[shadow=black,left,300]~Night[/shadow] It was late…
Xenneth had never been out this late at night. Between his eyes juggling to look at his watch that was on his left wrist and them tossing up looking for Hitomi frantically, he only felt more restraint by the minute. The time of the day seemed to greatly pass as in no time flat he had ran to the library to clear his head drowning it in Digimon Manga, Videos, and Card Catalogues and ended the day nicely by meeting one of the most strangest girls ever. His backpack was left behind, but Floramon secure in the digivice as Xenneth had only enough time between dressing, applying what he learned about being a tamer, and then his restless feelings thinking about school.
“Love…”
The word flowed through his head the very moment it had left Hitomi’s lips. It had washed around until it was stuck in his mind all day diverting his attention from the simplistic thing from deciding what clothes he should wear to his eyes staring endlessly into a mirror as if something was going to appear and give him the answer. The only thing that was sounded as an answer was Floramon calling him “stupid” and Rosaline saying he was “lying” each time he said nothing was wrong. All things aside, it had made something painfully obvious, and it was that this time, he was left alone to figure out this one and only problem.
How did he feel?
His mind felt as if it was ripped into two; there was the sexy and smooth Hitomi that everyone knew in school. She was very sexually appealing, full of confidence, and walked with a stride that would attract eyes and roll minds as if she was the Queen of Tokyo. Xenneth was not immune to it, but he was not interested. He did not prefer women for their looks, but he was nonetheless attracted to her when it was combine with that friendly side of her. The only problem was that the “friendly side” of Hitomi seemed devious and underhanded at times. He was unsure if she was actually being serious, or if she was playing one of her games he had heard about.
She was considered “crafty” by some people. She was able to get any boy and used them as she pleased. Whether it was for the most lustrous favors or simplistic ones. Why would she need Xenneth for anything for that matter? It made him feel as if he was missing something from the big picture, but when he thought this through, it only made it seem simple. Was Hitomi really in love with him and he was over thinking things, or was he really being careful as he should?
“She…cried…right?” he had asked himself, “Hitomi-chan was sad.”
That tear, he did not imagine it, right? He had asked himself this as he could clearly remember that moistness from her cheek. It was even worse that Xenneth had sat in the Downtown mall’s plaza as he sat on a bench near the spilling fountain. The decorative angel had spewed out an endless spring of water into the pool as the thought of the young woman made him frown insecurely. His hands clutched the wood of the bench as he had sat waiting for Hitomi.
He only hoped, he had an answer for her then; for her feelings. ::OOC Notes::IC Attire Default Attire: White Jacket, Blue shirt w/ Red Open hearts, White pants, white shoes, and fitted flat-bill cap, Silver Watch Now Listening To: "Stickerbush Symphony" from DKC2 BGMChatty Ditz: ---

At home, Hitomi spent a lot of time posing in front of her full length mirror with different types of outfits. She was about to go out with Xenneth, so she had to dress appropriately. She didn't want to be the usual flirtatious pollen that attracted hundreds of bees. She let out a sigh as she finally decided to wear a mid-length pencil skirt that assisted her features and an anime babydoll shirt. She ran her fingertips through her hair and studied it. She used hairclips and styled her hair into pig tails, the common trait of a tsundere, even though she wasn't a tsundere herself. Conversations with Impmon and re-watching of Digimon tv shows gave her an experimental idea. She made a tamer-like pose and attempted to store Impmon within her digivice, if that was even possible in the first place in real life. However, to her amusement, it succeeded. She gave a soft smile as she slipped her digivice into her purse and stashed some shounen manga that she would recommend to Xenneth-kun to get ideas of a confident personality. She spilled her heart out to him earlier, and tonight she would reinforce to him that she meant everything she said. The young girl closed and locked the door behind her as she went off toward the mall. *~~~~~~~~~* The anime otaku girl gathered a different type of crowd than she normally did as she walked through the occupied plaza. Pictures were taken of her as she blocked her face with a mad glare of doom. She turned to the right and sat at the first bench she came across and sat down on it, letting out a sigh as she flapped her shirt from exhaustion of running into other otaku. "Maybe I should've dressed further down.." she thought to herself aloud. She looked around and waited for Xenneth. As she turned her head to the right, the boy she sought was right next to her the whole time. "Xen-kun!~" she beamed with a glad smile. "I'm so happy you came~" her cheeks flushed with cheer and she spread her arms and almost glomped him, but restrained herself from her action, because she didn't want to make him anxious. "Ah..." She felt partly sad because she couldn't give him any affection without risk of making him uneasy, but she wouldn't let it bother her forever. "Is...there anything you wanted to tell me, from before?" she inquired as she turned her body around and sat on her knees. She must have looked like a different girl from her usual sailor uniform and accentuated features. This time, she accentuated different features because she didn't want to be known for that schoolgirl hussy.

