[Kouryuu]

Kouryuu was tired of her day and decided to take a break. Even if she just started started to get used to Japan- it would be pleasant to rest down if she take a break now and rest her wary mind. So here she was clad in a lime green and teal sundress decorated with white lilies and saddles on her feet. A straw wide brim hat was on her hat. Her teal green hair was blowing in the wind. It was a beautiful day perfect for fun!

She pulled out a mat and tossed it onto the sand. She plopped open her umbrella and sat into the shade. Ah what a nice relaxing day! She sat down into the shade of her umbrella and pulled out a book and began reading it. As she pulled her book out- her old Card Reader came out. Out was next to it was a Blue Card. 'Hm....I known I never seen this card before.' Kouryuu thought as she statred at the card with curiosity.

"Hmm...I wonder what it does." Kouryuu stated out loud and stared at the Blue Card. Giving a shrug- she slid it down her Card Reader. Nothing happened at all- nothing came up! "Geeze...What a dud. I wonder what that card was for anyway." Kouryuu grunted as she tossed the card/card reader into her bag and began to take a nap. Little did she know what was happening...

Takato wasn't anyone to go somewhere alone, especially a place like the beach where he'd usually go in a large group. But he'd been moping around the house too much for his mother to stand much more of, so she forced him to take a trip to the beach for the day as a way to gather his thoughts and try to become more at ease. How could he be at ease if he was on forced relaxation?

He laid a towel down on the soft, yet coarse sand, sliding off his white t-shirt as he prepared to lie down. His skin was rather pasty looking, more so now than ever, not that his skin had ever been too white before. A slight browning would do him some justice, even though he wasn't too into looks. There were children running about, tossing disks at eachother and building sand castles, a rather peaceful sight indeed.

"Hm. At least it's a nice day." He said before slipping his shaded goggles, designed for days such as this, over his eyes as he closed his eyes to take a quick power nap.

[Kouryuu]

Kouryuu was just begining to take her nap. When suddenly her a bright flash of blue light came explosion of smoke. A loud beeping sound came from her bag- much to her suprise. So she opened her bag and much to her suprise something new was there. There- her card reader was glowing a bright navy blue color.

It flashed again and turned into a weird green,blue, and black device. "Huh....What is this thing?" Kouryuu stated as she holded the device infront of her eyes. She fiddled with the buttons and a compass like function displayed on it. One was a white dot and another was a red dot. Curious enough- the white dot seem located in a cave near the beach.

On the other hand- the red dot was near by. To a kid lying by relaxing to be exact. Curiousity confused her and she walked over to the kid and gave out a loud cough. "Excuse me? Do you know THIS Is? You seemed to be displayed on this device. Along with something else..." With that said she holded the device infront of his face.

Takato woke to the sight of a young girl around his age flaunting a digivice in his face, asking what it was and why he was being displayed on it. Still a bit drowsy, Takato could only reply in small bursts of coherence. "Huh...what..." The boy yawned as he sat up, noticing that there was a small crab scuttling across his lap. He flicked the small crab off with only one shot, flinging the crab off of his light blue swim trunks which caused it to slam into the sand.

Another one? How many more new digidestined were there? He's already met a small handful already, there was no doubt in his mind that there could have been more lurking in the shadows, waiting to be found and possibly, waiting to pick fights with the others. But this one, like the others, weren't exactly sure how these sorts of things worked and how things were really like with digimon. He had an opportune moment to explain things to her and possibly see if she knew anything.

"Huh..well. I'm Takato. What's your name?" He said, tilting his head to the side, not answering her question in the slightest. It seemed that people were just asking him questions anymore, not really caring about the person behind the answers.

[Kouryuu]

"Heh...Opps! Sorry about that. The name is Kouryuu Ryuuza." Kouryuu stated sheepishly. She blinked and pointed at her device. "I am sorry about being rude. I am just wondering what this device is. For you see- my brother had one for a while. However it stopped functioning one day....."

"He had this blue dog thing with boxing gloves with him for a while. However he tried to persuade me it was a plushie. Of course- I never believed him." Kouryuu snorted and gave a shrug. She remembered those days- those days were when her brother didn't zone out of space. Instead he seemed more alive.

"I snuck out after him one night....But I saw this white devil thing- one that seemingly looked like a Devimon destroy the blue dog thing-who looks similar to a Gaomon." Kouryuu sighed with a depressed look on her face. She couldn't believe what she saw- but it was true. "Then the white demon absorbed my brother's friend."

"Sorry about my ranting....It seemed boring right?" Kouryuu stated with a grin on her face. She couldn't she spilled the beans infront of a stranger. He probably thought she was insane. Digimon aren't real right? "Anyhow...Can you explain what this device is? My brother kept saying it is not important....But now I got one: can you explain what it is?"

"Nice to meet you, Kouryuu." Takato smiled genuinely, until he chuckled a bit before answering her. "Oh it's okay. You're not being too rude. It just seems like I'm the guy with all the answers lately." A blush rose up upon his cheeks as he laughed again, nervous about the entire situation before him.

The young teen's eyes widened as he listened to her. To her, she seemed to be ranting on forever, but to him, he had just heard a fairly interesting story. That's how he was, he loved to listen to others and loved to pay attention to details. Every last part of her colorful story was now engraved into his head forever. "So your brother was a tamer too? Aww cool. My friend Henry and his sister are tamers too."

Takato thought for a moment. The story he was told had been rather, sad, but he tried to not to fret. "I didn't think it was ranting. I thought it was interesting. I feel sorry for your brother's digimon....I don't know what I would do..if.... oh well never mind. But that thing you've got there is known as a digivice, though I never keep mine with me...You must have picked up some of the other digimon I've been around with earlier this week..Wait...you know that digimon are real then right?"

Takato didn't really know what to say, considering he had been pretty much been attacked out of nowhere with her questions.
