[shadow=black,left,300]~Noon[/shadow] *Ring, Ring, RING!!!*
The only sound of the day, which was not a good sign.
Bags under his eyes, the chiming of the final day’s bell had rung and the teacher roaring was faint and inaudible because of how he sprung from his wake. His eyes had sand in them, and his rubs were just enough to finally clear them to see he was almost the last person to leave the room. It was the ending of a terrible school day considering that from all he could remember, he could only remember the words “Quiz” and “Study” which left him with one question…
“What?”
He carried that thought with him leaving the room with one sack tossed over his shoulders as he slinked it on completely and the other with a book bag with the strap going to his right shoulder and letting the bag fall onto his left hip. The bag on his back had seemed to be stuff of what looked like a bouquet of flowers that were due for an emergency delivery the moment he left school, but that was only his wish as he tried to keep himself from making a mental note that it was actually his “Nightmare in the Bag.”
“Are we done yet?” the excessive low voice had said from the ruffling bouquet in the bag, “That was boring! I really don‘t like school!”
How he wished he could say something to quiet the plant-like Digimon, but he knew it would lead to more bickering and complaining. He had learned his lesson that very last night as he played all the memories backwards as they were the more “important” details of his life; very much more so than a quiz that would end up lowering his grades which could take a slight plunge for once considering his straight lace school records.
Last night was too much. There was the small device he investigated only to find that it was tracking a Digimon. It was not just any “Digimon,” but his Digimon. A creature he thought was nothing but a piece of an imaginary card game or T.V. Show was actually living in his bag. The only question was, why were they not smiling or as nice as the ones on that card or in the T.V. show. The one that traveled with him seemed pretty obnoxious and wanted to call the shots.
“Can you stop walking like a Zombiemon? Seriously! You‘re making me queasy in here!”
It was the gift that kept on giving. The Digimon had not stopped chattering not even once and had a problem with whatever the boy did. If it was to lift a finger, or to given his head to it on a silver platter, it seemed really mean and upset, unless it was around Rosaline, his little sister who it was actually fond of as it scurried quickly to her regardless of the fact Xenneth wanted to keep the creature secret, and furthermore was his little sister who had welcomed the Digimon as if it was just any other guest. It went to show that maybe they were true destined partners, but Rsoaline disagreed as she insisted that Floramon stayed with Xenneth.
“Speed up a little! We need to get out of this place! It‘s as bad as the outskirts of the city in the Digital World!”
He had the feeling that the only reason that the Digimon stuck with him was by his sister’s request, and not even having the slightest intention to be partners. It really was wearing on his patience, and he was a very patient boy who did not complain at all. His eyes were baggy and his body felt as if it would fall to the floor and grab a nearby foot to nestle it as his temporary pillow. Even a nice floor of broken glass and a brick would do for a bed. He just wanted to rest, but the school day did not end unless he made it home where the charming aroma of the Flower Shop had sat along with his bed that was a flight of stairs up.
He would be satisfied if he made it to the couch in the living room, that was for the customers at that.
“It‘s cramped in here, ya‘ know! I think I‘m standing on one of your lubby dubby Love Novels!”
If he had the blood to spare, he would blush, but he was quite puzzled to how the Digimon knew how to read. He would not be surprised if it did. After all, it’s story was long and a tall tale that seemed like something out of those books. From a world apart, the Digital World, the Digimon had watched Rosaline and Xenneth all along from a viewing window. Little remnants of their life before its eyes and everything they loved and hated were displayed. Their fears, their strengths, their love; it was all laid bare in small simple moments. It would sound very touching if the Digimon was interested as if it had a strong desire to be apart of it, but all it was worried about was being the partner of his beloved sister who seemed to be “perfect” in anyone’s eyes as usual.
“Ewww! This stuff called “Tuna Sandwich“ just tastes like some kind of nasty ‘sand‘!”
“My favorite dry Tuna? Floramon! How could you?!”
That was too sudden, and too most, it looked like he was talking to himself. His eyes had scanned around him as he had saw the gazing figures nearby starting to whisper. Most of them assumed he had finally snapped with a secondary “female” identity emerging, or maybe it was because something about “Hitomi-Senpai” putting the leash on him that turned his brain to much because of him getting a “taste” of what she had to offer. It was far from any of those things. He just had one more enemy in his backpack and she just so happened to be stuck with him.