[shadow=black,left,300]~Night[/shadow] Hit attention was so digressed, his mind was in such a whirlwind of thought that he had not noticed the young woman at his side as he sat silently.
"Xen-kun!~"
It was not until that next moment had he noticed Hitomi as she blurted out his name and he looked at her. It was difficult to describe her based on her current attire. Seeing her, he had only drew back with utter surprise as she opened her arms in order to embrace him while he tried to comprehend her appearance. She seemed to look like an ordinary girl with the way he had seen her through his eyes at that moment, but the next minute he had took to look her over, he had noticed the similarities and features of Hitomi, including her voice.
His body calmed, especially as she put her arms back. She most likely took note that he was nervous about females giving him such gestures and sudden affection without his approval. He had sighed slightly in relief before letting his eyes rest on Hitomi who had sat on her knees and looked toward him while they were on the bench. She certainly looked more different than he imagined her to be from her usual appearance at school.
He would imagine her as one of those thought young women who had been wondering around the teen cluttered areas of Japan. Usually the lower districts where young women where usually in cafes and public pups posing as older women. They were sometimes easily different upon another glance. This was usually characterized by their clothing choice that consisted of some sort of cut short jeans and tops that seemed to give a very arousing appeal to such callers. There were some that even dressed in a punk type style seeing local concerts were held near the district.
However, her current appearance sufficed. If anything, he was satisfied with the way she looked in either way she chosen. She was his friend after all, but lately since her heartfelt confession, he almost had felt as if something was off…or different between them.
"Ah...Is...there anything you wanted to tell me, from before?"
He could not respond easily to that.
Every since that confession, Xenneth had felt uneasy. With Floramon in her digivice, she was audible, but maybe even now she had chosen to say nothing. Maybe it was because Rosaline had said something to her? Unbeknownst to him, the young woman knew all about his current situation, and as of right now, she had chosen not to reveal to Xenenth that she aware of his current situation, and Floramon was to be silent as asked of the young woman. Respecting these wishes, the two had continued to try to remain silent as the Digimon had oversaw things while the two had been engaged in conversation, or at least Hitomi was.
“Oh…” Xenneth had cooed his signature word for beginning things when recalling a memory, “W-well, I was…just curious…” he had stuttered to say, “…what would we do later on tonight? I was not sure what we would do downtown since I don‘t come here much.”
He lied, but still that was a good question. He did not feel like dealing with things now seeing he still unsure of how to respond to Hitomi and her feelings. ::OOC Notes::IC Attire Default Attire: White Jacket, Blue shirt w/ Red Open hearts, White pants, white shoes, and fitted flat-bill cap, Silver Watch Now Listening To: "Stickerbush Symphony" from DKC2 BGM [Repeat] Chatty Ditz: ---

Oh, was that all? she thought to herself as she gave a slight smile as she stroked the side of her head. She stood up from the bench and walked over in front of him and held out her hand.
"Have you had dinner yet? We can grab something to eat, if you'd like." It would mean the world to her if he accepted her offered hand and allowed himself to do at least that much. Because as of now, she is asking for his permission to touch him.
"And after that, or if you already ate.. we could drop by my favorite anime store and see what new things they have in stock~" unlike most typical boys at school, she knew Xenneth would approve of her otaku ways. That was one of the things he had that other boys didn't.
"Hmm.. Xen-kun, when was the last time you came to my house, if ever?" she inquired. She had an inkling that he's come over before, but she couldn't recall when.

