Watching the World Go By(Open)

Jeri looked towards Diana and showed a small smile as she gently stroked the creatures head. She wasn't sure if what the digimon said was true, but she decided that it was best not to try and drag on the issue. After all, it just didn't seem like the time to talk about it, especially with someone she had just met.

"Its...ok...It was so long ago..."

The girl then looked down towards her D-Arc, almost as if she were seeing something within it. But to everyone else, it would just be her reflection staring back at her, one of a sad child who still mourned her lost friend...

Quickly wiping one of her eyes before they stared to swell, Jeri returned her gaze towards Luna, her smile returning as she listened to her speak of Rika. It definatly sounded like her, yet it had been awhile since she had spoken to her, or to any of the others really. Peace really did have a way of dividing forged friendships.

"That was Rika! But Im really surprised that Renamon was with her. Digimon haven't appeared here for two years..."

Diana closed her eyes briefly to allow Jeri to stroke her before she floated back over to Luna. "Ive been here since a few months ago." Diana said nodding. "If digimon havent been appearing since two years ago...why are they now appearing?" Luna asked folding her arms, slipping her digivice into her bag. It was so strange to her. "I was young when that big red blob attacked two years ago. My family evacuated and stuff..." She said nodding.

Jeri knew exactly what she was talking about. The D-Reaper, the program that had almost destroyed both the digital and real world. She still believed she was partly responsible for that too, but...No, she couldn't let herself think that way.

"You mean the D-Reaper...I remember..."

Closing her eyes, the image of a sock puppet appeared in her head. It looked like a dog, yet its eyes glowed an eerie shade of red, causing her to snap her eyes open. Her heart was beating rapidly, yet another memory best left forgotten.

"I don't know why digimon are reappearing after such a long time...Maybe Renamon or Rika know something though..."

As she thought about this she then questioned something else as well.

"If Rika found Renamon, I wonder if the others are going to find their digimon too? Is there something going on in the digital world?"

Luna shrugged. "I dont know...but I want to help out if there is!" She said brightly. "Mm...I think I might go pay this 'Rika' a visit...however I should call her Rika-san...But it might be a little odd if I just randomly show up on her doorstep during the day..." Luna laughed nervously. She didnt want to appear stalkerish, but her curiousity was getting the better of her. Diana twirled around gently. "I remember hearing about the D-Reaper from the digimon in the digital world. They said it was horrible." Diana said folding her arms.

Jeri nodded in response towards Diana's comment. Personal experience, she knew how terrible it had been for everyone. So many lives had been lost because of it, human and digimon. Yet the others, they had been able to stop it before it could do any more serious damage. In a way, it had been thanks to digimon and human's working together that had done it.

The girl then looked towards Luna and her partner and smiled. Maybe it was meant for them to do the same thing again...

"Probably...So..maybe I could go with you?"

As Jeri asked this, she walked over to her bag of creme puffs and picked it up off the ground. She then pulled out one and offered it to either Luna or Diana.

"That way, she won't be too upset...I hope..."

"Cream Puffffffff!" Diana said grabbing it and nomming on it. "So gooooooooood!" She said finishing. She attempted to snatch Luna's but Luna grabbed it. "Mine." She glared. "Would you come?" Luna asked, eyes sparkling. However in her sparkling eye moment, Diana had grabbed the cream puff and swallowed it whole. "D-Diannnnaaaa!" Luna said fuming. Diana giggled mischeviously. "So...how do we get to Rika-san's house?" Luna asked tilting her head.

Jeri just giggled as she used her free hand to point towards the city, while holding her bag in the other. If she remembered correctly, all they had to do was take the train towards the opposite side of the city, almost halfway to where she herself lived.

"We just need to take the train south of here...Though Im not sure if we will be able to do that, and make it back before my break from class is over... I hope my teacher won't be too mad..."

"Okayyyy! Lets gooooooooo!" Luna said boldly, moving down the hill, Diana watched after her before proceeding to perch on Jeri's head. "Imma rest here." She said grinning brightly. When they would get there was anyone's guest. Luna paused at the side of the road to look both ways before crossing the street to the other side, form here, she would wait for Jeri and Diana to join her.

Jeri smiled as she quickly ran after Luna, she wasn't sure when they would get there either, but at least she would be able to see Rika and maybe the others again. But that wasn't the only reason, she was sure that something had to be wrong, why else would digimon be reappearing. This meant that she had to help in any way she could.

Tamer or not, Jeri wanted to be there for her friends...Old and new..

It didnt take long for Luna to arrive in front of the old temple-like house. "Is this it? Its really the only one on this street..." Luna murmured looking to Jeri. Everything appeared quiet inside. Diana continued to perch on Jeri's head. "I dont sense any digimon inside..." She said blinking her fuschia gaze. If there was no digimon here, that probably meant that the girl from yesterday wasnt here either. What a bummer.
