Kaz woke up after a night of a little to no sleep, he was thinking about what he was about to embark on, it was completely new for him, other people. He had mix feelings about this day both a feeling of fear as he didn’t do that will around people, and excitement of seeing how the other half lives. He was far more advanced than he needed to be for school, the fact was he would be able to graduate any time he wanted. But he was going to fallow the plan his dad had set out for him, he was going to graduate from this school just like all the other kids his age and start becoming more adapted to normal life. In his mind he could never be normal as he was still getting tutored at home after school and he is never allowed to miss his daily Iaido training sessions. Although he did like the Iaido, and was really good at it, to the point were he need greater and greater masters to keep up with his progress. But he would like to go with out the tutoring for a wile so he could have some free time.
His mind was bogged down by the thoughts of what could happen, would he do something to get the whole school hating. That was is biggest fear becoming a leaper with no foreseeable friend, not that he had had them before but he felt it was time to get them. Even with all these thought flowing around in his head he got up and got ready for his first day, his cloths were a no brainer, but what was truly hard for him to figure out was what would he put in his back pack. He had many books he wanted to bring and with him not being able to bring them all he had a hard time deciding. He ended up bring the couple of advanced mathematics books, theological physics and A novel he had read a million times but he never got tired of it. With the books in his bag he tossed in his digimon cards and scanner that he had gotten but haven’t since been able to use, as he didn’t have the time or another person to play with. So with his bagged backed he took one last look around his room to make sure he was not for getting anything. With everything he need in his bag or on the table next to him he had everything. So he put his wallet in his pocket, then threw his back pack on his back, slid his katana and sheath into the spot he had made for it and picked up his i-pod and was on his way out of his house.
He made his way to the car he always had waiting for him, and it took him to school, the closer he got the more he wanted to go home but he new if he did he would never forgive himself. So once the care pulled up to the school he took a deep breath and got out, to a crowed of people watching and wondering who it was in a fancy car like he had just stepped out of. People just stared for a little will as Kaz walking threw the crowed, he just tried to ignored all there little comments as he headed for the front office. I hope people don’t act this way all day.

Whoah... Who is he... And wow... What a car!
Chiaki stared as she watched Kaz step out of his car. She was just as surprised as everyone else who also seemed to be staring at the car, although, unlike everyone else, she had no one to gossip or talk to about it. Unlike all many of them, this was her first day at this school. She had only just recently moved from Okinawa where she had been living for some time now with her parents. Only recently had they gotten a better business opportunity and moved their small bakery to Tokyo where it could be much larger.
She could tell by the way everyone was responding to him, that it was his first day at the school. If it weren't, everyone would probably be used to it by now. This meant that, like her, he was a new student, which also meant that, like her, he probably didn't have any friends yet. This made her happy. Maybe she would be able to introduce herself to him and make her first friend at school. That would be better than introducing herself into some already made group or trying to join someone's posy.
And not only does he have a really cool car... but he's kind of cute...
She giggled to herself in such a girlish fashion before forcing herself to be a bit less immature and more serious. She watched him as he walked past her with a warm smile. She tried to contain herself and stay back so that maybe she could meet him later. He looked like he was serious or had some task or objective already on his mind, but she couldn't wait. She had to introduce herself now.
"Hey! Wait!"
She walked quickly to catch up to him. She still carried her warm smile, although it probably made her look more giddy than anything else, which she was today. The first day of school was like the start of a new adventure, and nothing excited her more than an adventure. Her mission in this adventure wasn't actually even to do well in school, but more importantly, to make friends and meet new people, and she would tackle this adventurous mission just as she tackled everything else; with aggression.
"Hey! Are you new?!" she asked as she finally caught up to him.

Kaz walked with his headphones around his neck and was just about to put them on his ears, and drown out the crowed with is much loved music. But just as he was about to put his headphones on he heard “Hey! Wait!”. The voice made him turn his head swiftly to the location of the noise; it was a girl making a beeline for him. This stated to worry him, he was thinking of running into the school and losing here. But then he remembered he was here to make friends, and other people are just like him. So instead of running he waited for this girl to catch up to him, he was on edge as normal he just watched others do thing and never got close to them.
She got to him fairly quickly calm down its just a girl, you will have to be around them for the rest of your life so you might as well get used to it now. He thought to himself hoping to help clear up the big lump the was forming in his throat.
“Hey! Are you new?
“Umm kind of I guess, I have been living here for as long as I remember but it’s the first time I have been to this school, its kind of a weird place, I have never been around this many younger people. Well not all of them are younger but I mean younger then the adults I see, but now that I think of it most of the people I have seen seem to be younger, or are acting like they are.” He was doing it again, luck this time it was only over talking, he was just thankful he didn’t start talking about things people thought was weird. “So am I new, yes I am” he said trying to force the words that just wanted to fallow those words back down. I need to find some way to stop doing that Kaz felt so bad that some one who could do so much couldn’t control how much he talked to people when he just met them.
“Um so are you new here? I don’t know why you would be your dad is not some rick overprotective distant father that wants what’s best even if its not, your probably some popular girl that is nice to make the new guy welcome. Or you’re a person that just want to hang with me because of the money I have, your not are you?” There he went again, I should have never started talking, I bet she just walks a way after glaring at me for what I said.

