and personality. It is quite a useless basics, anything special on it? Markings, horns, wings? A name, perhaps?" she asked monotone, Voice portraying no emotions as usual. Maybe she would know the digimon from the card series or not. She was curious why the two tamers, with digimon of their own look for one either already with a tamer or on it's own.

BARNY? The fur on Dex's back stood up and he glared at the boy before him. He did not like getting talked down to like that. He would not stand for it. Sure, they would try and talk things out some more, but even if they did get the information they needed from this guy, he still was going to beat the brats digimon into tiny particles of data, and perhaps after seeing the carnage he could work on his beloved partner digimon the boy would run away before Dex could inflict any bodily harm to him.

Mini could sense his partners aggrivation, and calmly put his hands in his pockets, seemingly nothing, but within his pockets he was gripping his digivice and cards, knowing things were not going twords a nice clean ending like they had hoped.

"His name is Calumon, if you must know." Mini responded to the girls question, his voice doing well to hide the thoughts running through his head. He doubted that the girl would know if the digimon though. From what he had been told, Calumon wasn't actually a digimon in the strictest sense. "I think he has some type of odd mark on his forhead, white fur, and his ears get bigger or smaller if hes happy or sad..."

Kazai and DemiDevimon continued to watch from the sidelines, not interfering for now, but preparing for what might come...