“You pint-sized pinky haired pipsqueak?! Who do you think you‘re talking to? Don‘t you thin-!!!”
He had quickly reached to his backpack as he whipped it around and hugged it muffling the sound of the rampaging plant. His eyes had went around as he cringed He tried to shush the Digimon worriedly as he tried to remember in that moment why she brought her to school. What did his sister Rosaline say again, “She will protect you from evil Digimon?” It was still vague, and the cards that were pressed into his pocket as some kind of “starter’ set had confused him seeing he did not know what to do with them. He was just told they would “protect” him and Floramon.
“Oh dear…” he had thought, “…this isn‘t good at all!” he had thought as he held his ruffling backpack as he motioned his hands across it trying to make it seem as if he was shaking it up himself.
Standing out in the courtyard, he knew this was definitely the start of a bad day seeing that he was having trouble with this new “partnership” already. ::OOC Notes::IC Attire School Uniform Now Listening To: "Niji" by NirglisChatty Ditz: Okies! Done!

Safely secured in Hitomi's pack, Impmon scanned the surroundings through the small opening provided by the messenger bag. As the brunette walked through the courtyard, her heart fluttered as the love of her life entered into her vision.
...However, he seemed a bit off. His head frantically looked around to and from his pack which seemed to be shaking. She looked to her pack and back toward her precious Xenny.
An idea zipped through her mind as she veered her course to head toward Xenneth. Soon enough she would be within his peripheral vision.
"Hey there Xenny-kun~ Mind if I sit with you..?" Hitomi's head tilted to the side to feign an innocent motive to sit with him.
Her eyes still kept the shaking bag of his in their view as she made the motion to sit next to him, but not disturbingly close for him to be afraid. She shifted her body to face him and put her messenger bag in front of her.
A gentle smile was on her face, as her arms wrapped around her bag affectionately as her cheeks blushed.

[shadow=black,left,300]~Noon[/shadow] "Hey there Xenny-kun~ Mind if I sit with you..?"
The voice had set off alarm bells in his ears, no matter how nice the words. At that moment, his neck snapped before he could get a glance and only once again finding himself in a stare. From bottom and racing to the top, he had made out that hour glass figure with a red blush on his cheeks and worked his way up to see that well ample breast size and luscious lips of red. He would think he was a pervert seeing he had taken a stare at a body so close, but it was mostly because he had to keep an eye seeing that any part of it was often tossed at him considering he knew exactly who it had belong to.
“H-Hi-Hitomi-senpai?!” he had responded almost scarcely.
His eyes had went to the face of the young woman as he had taking the improper honorific. Even though they were in the same grade, she was slightly older than him, and that was an intimidating feature that made him call her by “senpai.” He doubted his own knowledge really which might have been the source of that reality. Even so, he could not help but to come back to reality to not only let his intimidated self fall prey by just looks but also access as he spoke.
“Umm..n-no, not at all!” he blurted out, “You‘re welcome to sit here!”
His right hand had reached to his backpack’s center, or Floramon’s mouth to be exact. He knew she had a big mouth considering some situations and this was on of them. The Digimon disgruntle about the sudden censoring as it muffled at that moment, but nevertheless, he tried to focus on the usual goal of staying calm around Hitomi. She seemed perfectly aware of his “state’ even though her affections could be overbearing and he himself would not know how to respond to her and their daily routine. It still boggled his mind how she seemed to persistent and interested in being around him.
It was a really complicated “relationship.” Xenneth had thought of the young woman who moved to the school nothing but a friend considering that she had been friendly towards himself and Rosaline after school. Regardless of the attention she had gotten, along with the reputation to match her flirtatious nature and males who were lined up, she seemed to step away from the line and always given Xenneth some kind of “privilege” he could not take her up on because of his fear of girls. It often made him wonder exactly why she bothered with someone like him?
Was it because he had something she wanted, or maybe it was some kind of secret that girls like her had towards boys like him: a certain fetish that satisfied her?