She attempted to hold her smile as she listened to him seemingly ramble on. The question she had asked wasn't actually that much, but he went on much longer. She didn't really mind it, it was just kind of hard to hold her smile and listen to all of that at the same time, so her smile began to dissolve.
"Yeah. I'm new here too," she said in response to the question he had returned to her. My dad is overprotective sometimes, but that's not the reason I'm new. Actually, I just moved here from Okinawa not too long ago. My family owned a business there... a bakery to be more exact.... but we moved the business here so we could make more money. It was a better business opportunity."
She tilted her head slightly to the side. She didn't want to ramble on too long without giving him the opportunity to say anything, although she did enjoy talking about herself a lot, especially her family. She hoped that maybe he would be interested in her bakery and would stop by sometime. As it was new, all publicity was good publicity, and she would probably end up talking about it quite a bit.
"By the way, you can call me Chiaki-chan," she said, not only saying this so that he would know her name, but also so that he would know that there was no need to be formal with her. She wanted her relationships to be more intimate and free. She didn't really enjoy formalities between people her own age, even if she had only just met them. Regardless, she didn't mind hand shakes. She held her right hand out for him to take it.
"It's nice to meet you."

Kaz hated making people feel awkward, but it was something he did very well and often, so the whole time he had been speaking he knew that this girl felt wired. It was nice of her to over look the rambling and keep talking to him most people just thought there was something wrong with him and left as soon as they could. But she seemed different, she was nice and wasn’t above talking a little much herself.
She was talking about her back story with out even flinching at the bit about his back story he told her. She was just as new as he was, but in the normal way she moved here and wasn’t sent here to work out problems with being social. She had came with her families bakery, he had never been to a bakery or anywhere really and he was certainly not allowed to have anything that bad for him, he was at the pinnacle of heal. He had a team of people keeping him that way, his meals were prepared by the finest chefs and he was tended to by renowned doctors.
She then introduced herself as Chiaki-chan which was different then Kaz was used to as all the people he talked to expected formalities and the whole ten yards. She then extended her hand to be shook and said it was nice to meet him. Kaz’s eyes went right to the extended hand, making him freeze for a couple seconds then once he could move again he introduced himself “Nice to meet you I am Kazuo-can, or Kaz-can which every you would like, it doesn’t matter to me but my dad doesn’t like it when I use the short form, and I will stop talking now before I ramble on.” He then extended his hand out and slowly griped her hand, with a soft but firm grip as he had been show by his edict teacher. Then shook is a little up and down a couple of times before releasing his grip, to reach into his pocket for his I-pod to check the time. It was a few minutes till first period and he need to get his timetable. “So would you mind if we ether continued this another time or do it as we are walking I need to report to the office before class and then to class, and I don’t want to be late. I was told that it was very rude to be late, sometimes better late then never doesn’t work, like at plays, or for formal dinner, not like you would know what that like.” He new that he would come off a little rude and stuck up but sometimes he couldn’t keep all his thoughts in his head.

"Umm... Yeah... Of course.."
She cranked her head forcefully in order to nod, as she began walking with him toward the office. She wondered what his deal was exactly, as far as making the accusation about her not knowing about formalities and more upper-class types of things. She actually found it a bit offensive what he had said. She looked away from him, crossing her arms and holding her head up stubbornly. Her cheeks were flushed red.
Well... I went to a formal dinner once! she thought defensively. Well... I bet he doesn't understand what it's like to work for a bakery!
Chiaki forced herself to calm down. She could feel that she was losing her temper. She took a deep breath and forced what he had said out of her mind. She was a relatively easy person to upset when certain things were said, however at the same time, it was relatively difficult to get her to do something about her feelings. She rarely showed any of her negative feelings, and she could keep them hidden fairly well.
Regardless... she now found herself with lack of words. She couldn't think of what to say that wouldn't be a rude retaliation to what he had said. She really didn't want to start things off on the wrong foot with him. Despite what he said, she would force herself to get over it quickly. She would force herself to continue speaking, and went with the first thing that came to her mind.
"A-... Are you single?"

