The girl stood calmly across the street, her bag held firmly against her back, while her eyes looked straight ahead towards the place she would soon call home. It wasn't much, the apartment complex seemed abit average, yet she had no complaints. Besides, it wasn't as if this would be her permenant residence, as far as she knew anyway.
Using her free hand to push her glasses from the tip of her nose, the young teen slowly looked from one side of the street to another, insuring that it was ok to cross. Then, when she felt as though it was safe, she slowly began to make her way to the other side. While walking, her mind questions the events two days ago, before her arrival to this new place.
-------
"If that is what you wish of me..."
Nagato sat next to a hard wood desk, her hands writing what appeared to be notes. Behnd her, stood a man who was at least in his mid 30's. His appearance showed that he was a man of great importance, dressed in a one-piece suit, and his facial hair was neatly trimmed. His expression was stern as he looked upon the back of the girl, some what put off by her lack of eye contact.
"It is the best thing for you. You spend you're time within this room, working on god knows what! You need to be in a place where you can interact with children your age. I just don't understand how you could have come about this way!"
The teen remained at work, not responding to this comment as her focus remained on the paper underneath her head. She continued writing, not stopping intill she felt her chair being jerked away from the desk, then roughly turned so that she was now face to face with the adult. But even then, her gaze shifted to the floor, eyes still calm as her thoughts remained on what she had been writing.
"Look at me Nagato!"
The girl obeyed, slowly lifting her head so that her eyes were now locked with her father's. Her expression was still calm, yet almost blank as to what it was this man was saying. She seemed to block out half of the conversation, staring at her parent, yet not hearing a word.
"I understand...."
"Do you? I want you to be sure of how serious I am! Because quite frankly, I do not think you do understand. No more! I want you to focus on your studies, not your sister's death! For two years I have heard you question staff, people at the airport about this matter! Enough is enough! Allow her to rest in peace without your meddling!"
Her head tilted to the side, wondering why he was so upset about her trying to find some clarity to the matter. Though her face didn't show it, her face rarely showed any emotions. For years she had managed to learn how to avoid letting facial expressions give away her turn feeling, thus, why her face always remained blank or with a calm glance.
"Understood..."

Managing to get to the other side, the young girl walked up the stairs and made her ascent to the top floor. Passing many doors, she soon stopped at the one marked 10. Then, removing a card key, she scanned it and then entered the apartment, closing the door behind her.
It was rare to have someone so young live in a place all her own. But, despite her mothers concern, her father believed her to be very independant. Which she was, she had no problem being alone, in fact, she found it as a comfort. It allowed her to be with her thoughts, her ideas, her theories. Many of which still revolved around that of her younger sister.
Nagato knew of her obsession, it was no mystery that she was having a hard time believing her fathers story of the events. In fact, he knew that she didn't. This was one of the reason why she thought that he sent her here. Stranges things happened within that manor, yet she couldn't remember any of them. Then, the strange death of her sister really had made her curious. Plus, there was the behavior of her father that had taken her interest as well.
"Perhaps...this is an advantage..."
Speaking softly to herself, the girl walked over to the small table in the living room, placing a file of papers and a book from her bag on its surface. It had been all the intell she had gathered while in Aichi, Japan. Perhaps, being here would help piece together this information...maybe.
Sitting down on the small sofa, the girl removed her glasses, gently rubbing her eyes with her closed fist as she looked down towards the book. It was a simple copy of Sherlock Holmes, yet it had taught her much about using every aspect of her mind to its full limit. But, she hadn't the interest to read another chapter today.
Removing her shoes from her feet, Nagato laid her body along the sofa's length, she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep. Yet, she had no dreams. Dreams would be a waste of information space, space that she would need for the following day...