It would disgust him if it was true, and even deeply scare him. It was most likely one reason why he felt great anxiety when she drew close, but he could not be sure considering he had not put a lot of thought in such a thing unless Hitomi was nearby, and even when she was, he was too busy trying to keep his eye on her to make sure she did not make the “wrong moves’ seeing he was quite weary of her nature based on the reputation. He was not one to be biased, but he was worried as all, and Rosaline’s uneasiness was something he had to consider too.
“Umm….H-Hi-Hitmoi-senpai,” he had spoke, “I-Is there something you need? If you‘re planning to walk with me to school again today, I-I don‘t mind…I‘m just resting right now. I‘m a little sleepy.” he had asked curiously assuming that she had sat with him for that usual motive. He had started to think she had taken him up on the offers because he was so nice to put such an offer that she would snatch off the table to be around him. Her company was not discomforting, but more or less, secure in a “strange” way considering their freckled relationship. ::OOC Notes::IC Attire School Uniform Now Listening To: "Niji" by NirglisChatty Ditz: ---

Any time she got near him, he went into a fit of anxiety. If only she could get rid of his fear of relationships and girls, then everything would be okay. But, she knew about his fear; although he didn't know about her secret she held inside.
She loved him. She never told him outright about her feelings for him, but played with him and made uncomfortable advances to his person. She always had the reputation of a huge flirt, and while she did appreciate all the boys lining up to her, her heart always saved itself for one special person.
However, that one person quickly shied away from her and her presence. Most of it was from his fear, but he probably didn't understand her as well.
"U-Um, thank you for letting me sit here, Xen-kun..." the words reluctantly came from her lips as her cheeks flushed with a warm feeling.
Although, she had to remember her original reason for coming here, besides wanting to be with the boy she loved. She noticed the bulging and shaking pack upon his lap, and could guess what was underneath it.
She shook her head, "Nn-nn, I don't need anything, I-I j-just... want to sit here with you.." She gripped her skirt as she looked downward away from him. She was always playful and flirtatious with him in the past, when other people were around. The moment she got alone time with him, she became nervous and timid.
"..C-Can I-I....show you something, Xen-kun...?" Her arms shifted and wrapped around her messenger bag that also had a similar sized bulge to his pack.
She looked around to see if there was anyone else in the area, and opened the bag because it was clear.
Pointy ears popped out and then back in, and then back out as a pair of yellow eyes looked outside. A white gloved hand gently waved and slipped back inside.
"You don't have to be shy, Impmon, this is the boy I lov--...um..." she cut herself off as her cheeks became a really deep red and her heart raced. "I..."
She cringed, "This is my best friend Xenneth-kun!" as it blurted out of her mouth. Why couldn't she say that she loved him when he was right there next to her? Was it because she knew he would panic? Was it a nice thing to do to keep it from him? Or should she tell him regardless of the consequences...?

[shadow=black,left,300]~Noon[/shadow] "U-Um, thank you for letting me sit here, Xen-kun..."
“She‘s acting funny again…”
Xenneth had thought this regardless of her saying such a thing. Turning his head away slightly with a red blush on his face, he had nodded his head suddenly as his lips begun to part with the intention of telling her she was “welcome” but he could not say anything with the thought crossing his mind about her behavior right now. Why was she always acting as if she had two personalities around him? That question continued to plague him for the longest.
When in public, it seemed different. She had such a confident stride and her body movements were like a caller into the flock. He could stare for a moment and turn away quickly knowing that for some reason, beside the whole flock that flew toward her, she was always plowing through and going to Xenneth. His eyes would try to avoid the contact, but it was inevitable when she had come to him with a smile and her greeting flirtatious words as she had tried to snag him in a playful way. That’s how he thought, but for moment like this, he did not see that comfortable stride or the toss of her hips that would make others flock. He had just saw a shy young woman, a sight that would mystify anyone who knew Hitomi.
"Nn-nn, I don't need anything, I-I j-just... want to sit here with you.."
With a pull of her skirt and Xenneth’s eyes catching her movements, he had found it more unusual that she was not trying to show herself off. Why was it at times like this that he wished he saw that “confident” and “proud” senpai he knew that believed in her self? At he most, he would ask for anything just to see her act out her usual routine and press on with her day after teasing him seeing it was usually her “thing.” However, somewhere faintly, he believed that she most likely was lonely and needed a friend. She had moved to the school a year ago, and bonds were not easy to come by, even with such time.
