Another nice day, yet sadly there wasn't any free roaming this time for her class. In fact, it was now independant study on whatever it was that you had located the day before. Thankfully, even though she had run into Luna and had spent much of her time helping her, Jeri had still managed to find a small flower to examine.
Yet while others had done the same thing, she had taken the time to insure that the plant had been placed within a small cup full of dirt, in which she had watered this morning. Jeri was constantly thinking about preserving life, it was somewhat odd to some of her new classmates that she would go through such efforts, but those who knew her understood the reason for this.
Letting her gaze leave from her notebook, the young girl stared at the flower's pedals, taking as much time as she needed to describe their beauty. She must have been doing a good job, it seemed to be doing quite well within its new home. A smile lingered as she then returned her focus back towards the assignment.

"Great.. I'm lost.... maybe... mom didn't give me the right directions." A worried experssion appeard as a 5"3 high-schooler walked around. Her black penny loafers made a crunching noise in the grass. She was going to late for school that was a fact, yet she really didn't mind. As her loafers made a crunching noise Yuki smiled and kept on walking. At this time of day she would be with her friends. But in fact she didn't have any it was hard being shy and no being able to speak up.
Not having your voice heard is a hard thing.. something her parents thought she would work through. In truth Yakomi liked being who she was. It was something she enjoyed instead of trying to be like someone she wasn't A breeze of air seemed to hit her face and move her shot blue hair forward into her face. Shaking it out of the way the feet that had made the crunching noise had lead her in front of a flower. It was pretty and was all alone. As she was just about to touch it her body squated down and gently touched the petals. A small smile came onto her face as she admired it.

By now, this class was over and many of the students had begun to make their way towards the door. Jeri decided to wait intill the rush had passed, then she would do the same. It wasn't as if she had anywhere special to go today, if anything, she had nothing to do at all. Though while she did plan to look more into the return of digimon to the real world, she hadn't the slightes idea as to where to start.
"I wish I would have asked Luna where she found Diana. Then I would have a clue as to where to start..."
Jeri thought about this as she walked her flower towards the window. It wasn't as if she could use her own personal experience in this search. After all, Leomon had appeared out of a rainbow. Not only that, but she was certain that portals had changed as well...or maybe they hadn't? The girl wished she knew more about these things than just their natural appearence...
Placing the flower on the sill of the window, the young girl noticed a student outside looking at something. Jeri blinked as she wasn't sure what it was, could she be looking at a digi-vice.
"Oh no...Not at school..."
Grabbing her bag, Jeri quickly bowed towards her teacher and then proceeded down the stairs towards the courtyard. She had to hurry, what if this girl's digimon appeared right out in the open? It would cause total chaos, not only that, but possibly get her and her partner digimon hurt.
Making it outside, Jeri soon realized that it wasn't a digi-vice she was looking at, but a lone flower. A sigh escaped her lips as she walked towards the older female. She looked as if she was a high school student, but why was she by the middle school?
"Um...hello..."

"Huh? Oh.. H.. Hi... there..."
Her voice cracked a bit as she saw the small girl. At first she was nevous but slowly breathed standing up. Her brown loafers kicked up some girl, as her hair moved a bit as she swayed. The heart inside her chest wasn't beating fast all. In fact she wasn't nervous, she was calm and felt peaceful.
She slowly stopped kicking dirt and looked at the girl with a small smile. "Um.. Hi.. Im Yakomi Yukiami.... but... you.. m.. may call.. me Yuki. May I ask what your name is?"
Her head tilted a bit as her blue hair moved with her. Today she didn't think about meeting anyone but it was a middle school. So kids had to be everywhere in the place. As she keep looking at the girl Yuki kept trying to figure why she hadn't left yet.

"Oh! Sorry...I don't know why I keep forgetting to do that lately..."
Jeri giggled as she quickly bowed as she began to introduce herself as well. Even though she was sure that she was too late to make up for it, she wanted to try her best to remain respectful of others.
"My name is Jeri Katou, though everyone just calls me Jeri. Its nice to meet you Yuki" The girl gave the upper classman a grin, rising back up to a regular standing position, though as she did so, she knelt down to look at the flower that Yuki was studying early.
"Its really pretty...Almost sad that it may not make it past next break..."

"Can you at least walk faster!" Rorin was growing tiresome of this so called 'companion' of his. The dark colored digimon had an attitude problem that Rorin couldn't tolerate. What's worse is the fact that they were taking hours to walk through the school. "My first day and this guy is already causing me problems."
"Hey, don't rush me. I'm not like these other digi-losers that gotta tail behind a human. I'm too cool for that." The Black Gabumon proclaimed. "Besides, you should be the one following me." Rorin stopped suddenly and turned to glare at the digimon. "Uh..." He replied backing up a bit. "Just kidding?"
Rorin let out a sigh and continued walking. "Just don't let it happen again."

"Its very nice to meet you Jeri... and agree.... when things don't survive people get sad.. but I think.. for this flower.. no one will become sad.. they will just forget about it and... go find more.." At the end of those words her voice trailed off and she squated down looking at the flower once more. She was happy to find someone that seem to care about flowers.
Most people would just find more and move on with there lives, yet one flower could mean only more die. As she looked at the plant she gave a smile. "So Jeri.. what is there to do around here?" At the moment her feelings of going to school had gone away, or had they.

Jeri smiled as she thought about the question for a moment, and then pointed towards the small playground not too far away.
"Well, there are some kids that go and play Digimon over there. Its a really fun card game..."
While Jeri knew that it was more than just a card game to some, she decided it was best to leave that matter hidden. Since sometimes, knowing about digimon wasn't a good thing. Especially when you knew that they could appear at any...
"Oh no..."
As she was pointing Yuki towards the playground, she saw a boy standing next to what appeared to be a Blk.Gabumon. Or maybe it was just a kid in a costume? After all, some kids still did that...right?
"Um..."
Jeri began to try and think of something else that might draw away from that direction, but nothing was coming. Why would someone just bring a digimon to school?

"Oh.. digimon.. I have heard it of. I use to see kids playing it all the time while walking to school. I guess I never bothored playing the game. Huh?... Jeri.. is something.... wrong..." Her voice stopped short as she looked around the school. She saw the boy and the think following it, but she quickly ignored it. She had seen the card before flying in the wind. Yet the female never thought they would be well REAL! As her thoughts went crazy she blinked a couple of times.
"Hey.. uuhhh Jeri.. lets go somewhere else... I get nervous around ... guys...." She looked from side to side blinking more as she tried to motion for Jeri. She wanted hurry and go before she started getting nervous. It was so like her to be odd around people, she was always a shy girl.

(Well, I was waiting for Citron, but I guess we can move on without him)
"Um...ok..how about over by the playground?"
Jeri began walking in that direction, but her thoughts were still on what had just occured. After all, Yuki must have seen the Blk.Gabumon, yet her reaction wasn't exactly what she had expected it to be. Maybe she had seen digimon before, Real digimon. That, or she was thinking she had just seen an illusion.
In any case, perhaps she wouldn't have to explain it. So far she really hadn't done such a good job in doing so as of late. Such tasks were better suited for tamers like Henry or Rika. Even Takato was a proper choice compared to her. Yet, she couldn't help but try and be as of much help as possible.
