He nodded in response as he listened to Chiaki. That was why she merely seemed familair, but Tomonari didn't know who she was. Tomonari opened his mouth to say something, but couldn't get the words out of his mouth. Aside from his sister, he didn't have much experience with girls. Noel noticed this and gave her brother a quick nudge, making the boy jump a little. Turning his attention back over to Chiaki, Tomonari spoke up, "I-I'm Tomonari, by the way. Th-this is my sister, Noel.... um... er......" In return, Noel giggled a little, and said, "Don't mind my brother too much, he's really a timid kid. He'll be fine once Tomo gets used to someone, okay?"
Tomonari was given back Kuramon, and he looked down at the digimon for a while longer. He noticed that he wasn't paying attention, and said, "OH! I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention there. I-I go to Shinjuku High as well." The male teenager became quiet again, trying to think of something to say. Talking with others in general made Tomonari uneasy, but he managed to get through the day. "Y-yeah but, I still want to know why a real digimon appeared...", Tomonari added on.

"Hi Noel." Chiaki said warmly to Noel as she rested her digivice on her lap. It really wasn't worth worrying about, she supposed. After all, if it was decided that she wasn't supposed to get a real digimon for whatever reason it was. Maybe she would get one later, after all, she had gotten that strange device in the same way that he had, and maybe that thing in the center of the screen had something to do with a real Digimon.
"It's okay Tomonari-san... Maybe it's because you're a fan of this Digimon thing and I'm not... But now, I kinda wish I could have a cute friend like that little guy you have there."

He kept quiet for a while longer, not know how to form his words. However, an idea sprung into his head, and Tomonari responded, "Oh, I have an idea. Maybe....if you wanted, I could teach you about digimon. Well, what I know of course..." From what he was getting, perhaps Chiaki was a little jealous, but Tomonari threw that idea away. He didn't want to be mean, and that was perhaps a little cruel. The teenager began to dwell in his own thoughts for a while, until Noel placed her hand on his should, "We better get going now. It's getting a little late." Tomonari looked up at her and nodded, and then turned to Chiaki, "Oh, um, I gotta go now. So, see you at school?"
Both of them stood up, Kuramon still in Tomonari's arms. As they began to walk, Noel said to Chikai, "Nice to meet you." From there, they headed on home, awaiting to see what their father would say about Kuramon.