“No…” he told himself, “…Hitomi-senpai can have any boy she wants, so why is she…always around me?” he had asked.
He had a chance at Hitomi, or at least that’s what he thought, but in reality he told himself she was just a tease. Nothing was mutual in their relationship, and nothing probably would ever come into with them being around each other. They most likely would just be “friends” and nothing more seeing he was not comfortable with women, even those as seductive as Hitomi who was some man’s fantasy in a young woman, and then he was nothing but a little boy who had all the features of a frail existence that even a little “Flower” like Floramon could pick on.
"..C-Can I-I....show you something, Xen-kun...?"
“Huh? S-show me…something?”
Xenneth was surprised as he turned towards the young woman. Of course, seeing this was Hitomi, he had a biased thought cross his mind knowing the young woman. The first thing that came to mind was the thought of her showing him something inappropriate. Of course this made him shutter and want to reply with a hasty “No, thanks” but by the time he could barely manage a word, he had taken notice to the form that peeked form her backpack. The pointy like ears unfamiliar and make his heart race in a slight fear as to what she had kept in the pack. Yellow eyes had glowed from the shaded gloom of the pack as they went to him making him drawback slightly in fear, but he had stopped as he noticed the hand that had been waving towards him.
“W-w-what is that?!” he had asked crying out slightly as he lifted his voice a bit in shock.
"You don't have to be shy, Impmon, this is the boy I lov--...um...I...This is my best friend Xenneth-kun!"
“Best…best friend?”
He had heard her say, but was unsure if she meant it. Sure, they had been hanging out for a while at times when he got to know her, but it was not enough to say she was a “best friend.” After all, he was still thinking he was unworthy of knowing such a person as Hitomi-senpai who had a richly mother and compared to his average lifestyle and her high reputation of being a beauty, he felt plain and ordinary. Forgetting that moment of the strange creature in the backpack, he was suddenly more curious about hteir relationship, but Floramon would not care anymore.
“D-did? Did she say Impmon?!” the Digimon had chattered lowly from the confines of the backpack.
Floramon clearly had taken it as a bad omen as the Flower like Digimon had reached into the backpack and snatched from it the small D-Scanner Digivice that was within it. Her hands tossed it upward as Xenneth had made a snap reaction to catch it wanting to ask if Floramon was out of her mind, but after taking the device in his palm, he had noticed that he screen upon it had begun to show a projection in a circular display while making a repetitive alert that it detected an alien Digimon presence.
“Impmon?” he had said seeing the pictorial display as Floramon had nestled itself back into the backpack with disapproval.
Reading the displayed text, it seemed like a warning because of the device talking about the mischievous nature of the Digimon. However, it was sad that often they could be considered “lonely” because of this nature as well. Based on what Hitomi had said, it seemed to be withdrawn and shy at the moment. He wondered why that was the case then, and if Floramon was just over hesitant about being around the Digimon because of the nature in the text.
With that aside, it had made him process the meaning of this as he gasp at the realization as he looked from Hitomi to her backpack.
“Hitomi-senpai! You have a Digimon?!” he had asked shocked as it was unexpected, including the thought of a Digimon being attracted to her qualities. ::OOC Notes::IC Attire School Uniform Now Listening To: "Niji" by NirglisChatty Ditz: ---

"Mmhm, I have a digimon too." She pointed at Xenneth's bag, showing that she knew he had one as well. When talking about Digimon, her timidness took a back seat because of how much she loves it.
"What digimon do you have, Xen-kun?" Hitomi tilted her head in query. "It sounded kind of upset when I said Impmon's name..."
She hoped that she wouldn't have to fend off whatever digimon that Xenny had. She wanted them to get to know each other, as well as her and Xenneth to become better friends. They can't do that at school because of her overzealous popularity and all the boys chasing after her.
She wants nothing more than to be alone with Xenneth for even just a little while. "...Ne, Xen-kun...?" her cheeks flushed as she bit her lip and stared at him with embarrassed eyes.