Kaz noticed a bit of a change in her after what he had said, he new it was wrong and should have know better then to think something like that out loud but he couldn’t help it. He felt the urge to apologize but he then thought that apologizing might make things worse, like he was taking pity on her or something. He didn’t want to make her any more angered than she seemed to be at this, he was on the other hand surprised that she did start tarring into him. He had done this before and most of the people would go off in a fit of anger telling him how they have been to plenty of dinners, saying they now the formalities well. But she didn’t she seemed to keep her cool and keep going as if it didn’t happen, so he decided to take her lead and let it just blow over.
He next question was way out of left field, “A-… Are you single?” he had never been asked that question, no one had any need. He had never been out with anyone, and had no real interest in dating any girls; they just had no appeal to him. He had always thought of himself with another boy, something about it just seemed right to him. He liked the way hey looked, talked and even the sent of most. “Well ya I am single very single, I have never been on a date, or even a night out with friend, heck I don’t think I have ever made a friend, until now with any hope I would like you to be the first one. How about you are you seeing anyone right now, I’m sure you are why would a nice girl like you not have boyfriend. But then again you did just move so you may not have one anymore… sorry rambling again well are you single?”

"Hm?"
She blushed slightly at his statements about how he thought a nice girl like her would have a boyfriend. She wondered if that meant he liked her. She was surprised, but she already felt some kind of connection with him, which was quite possibly turning into a mini-crush. She didn't know him well, but he was cute. And something else that contributed a lot to this crush-sensation she felt, although she didn't know it herself, was the fact that she had suspicions that he had money, a nice car, and lead an upper class life. She probably wouldn't think about that so overtly herself, but him being wealthy was probably a large factor in this crush she was already developing. If she knew she were being so shallow, she would have slapped herself on the wrist and walked away.
"Well... No... I don't have a boyfriend."
She wondered if he had asked whether or not she had a boyfriend because he was interested in her. Maybe he was... maybe he wasn't. She looked away from him shyly, still blushing, although this time for a different reason. As she walked, she held her arms crossed over her chest as though somehow that made her seem less vulnerable, which she was had been feeling at the moment.
"I never have actually... Although there were a couple boys I liked in my neighborhood back when I was younger... but we were much too young."

Kaz wasn’t surprised that she didn’t have anyone, not because there was something wrong with her just because moving tends to make people break up. But what was more she hand never dated anyone like him, he was happy that he was not the only one that hadn’t dated before. Then she started to blush over all that had just happened and turned and crossed her arms just like before, is she mad again, what did I do this time, dose everyone act like this when you ask if they have dated anyone. Kaz was oblivious to most thing about conversations, and body language was lost on him as well.
Kaz was worried that he made her angry at him, he want to apologize but like before something stopped him, this time it wasn’t that he felt it would make things worse. It was a feeling that he was wrong about what he thought, she wasn’t mad, and since his gut hadn’t steered him wrong yet he went with it. Lucky he did as she was not mad she was just bashful over him asking her, and thinking it was sweet that he thought she would have one because she was so nice.
When she said she had never had but like some when she was too young to date it got him thinking about his relations ships when he was younger. “I don’t think I ever found anyone around me cute when I was younger, well unless you count TV characters some of them were quite cute as you say, but I don’t think I would have ever had a shot with them even if they did live were I did, knew who them in real life, or could even talk to them with out going on an on saying the same thing in as many was as I could think of, with out thinking.” He was thinking of the leading men on shows back when he was twelve, as they were the only people he had ever seen out side teacher and masters.
As he thought the two of them neared the office, and as they reached it, Kaz with out even thinking about it opened the door and gestured for her to go in first. He had done this for many a female, most of the time they were more elderly clients his father dealt with and they thought it was just adorable when he did so.

She slowly cranked her head back toward him to see him now, although her cheeks were still as rosy red as before. So he hadn't thought anyone was cute when he was growing up. It was likely he, like her, had never been in a relationship. She wondered though, now that they were in high school, perhaps it was time for things to change. Maybe, here at high school she would find her first boyfriend and have her first taste of romance. The thought of that made her jittery. She thought that may be one of the most exciting aspects of high school.
She walked through the door shortly after he opened it for her. Even though his attitude was slightly off sometimes, he was certainly a gentlemen. She wondered if there was a possibility he just hadn't been taught how to speak with people and what not to say. After all, he did seem to show a decent amount of courtesy. He had learned how to respect people, so someone had been teaching him something.
"Um... Thank you."
She stepped into the hallways of this high school for the first time. There were students gathered around in different places, they all had their own little cliques it seemed. Actually, she herself wanted to be part of one, but she reasoned with herself that it would be better to just let it happen naturally. That was the difference between being new as a first-year and being new later on. When you were new for the freshmen year, no cliques had really formed yet, and everyone felt new, however, if you were new later on, everyone already had his or her own group of friends and didn't expand out too easily. She wondered if she would be able to find new friends.
