Chatty Ditz: Yay! Second post! My next thread will be open! I'm sorry for making this look like a fan-fic, but you would not believe it if I told you that I'm holding back on my description! If I typed one big post it would be a hassle to read, so I wanted to get right to the part to meet my partner so I can start RPing with people which will not be so long in desc for my next post....I hope! *Bows continuously to apologize* @_@[/size]

~“Can you keep a secret? Because I can.”
“Believe in me!”
The voice had chimed as the figure had stood before the most darkest sight he had ever seen, on a regular bases at times like this, as he trembled slightly. Eyes that were beautiful were now a piercing, ferocious blue as they narrowed and glared towards him. Soft and gentle cheeks were puffed in a pouted form like a blowfish as the figure causing this so had thus leaned in towards him expressing clear frustration. Hands strongly pressed against the hops of this little figure as a right foot at tap. It was silent, and the moment of truth came from her next reaction.
A sigh…
“Okaaay!~” the figure had sang, “…but please don‘t burn yourself out, big brother! I told you, I‘m old enough to do stuff on my own.”
Another sigh, but this time from the male figure’s lips.
The little sister’s glare was cut throat and was one of the most pressured things he had seen in his life. Her anger was “Legendary” when it came to people pushing her to the point where she stood up for someone like him or family, but God forbid if the violet haired boy wanted to be on the receiving end. All in all, he was fortunate that the sisterly figure was of the same blood. Somewhere deep down, he was aware that she would never hurt him, but he did not take that from granted seeing she held true to exercising her passionate strength when it was needed, and even he knew how pathetic he was to need someone’s help.
“I know Rosy-chan.” the boy had said, “…b-b-but, I just think I should take care of this stuff since it‘s out of the way. Besides, I want to take a little interest in things you do!”
His happy expression was enough, or so he assumed as the young woman had returned his smile and a peppy giggle of her voice. Her hands had reached and slapped together as they curled one another. Her eyes had closed in bliss as she seemed to nod her head in satisfaction. It made him happy; whenever she could smile like that he was always happy seeing his little sister that way. He was her big brother after all.
“I‘m happy to hear that!” she had said with a smile, “In that case, I‘ll leave it to you! Good night, big brother!”
Her footsteps had sounded off in her blue crocs as she whipped around and ran forth to the opposite end of the hall. Xenneth, standing by the doorway of his room, had signed in relief before shooting a glance back into the room towards his desk. How was he supposed to explain this, and how was he ever going to figure out what that “thing” was. His eyes had been closed for that moment the moment Rosaline’s door had open and shut showing she had truly went to bed that night. Not even the fragrance from the downstairs level that was the Flower Shop was enough to calm his nerves.
“What am I supposed to?” he had thought worriedly, “I can‘t give that thing to Rosy! I-I don‘t even know what it does!”
*Chime! Chime! CHIME!!!*
His eyes opened slightly more than before as he had stared towards the desktop. He seemed a bit surprise considering the little device was doing something. A matter of fact, this was the first time it “ever” did anything! To him, it was like the beginning step to knowing its functions, but he was secretive as he was quick to run into the bedroom, close the door and then reach to the desk snatching it as he reached his hands over it and trying to silence it so no one would here.
“Ick! How do I make it stop?!”
He pressed it, firmly as he had collected his hands along the item. It had ceased, but at that time, another repetitive sound had started, but in a low hum. He had stared at his clasped palms, and shortly after, slowly opened it to reveal what was something bulging as an image. Turning the device until it was upside, he had blinked seeing it was a projection, but was still surprised seeing it lifted with the device. It was mysterious, and definitely unheard of since it ruled out the possibility of being a cell phone.
“This is…a map?” he had spoke looking at the gird like item, “…a-a compass?”
It was difficult to comprehend. Nevertheless, upon staring at the image, the young boy had begun to move his body around. Left to right, the only thing that seemed to change upon moving his body with the device was the massive red arrow that had pointed from one end of the large circle to something that was out of sight of the map. It was clearly something was attracting it, but still, it was beyond the young boy what it was.
Did he even want to know for that matter? Did he “have” to know?
“If I don‘t check this, and Rosy or Mom happen to find this…”
He swallowed. A scary thought to know that one of the two would get the device and ask about it. What was he supposed to tell Rosaline? Her card made a new device that he was dishonest to her about? Or on the other hand, his mom had found some kind of electronic that he had kept in the room when she said ask her about things that he found? At that point, he swallowed at the end results. They would either end up making a lecture or him being the target of a little sister’s aggression until the next morning.
“I should go take a look…” he had said following the arrow as it lead to his window. It was at that point that he knew that this “source” was not in his room. It was outside, and it was late at night. His eyes had filled with a slight dread knowing that he would have to walk outside to check this unusual phenomenon, but even that was hard to do. Thinking about it, he had twisted his lips as he hesitantly wanted to carry out his thoughts.
“I need to sneak out! Mom locked the shop up, and if I try to go out the front, the bells will ring, so…”
His eyes had went to his closet where he had saw a bundle of bed sheets. It was the only way.
His hands had tucked away the device in his pocket. He had not yet changed out of his clothes after work from today, so he was still ready to go. He locked his door and cut off the lights to give the impression that he was sleep and continued to whisk his hands around the balled ends of bed sheets until he wrapped one end around the bed post and his eyes had gone to the open window before tossing one end outside.
“S-s-sorry mom!” he had thought as he clasped his hands together nervously, “I‘ll do the laundry this week! I promise!”
He had reached his body over the window sill in a hunch, his arms pressing against it before letting himself fall to grab the sheet. It was most unfortunate that the grabbing the sheet part did not work out well…
“Eiyaaaaaah!”
*CRASH!!!*
His body had reached as he rustled his cushion of shrubs and trees that was underneath him. Weakly, he had moved seeing his hair was entangled and most likely in bad shape. After a while of tossing and turning, he had made haste to try to get out of sight as he laid on the fresh grass on side of the shrubs while seeing that above him was a fluttering rope of bed sheets that were disconnected. He was clearly not good with knots to begin with.
“Uh…oh!”
His eyes had stared up towards the bed sheet that hung from his open window. His blue eyes seemed to feel with dread seeing one problem, but knowing in his mind there was another. He knew he would have to deal with the “first” problem. It was all he could do seeing it would make his failed plan pointless if it had not give him a reason. Standing up and looking towards the device’s map, he had begun to walk slowly as he felt sore all over, but determined to investigate the origin of this strange device.