"...Do you... want to come Downtown with me after school today..?" Hitomi struggled to keep eye contact with Xenneth, rather than shyly look away with red cheeks.
"I-I... want to be better friends with you. And most of all... I want you to understand me..."
The last statement was spoken in a softer tone, as she finally looked downward, her heart racing from what she just spoke.

[shadow=black,left,300]~Noon[/shadow] "Mmhm, I have a digimon too."
The way she expressed it while he had hugged his bag close, Xenneth had seemed to underestimate exactly what the young woman referred to. He had assumed she did not know about Floramon, but the way she gestured to the bag had thus proved him wrong. He had swallowed deeply, thinking to himself, he wondered if he was that obvious seeing how he had tried to be careful to not to respond too much to Floramon today unless necessary, and even then, he thought he done so without anyone aware of his references to the Flower Digimon. His eyes had fallen upon the female Digimon and traveled back to Hitomi as he seemed in disbelief to how she gathered that much, but she did like Digimon after all. He knew this upon learning about her upon one of those frequent times she had told him about her interests.
Did she really keep an eye on him that much?
"What digimon do you have, Xen-kun? It sounded kind of upset when I said Impmon's name..."
“Oh, Floramon?” he had replied slightly parting the bag opened as he had looked towards the Digimon’s serious glare towards him before giving a hesitant smile. “S-she‘s…always upset.”
They were the complete opposites of each other, and himself and Hitomi were far from seeing each other eye to eye. It was like they were a more blessed union than he and Floramon would be. He seemed to have a knack for attracting people who be around him for strange motives, all except savor Rosaline who he always thought was an angel. Nevertheless, he had been able to tolerate these type of things at the most. He liked lots of different friendships and people, but sometimes he felt so insecure at times that it was uncontrollable to the way his reaction to some people was utter rejection.
"...Ne, Xen-kun...?...Do you... want to come Downtown with me after school today..? I-I... want to be better friends with you. And most of all... I want you to understand me..."
His eyes lifted, his mouth drawing breath. He seemed to be in disbelief to what he just heard. An invitation to town to someone like him from someone like her? Sure, his friendship with Hitomi was there, but he did not think of it genuine. Most of the time, he thought that maybe he was more of a “tag along” rather than anything equal to her. She was older than him, and who was interested in being around shy girlish boys that looked like he did? He was unsure of how to respond the moment she had asked of such a thing.
”Hitomi-senpai…today I‘m…well…”
How could he brush her off? Sure he did plan on going to the Library today. After all, it was bothersome being around town with Floramon and not even knowing anything about her. He wanted to learn more about Digimon like he promised Rosaline that he would. To no extent did he plan on breaking that promise. However, here was Hitomi-senpai, this person reaching out to him, and the scary part was that it sounded serious and not just the usual joking invite that was flirtatious when people were around.
Maybe she was different when people were not there to watch. Maybe she was not the person he truly thought she was?
”Tonight!” he had cried, ”I-I‘m busy today! Ya‘ know, with the Flower Shop and Rosetta, but…I-I‘m sure I‘ll go out with you tonight, before curfew!”
This was a little worse.
Sure he wanted to be nice, but now it did not seem like he wanted to just go out. Late hours usually implied a date. Hitomi wasn’t the exact idea for a night on the town, nor was she someone that would be his first choice, but if she did want to spend time with him and clear up some misunderstandings between them, then shouldn’t he be giving her a chance?
He had relished the thought, placed a gentle and sure smile on his face. He knew Hitomi most likely could come out during the night, and maybe his mother could spare minutes so he could go with her after all. People probably speculated the wrong things about her, and Rosaline seemed to see something beyond reputation seeing she was fond of people who liked Digimon.
What was Hitomi really like anyway? ::OOC Notes::IC Attire School Uniform Now Listening To: "Niji" by NirglisChatty Ditz: ---

"Oh! You have a Floramon? I bet she looks adorable~" Hitomi beamed. However, that beam dissipated when Xenneth reiterated that Floramon was always upset, seeming to have a nasty personality. That wasn't a very cute thing for Floramon to have. "Well, my Impmon isn't evil, so Floramon doesn't have to worry that much." Hitomi gave a weak smile.
