Gaomon was hit hard from Gatomon's attack which was evident from the red mark on his chest. The pain was very sharp but he would get over it, there was a lot worse out there. He was going to win this battle! With Nova's help there was no way he could lost, he had a tamer and that made him tons stronger than every other digimon out there. Gaomon was also in the mood for a battle now! He could see that Gatomon was in pain and he was going to take advantage of this moment. Gaomon dashed towards Gatomon at full speed, not knowing what he was going to do next.

"Fly Activate!" Nova said as he activated the Fly Away card before Gaomon could reach Gatomon. He was sure Gaomon knew what to do with the card's abilities and he knew that they would win this battle but at what cost? Was killing this digimon worth what she had done to them, was it worth the moments she antagonized them?

Wings erupted from Gaomon's back and he knew what to do instantly. He would grab Gatomon while she was vunerable, take her to the sky, and throw her to the ground with full force! This was going to work and they would get rid of this insult to all digimon! He would eliminate her!

As the Gatomon was sent falling towards the ground, she quickly flipped herself upright, causing her to land on her feet, glaring upwards towards the Gaomon as she smirked to at him. It had definatly been a good attempt to surprise her, but he obvious had not heard the saying about cats landing on their feet.

Reeling her paw back, she quickly disappeared as she would show reappear inches away from the floating rookie. But, something had changed about her approach, in fact, her eyes had taken a pinkish glow to them as she stared directly at Gaomon. She was silent for a moment, but then she shouted out her move.

"Cat's eye Hypnotist!"

Nova knew what Gatomon was trying to do but Gaomon didn't. It was dumb of the cat to use that attack even before Gaomon had completly landed. Gaomon did not know of the attack that was about to commence upon him and landed obliviously in front of the cat. Nova did what his instincts told him to do and he shouted.

"GAOMON!!!!!" Nova shouted as loud as he could hoping that Gaomon would look at him before looking at the cat but he was a little too late.

As Gaomon landed he had barely looked into Gatomon's eyes that he heard Nova shouting and he looked away but the moment of eye contact had affected Gaomon a little bit. He couldn't use his wings anymore and the card was wasted and he also felt a lot slower now tha the effects of Nova's card had worn off.

"Thank you Nova.....again!" Gaomon said looking at Nova, he understood what Nova had done and was happy that nova had shouted at him. Gaomon could feel himself getting a little slower than usual due to the cat's attack but he still retained his reflexes and power which he would use to the max. Now it was just waiting......to see what the cat would do next.

Landing some distance away from the digimon, the feline instantly realized that her attack had not been as successful as she had hoped. With her options become fewer by the moment, Gatomon began coming to terms with the truth infront of her. Human and Digmon bonding...is a blessing.

Could I....really have been so blind?

Thinking to herself, she laughed to herself as she suddenly began to feel pain all over her body. She had reached her limit, at least the limit given to digimon without tamers. The digimon was going to fade, but to where? If this was the real world, how could her data be reborn into the digital world? Would she just...be dead?

I guess I deserve this....for being so foolish as to think that digimon and humans could never be together. Seeing what I do now, I realize....that its meant to be...

Closing her eyes, the feline then placed herself into a fighting position as she opened her eyes and smiled as a tear fell down her face.

"Lets end this Gaomon! One last strike....and its over....for one of us!!"

Reeling her paw back, she then charged forwards at regular speed. Her expression and stare towards her opponent were truly focused. She would put everything she had into this last punch...all her hopes, desires...everything...in one attack.

"Tackle Punch!"

Gaomon knew now what it meant to know the limit between power and strength. He now had the power and deep desire to delete this cat but he also had the strength to resist his desire to delete Gatomon. He wanted to talk to her, try to make her understand that she could stop fighting, that he did not want to destroy her.

"Gatomon......please stop this!" Gaomon shouted gently dodging her attack, his strength was fading, he could feel it. If Gatomon tried to attack him again, he would be forced to delete her; something Gaomon was not willing to do.

Nova understood perfectly what Gaomon was saying, he didn't want the feline to have to be deleted as that would the equivalent of having killed someone. Gaomon had made the right choice, he was going to allow the cat to get away, hopefully the digimon would understand and leave them peacefully.

"Gatomon, our anger came from you relentlessly attacking us but please you can leave now, unharmed for the most part........please leave....." Nova said moving closer to Gatomon in an attempt to make the feline understand him a little better.

Missing her target, she clumsly fell over onto her knees, looking in the opposite direction of the digimon and tamer as they spoke to her. Why were they talking to her like this? Like they actually....cared? Couldn't they just delete her and end it? She wanted to end...she wanted to go home. Even though she wasn't sure if dying in this strange place would produce the same results as it would in the digital world...but she couldn't take this place anymore.

"I...I don't care....I...I just want to go home..."

The tears began to build up once more as she rested her paws on the ground, head low as she clenched them into fist as she remained on her knees.

"Im...Im not meant to be in this place. Its hard enough not being able to fit in home...but here its impossible. One fight after another...screams and shouts..."

"Gatomon.......Join Nova and me! I promise I won't let anyone hurt you........and Nova would never make you fight, ever! Trust me......." Gaomon said lowering his defenses just a little bit, which meant that his fists were now adjacent with his waist and his face was looking towards Gatomon. If someone was to look closely, they would see the concern written on Gaomon's face. Gatomon was the first digimon he had encountered and he did not have the heart to destroy her anymore. Nova's views on life and Nova's attitudes towards life had changed the way Gaomon felt about battling, he would use his powers only to save lives.

All Nova could do now was smirk, he knew that Gaomon was doing the right thing. Nova was happy that Gaomon no longer had the instinct to just on sight, Gaomon was becoming a lot more rational than he had ever been. Nova moved closer to Gatomon, extremely close, and gave out his hand to her.

"Gatomon.....let's be friends! You'll never have to fight, if you don't want to.......like Gaomon said, we will protect you!" Nova said with an emotionless expression upon his face

Tears continued to fall from the feline's closed eyes. She was so confused, why wouldn't they just kill her? Why couldn't they just take her data and be done with it? Could they...really be telling the truth?

Slowly standing up, the Gatomon looked towards them for a second, eyes still filled with tears. Then, without warning, the cat took off running. She didn't look back, she just kept moving as fast as she could.