[shadow=black,left,300]~Night[/shadow] "Have you had dinner yet? We can grab something to eat, if you'd like."
Xenneth had stared towards the hand that offered to him. He was a bit hesitant to take it as of course he was still a bit fidgety staring. His own had reached out, limply as he let it go to her own, however, at the last minute, he had swallowed deeply as he let his left hand grasp his right. His eyes falling a bit before he had pushed his hands to his side to lift his body. His hands had fallen along his side while he had shot an easy smile to her feeling almost regretfully towards what he had just done, but he could not help it. The thought of touching her, it was just so difficult.
"T-that...w-would be nice." he had said.
"And after that, or if you already ate.. we could drop by my favorite anime store and see what new things they have in stock~"
“A-anime?”
He had almost forgotten that Hitomi liked anime and manga. He himself had not been very attracted the idea, but he was very open. Proof enough was whenever it came to Digimon, he was not a very big fan, but he did respect Rosy liking the little creatures, and he had went out of his way to learn the card game in order to have a hobby with her besides their flower shop with their mother. Maybe he could do the same with Hitomi since he did already had taken a step into the world of anime and manga. He did have to admit he liked to occasionally pick up a book or two, but one of it had so many sexual references and innuendoes that it was hard to keep his grasp on it without feeling dirty.
"Hmm.. Xen-kun, when was the last time you came to my house, if ever?"
“Oh, well…” Xenneth had begun to think upon the question, “I can‘t remember exactly, but…I was surprised by your room. I almost forgot that you like a lot of anime and stuff!” he had admitted as he remembered the items that floated around. It was not the typical room of a “Bad Girl” was one would expect. It was actually quite pleasant and light on the eyes. He was especially curious to walk around for a bit, but his feet felt so heavy because it was the first time being in some other girl’s room other than Rosaline’s. ::OOC Notes::IC Attire Default Attire: White Jacket, Blue shirt w/ Red Open hearts, White pants, white shoes, and fitted flat-bill cap, Silver Watch Now Listening To: "Stickerbush Symphony" from DKC2 BGM [Repeat] Chatty Ditz: Posted, but tired. "Okay~" Hitomi smiled brightly as he accepted her offer to go eat. However, her heart sank a little as he buckled and didn't take her hand. It was okay, though. He'd hold her hand eventually.
"How about we go to a restaurant?" she chimed in as she pointed in a direction where all of the cafes and such would be. Hopefully once they sat down to eat together, she would get the chance to talk to him about herself, since he didn't really know everything about her.
As the two walked side by side to a restaurant of her choice, she spoke. "Well, how would you like to come over tonight so you can get re-acquainted with my room? I have something I'd like to show you, if you don't mind..." she trailed off.
Several minutes later, they arrived at the establishment and were seated in a booth.

[shadow=black,left,300]~Night[/shadow] "How about we go to a restaurant?"
“S-sure Hitomi-se-…I mean, Hitomi-chan. I don‘t mind.”
He was still trying to get use to saying “Hitomi-chan.” Regardless of her now certain love for him, he seemed to be more uneasy around her than before. He thought he liked it if they were closer, but regardless of him getting his wish, things only made him feel a little more uncertain now. She seemed very hard to converse with seeing any situation with her had seemed to melt into mush seeing he did not want to hurt her feelings.
How was he supposed to say it?
“Hitomi-Senpai, I don‘t have feelings for you.”
Why was it so hard to say it to her? Maybe there was something more that he was not seeing. Looking at him, he felt nervous around her. He was trying to think exactly what he did not like about her, but when he thought, nothing had came. Maybe he did find something attractive about Hitomi, but deep down, he could not see past that average popular girl that would never be with him, but the funny thing was, she wanted to be with him, right?
"Well, how would you like to come over tonight so you can get re-acquainted with my room? I have something I'd like to show you, if you don't mind..."
“H-huh? Y-your room again?” he had asked in surprise.
The first time, he barely survived. Xenneth could not think possibly why he would go back to Hitomi’s room. The first time was not very important, and if anything there was a slight difference seeing he was specially invited and his sister tagged along even though she did not go any further than the living room. It was more “business” than pleasure between the two seeing she was eager to let him get to know her a little since the only thing she and his sister had in common was that they liked things like Digimon. It was actually surprising.
“W-Well…I…I guess.” he had spoke nervously thinking about the offer hesitantly. ::OOC Notes::IC Attire Default Attire: White Jacket, Blue shirt w/ Red Open hearts, White pants, white shoes, and fitted flat-bill cap, Silver Watch Now Listening To: "Stickerbush Symphony" from DKC2 BGM [Repeat] Chatty Ditz: ---