Xenneth was busy after school with the family shop and other things. She frowned a little inside, until he exclaimed about going out with her later that night. She smiled as her cheeks flushed with happiness.
"Thank you so much, Xen-kun! I'm so happy that I'll get to spend more time with you.~" her timidness melted a little from her glee as she subconsciously hugged him.
Though, this was a different type of hug than her normal flirtatious hugs where she shoves his head in her chest. This was a genuine hug full of emotion, where she nuzzled her cheek against his and felt as if she didn't want to let go of him. Just then, reality crashed back in and before he would become too anxious, she released her embrace and looked downward, wrapping her arms around herself.
"....Sorry..." she squeaked.
Curfew? she thought after a few moments. "You're lucky to have a curfew, Xen-kun... Mother doesn't even care how long I'm out for, or if I'm gone for long periods of time, she jokes about how much money I made..." She looked away from his loving eyes, feeling embarrassed that her life isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
"I... I envy you, Xen-kun..."
A single tear rolled down her cheek while she sniffled.

[shadow=black,left,300]~Noon[/shadow] "Oh! You have a Floramon? I bet she looks adorable~"
Far from it, especially when she had her “evil” face on and snarling at him when she had thought she ruled the team. It had actually made him feel disgruntle most of the time. He had pressed his lips together, not being able to make a comment as he simply had beamed his awkward smile to it, and from the bag it returned a glare. His lips parted slightly as he had made an awkward laugh to the Digimon before he had ripped his attention away from the Digimon. It was pretty obvious it was a little dangerous to give it all his attention as of right now.
”Well, my Impmon isn't evil, so Floramon doesn't have to worry that much."
Impmon evil? It had not crossed his mind, but he thought “mischievous” just as the Digivice data had said. He was not one to judge or believe in a little device. He did not know anything about Digimon after all, so all he really had done was simply sigh in relief as he looked towards the Digimon. Maybe it was under wraps when it came to the personality of Hitomi. She was pretty tough after all when she needed to be. He could remember she proved it one time to the school seeing of course with a girl like her, she knew how to decline a man, and at times make them aware she meant it. That was only to the imagination seeing he did not see it for his own eyes. They were only rumors.
However, given his modest reply to Hitomi, he had felt a bit overwhelmed all of the sudden as he felt something.
"Thank you so much, Xen-kun! I'm so happy that I'll get to spend more time with you.~"
Was she…hugging him? This was a very bad reaction. His body had felt as if it was woozy, probably going numb the moment he had realized he was in the embrace of Hitomi. Her ample cleavage that was usually a tease to him on his head was now actually pressing against him and he could barely stand that as it was. He had swallowed deeply, his hands lifted slightly to not touch her back and his eyes going straight to see if anyone afar on the school campus was watching or nearby to see his frozen state. His impervious state made it impossible for him to speak or utter a single word.
“O-oh dear..”
He had thought this as his face burned a bright red and his eyes had rolled up to his head as he tried to stay calm.
"....Sorry..."
He had heard her, but not able to speak and say it was okay. Just as quick as she had let him go, he was too busy trying to collect himself. She most likely had realized, or remembered, his discomforting state around young women around his age. The thought that the girl had been so mindful of it this time had made him feel a little “different” seeing it was not like when she playfully embraced him before regardless of who was watching and made it seem like she was staking her claim. Why would she apologize in a more “serious” manner unlike last time?
She was truly acting strange today.
”You're lucky to have a curfew, Xen-kun... Mother doesn't even care how long I'm out for, or if I'm gone for long periods of time, she jokes about how much money I made…I... I envy you, Xen-kun..."
He did not get the gist of what the young woman meant. He had not left things too much to imagination. It would lead to places he did not want to go most of the time. His eyes however, had reacted seeing that one thing roll across Hitomi-senpai’s cheek. That tear; it was something that would shake any heart considering how strong the young woman was, and how carefree she seemed at time. Tears had only brought nothing but concern to his heart, and he could feel it tremble as he reached his right hand to it, closing it as if he was grasping and controlling its rapid beat.
