"... Look ma'am." Nick said, laying his sarcasm on heavily as he stared at the man in front of him. "As rare, valuable, and useable as lightguns are, we don't accept them for trade in any sort of way!"
"But you said yourself that you take video game accessories as values!"
"You know what, we've been going on this for about a half hour. I'll give you five hundred yen out of my own pocket, and take the lightgun myself." Nick said, digging in his back pocket for his wallet. "I hope your satisfied."
"Well-"
"Ah ba ba! No arguments." Nick said, giving the man the stink-eye. "Now buy your junk and leave. And!" He said, preemptively interrupting the man before he could speak, "I don't care if you rate me low in our surveys. It just means I don't get that promotion I don't need or want."
Taking the cash, the man left muttering dark things about Nick's future, and about his race.
"Goodbye and good riddance." Nick muttered in English as he stuffed the relic into his backpack. "F-ing jerk."
Looking around the shop, he sighed as he saw there were still a few people wandering around. Guess he couldn't take a break for a cigarette just yet. Darn. At least the store was kinda empty. Nick liked that about the BuyMore. It was a smaller, cheaper ripoff of the more known BestBuy. His counter was in the back of the store, allowing him to cover most of the computers and video game purchases, as well as allowing him to deal with trade-ins for credit. The counter up front handled TV and appliances. Sometimes, when someone was selling back a game, he bought it for a slightly better price than the store was offering. But he didn't do it that much. He could probably lose his job for that. Oh well.
Sighing, he looked around the store again, as small as it was, hoping that the two people would leave. But it looked like they were browsing... Which meant a long day. Especially since his coworker up front had called in sick, leaving him stuck here alone, minus the sales representatives and the tech support guys.

"OH WOW! THE NEW DIGIMON VIDEO GAME!"
Shana held up the game in her hand rather excitedly as she read the back of it for a description. The description really didn't matter however, it was the new Digimon game, so of course she wanted it! She would have it. There was only one problem. She didn't have enough money to buy it. In fact, she had almost no money at all. This led to a very particular question. How would she get it out of the store?
"Hrmm..."
Well quickly of course. She would have to make sure that she could get out of the store without getting caught. After all, if she was going to be the world's best tamer, she would have to experience every form of taming, even in the video games. While she had the real thing, she wouldn't practice on Aruraumon's life. If she lost Aruraumon, she couldn't get her back. The video game was different.
Shana quickly stuffed the game in her purse, looking around nervously to make sure that no one was watching. Having decided that this was her opportunity, she closed her purse and quickly strided to the door as quickly as she could.

Except, of course, Nick wasn't that dumb. For someone to go from browsing to the door that quickly, ignoring the displays? Especially at her age? Not gonna happen. Something was up... He didn't know what. Oh well. Better safe than sorry.
"Hey you!" He yelled, running from behind the counter. "I saw that!"
Why did thieves have to be so stupid? He asked himself as he continued to hail her. "You have to pay for that." he bluffed, running up to her. "Give it back."
He held out his hand expectantly, a stern look on his face. He didn't like people stealing from the store; he didn't even get a discount on games, much less free ones. And if he couldn't have 'em free, nobody would, in his opinion. Although... She was young... Nick decided that he wouldn't kick her out if she returned it quickly and admitted she was wrong. After all, he was young and stupid once, too.
Meanwhile, in the back of the shop, a few of the TVs had started to get surprisingly static-y. This was especially odd, since they were playing DvDs for display purposes, thus removing all chance of normal interference.

"Crud," Shana muttered after hearing him call her out. She stopped dead in her tracks. Had he really seen her put the game in her bag? Had she been that obvious? She wasn't usually the type to steal, so this really was her first time. She felt so nervous about it, but she saw the game as necessary. How could she learn to be a good tamer without the game? In other words, this was worth stealing.
Maybe... He'll think I didn't hear him if I just keep moving.
Shana didn't take a second to look back or even acknowledge that she had heard him. Instead, she would do the exact opposite thing from what he probably wanted and make a dash out of the door with the video game in her purse. She was fast, and hopefully she could get away with it. She only hoped that she was faster than him.
"Nnnnngh! Run run run!"