“Hitomi-senpai…”
Different? Strange? At this point, it did not matter. That much was true as he had reacted to Hitomi’s tears. His right hand that selfishly drew itself out of fear from the young woman had reached out to that very cheek. Floramon whose eyes peeked from her backpack had kept her gaze towards him, watching in slight astonishment seeing that she had to see it first hand, that part of him being a ditz that his sister had spoke so fondly of that she never could imagine. It was like that night when they had first met, so dumbstruck with fear, he had only intended to be the one to risk life and limb to check the device rather than to return it to his sister who most likely would be at risk.
Xenneth’s finger had aimed to brush away the cheek, and his expression changed to a light smile upon trying to wipe her eyes.
“D-don’t envy me Hitomi-senpai.” he had spoke, “R-really, I feel bad…that I can’t be more like you.”
To what Hitomi had for a life, prior to what secrets she revealed, he could not see that mostly. He did see that she was strong and very confident with herself, including her beauty. It was more than he could say for himself however as he felt every day that he was given an inappropriate body and face for a boy. He had preferred to be one of those handsome figures that everyone would admire and flock to like a hero, and not the frail appearance of a heroine, or the attitude to add to that since he did not have the attitude of a brave hero. He was like a delicate wall flower that only sat back and wished, hope, dreamed even. Not even realized that most of all those wishes were not just made, but he aimed to see them through at times seeing he had such a strong will to go through with things, no matter the task.
He only wish that unlike his zombie like state where he followed his heart willingly, that he could say things, mean it, and go through with the confidence to back it up. ::OOC Notes::IC Attire School Uniform Now Listening To: "Niji" by NirglisChatty Ditz: ---

“D-don’t envy me Hitomi-senpai. R-really, I feel bad…that I can’t be more like you.”****** Her heart flustered the moment his finger touched her cheek. She was in complete bliss at this time. If only he could forget about his fear and hold her in his arms. That was all she would need in this world to be complete. "...Xenneth-kun..." Just then, she realized something she should have a very long time ago. He had been calling her senpai the entire time he's known her. Even though they were a year older, they were in the same class. "...Ne. ...Would it be too much to call me -chan?" she gave a faint smile to him, to show that his consoling didn't go in vain. A rush of warmth flooded her body as she could feel his faint love. It wasn't as if he loved her in return, but she could feel he cared about her. And that made her happy. She sniffed once again and gathered herself from her slight breakdown. However, she in turn placed her hand on his cheek and gave it a simple, single soft stroke as she smiled. She shook her head, "Xen-kun, you're fine the way you are. You're a sweet person who protects those close to him, and you are very kind to someone like me... who continues to tease you and embarrass you without thought. ...You're a stronger person than you think." She grabbed his hand and placed it on her rushing heart. "This...fear you have, it's... it's just all in your head, I think. Just now, you wiped my tear from my cheek without second thought, even though you have that fear. "If the fear was really deep, you wouldn't have been able to. When you really put your mind to it, you can get rid of your fear." She had no idea where she was going with this conversation, and if it kept up, she would probably blurt out that she loved him. And then he would fluster and panic. Mustering up the need to comfort her had put away his fear temporarily. If she continued to talk to him about herself and get to know him, perhaps he would ease up around her. Maybe it's not a fear, but a subconscious caution mechanism to prevent himself from getting hurt. "Xen-kun... i-if you want to be like me.. that is, have some sort of confidence, I... can try and help you." She removed her timidness and looked at his eyes with seriousness. "However, I truly believe that you are stronger than you think you are.. you don't need to be like anyone else. You have it all inside you. If you feel you need me to help find yourself, I will help you. Because, Xen-kun, I....I-I-I-I-I....l-l-lo..." She took a deep resolving breath and said those words that she has kept to herself ever since she first began to know him. "Xen-kun I love you!"Hitomi's eyes were shut tight and her cheeks were a deep flushed red as she laid out her heart in front of him that she had only given partially to him with her constant teasing. When she opened her eyes, she realized that she had finally blurted it out in the open and almost panicked and ran away, but instead bit her lip and looked downward, catching his eyes, as she wasn't sure if he would panick and run away also, or if he would freeze, or change the subject... No matter the outcome, he finally knew her secret. It was up to him of what to do with it. Knowing what she knows of him, she may have to tell him a second time later that night because of the shock.