Little information found on the events of the D-reaper. My lack of knowledge towards my father's whereabouts, and that of my sister, leaves me with nothing to follow...
As the girl thought upon her mission to learn something of her sibling's death, Nagato found herself walking into a store. It wasn't as if she needed anything, it was just that it would be a good place to stop to get warm for the moment. But, as she appeared to leave her bag at the store front, she would soon feel a force ram into her. This sudden impact would then cause the girl to fall backwards, landed on her side, and her glasses sliding towards the opposite end of her.

Kazuma walked purposefully through the streets of Akihabara, avoiding the large crowds as best he could. Normally, he would first head home and change before coming down to Akiba, but a number of new games were coming out today and he didn't want to miss them. And so, he was still dressed in Ryuzan Gakkou's winter male uniform; a pair of navy blue pants with a matching blazer and a white dress shirt. He'd had to have them custom tailored given the fact that he's roughly half the size of your average High School student. Then again, he was 14. He also had the highest grades in the school, then again, the school had earned the unfortunate nickname Baka Gakkou, or idiot school. It had low tuition though, and the students there were colorful, to say the least.
Anyway, I'm getting off track. Kazuma headed towards the Buymore, and tried to enter, falling in right behind a high-school girl with short purple hair. That threw the boy for a loop, he didn't think purple hair was even geneticly possible, muhc less naturel, and she didn't seem the type to dye it, not from the way she held herself. But then again, you never know.
Before Kazuma knew what was happening, he heard some sort of crash and saw the girl infront of him falling over as if someone had collided with her. And like a domino, when Kazuma tried to catch her, he got knocked over as well and ended up on his back with the purple-haired girl on top of him. When he fell, his mp3 player, wallet, and D-arc all fell out of his pockets, the D-arc going skidding across the walk before coming to a stop about half a meter away. In all likelyhood, the one who had caused this would fall as well, but on the off chance that they didn't and instead tried to keep going, then Kazuma would grab at their ankle as they passed.

Due to inactivity, we'll skip Nichothedes for now until he is ready to post."Ufff!"
Shana was sent from the collision falling back onto her bottom after having been rudely blocked off by some older girl. It appeared that her attempted escape was no longer possible as she had hurt her ankle from the fall. While she could still run away, she wouldn't be able to go at nearly her top speed anymore because of the energy. She was usually very swift and agile, but escaping now may have been close to impossible. The only question now was, what would happen to her? Maybe she could just simply play it off.
Shana pushed herself calmly up to her feet and brushed the dust off of her clothing. Although she had been hurt a bit, she didn't want to draw any more attention to herself than what she had already drawn. She needed to find a way out of this, but she knew it would be quite difficult. She needed to stop the cashier from looking into her purse. So long as she did that, she would be able to escape with impunity.
"Umm... Sorry Ma'am... But I'm in a bit of a hurry, excuse me," Shana tried to remain calm, still ignoring the cashier, as she waited for Nagato to move out of the way so she could leave, hopefully before the cashier would make more movements toward her.

Her head pounded lightly as she could feel somewhat of an increase in her heart rate. It was an odd feeling, but one that wasn't completely uncommon. It was just her body reacting to the thrill of the moment, the jolt of energy that came from the surprised encounter. Yet, she hadn't realized that someone else had wondered in right behind her, but then, she couldn't really see who they were.
"My apologies...."
Speaking in a emotionless tone, Nagato attempted to reach out towards her glasses, feeling upon what seemed to be an oddly shaped device. It almost felt like a digi-vice, but it couldn't have been her own. After all, hers was still safely within her coat pocket. Though, the time for questions seemed limited, as a voice spoke another apology. It wasn't from the person behind, but from the front, the one that had rammed into her upon entry.
The girl was now within a kneeling position upon the floor, her hands still gently feeling around for her glasses. She didn't answer Shana, though from what she heard in the distance, the girl was obviously doing something she wasn't. The faint, but slowly approaching cries of the clerk were evident enough of possible wrong doing. Thus, explaining why the short figure had been in such a hurry.
"It would also appear that the clerk is addressing you as well..."
