It was a quiet time in the forest, nothing really strange was going on. The sound of birds and chipmunks could be heard echoing in the calm forest. The sky was clear, the bluest blue then it has been for awhile. A perfect day for a picnic. In fact there was a couple having a pinic in the secluded forest. Both of the age of 16 were enjoying each other company, talking and eating, as well as a hug now and then.
But little did the couple know that a fog was appearing above them, little did they know that they would be seeing something that very few people do get to see. Above the couples head appeared a digital field. Something green started to form above them. It had red gloves and hollow eyes and mouth. It was a Togemon (for those none digimon fanatics)!
As soon as the couple noticed the Togemon above them her feet fell next to each side of them. They let out a terrifed scream as they ran away from the Togemon. The Togemon looked around worried and said, "Hello~, Children, Where are you, we must head back to the school~."

"Beep beep! Beep beep!"
"Marik-kun... My Digivice..."
Shana held her digivice in her right hand. She stared at it in question. This was the first time it had ever started to beep like this. In addition to the beeping, it seemed to be pointing somewhere else in the forest, but where would it be trying to lead them? It had never done anything like this before, but there was one thing she was certain of; it had to be related to Digimon in some way shape or form. It was almost a pity though, Shana had been looking forward to spending this romantic evening in private with Marik and his Digimon, but it seemed that had been ruined by some type of Digital interference.
"I think that it means a Digimon is nearby... But if we must go, we have to be careful. It might want to fight."
"Fight?!" Shana quickly shot up to her feet from having been lying back against Marik's chest. No matter how romantic this evening could have been, she wouldn't blow the chance to get to fight with a real live Digimon who actually wanted to fight. All the fights she had tried to have so far had been ruined or were only one-sided, but this one would have to be perfect. Besides, if it were a wild Digimon without a tamer, it didn't have anyone to get in the way of her trying to fight it... so long as Marik would approve. Shana turned to face him.
"Umm... Marik-kun, can we go fight it?! Pleeaaaaase?"
Without actually waiting for much of an answer, she reached down to help him up, although if he did say no, she would still stay there with him. After all, they were kind of on a date and she wouldn't want to upset him.

Love.
It was strange, how it defied logic, to bring two completely different people together. Common sense would have placed him miles away from Shana and her aggressive personality. He hated fighting. He hated bullies. He hated anything that disturbed the peace senselessly. Yet, here he was, Laying in the grass with the girl's personality seemed to be made up of all of those things he hated. When he first met her he couldn't imagine wanting to be near her again.
His second meeting with her though, he caught a glimpse of something different. A much calmer individual, someone much kinder than the Shana he had met at Shinjuku Park. That was the Shana he fell in love with. The part of Shana that made him never want to imagine being without her. He wanted it back. It had gone though, with the removal of the cast that seemed to be blocking out the harsh side of her.
Maybe he was a bit naive to think he could make it so she could stay that way. Like some school girl dreaming about some tough mean guy with the wish to some how change him to be a good person. But was it really changing her? It seemed like it was already there. She was a nice girl around him. Her problem was with others, with whom she always wanted a fight. Anyone but himself, her pleasant attitude was blocked out by this wall of aggression. Why was that though?
Beep beep beep.
Marik was pulled out of his thoughts the the sudden beep from both his own and Shana's digivice. He pulled out his D-arc, and examined it. The screen had activated on its own, and an arrow was now pointing into the trees, not unlike when he had first found Kudamon. Aruraumon's statement just confirmed his suspicion. But of course, Aruraumon just had to mention the f-word, and at that, Shana had shot up like a cannon, begging to go fight it.
While he disliked fighting himself, he knew there were times it was necessary. But this might not be a necessary fight. It could be, it might not. If it wasn't. he didn't want a fight. "We'll check it out. If a fight is necessary to protect ourselves and the city, than fine. But if this can be resolved peacefully, I'd like to have the issue solved that way." He said, allowing her to pull him up on his feet. Once he was upright, he looked up the tree above them. "Kudamon! Theres a digimon nearby. Lets go check it out."
Kudamon blinked down at his tamer from the branch he was perched on. He was looking forward to a bit of a nap, but he figured this encounter might be interesting. "Coming." He responded, sliding off his branch, and flying over to land on Marik's shoulder. Marik then headed off deeper into the forest, following the direction his D-arc was pointing to. It didn't take long though for him to walk into a cloud of fog. He could hear screams in the distance, but he didn't let it deter him.
He continued walking foward through the clouded area. It soon became clearer, and his digivice was beeping more urgently, indicating the digimon was right in front of him, and indeed it was. A large green digimon that looked more like a cactus with punching gloves than anything else. Marik clicked the button on his digivice to analyze the digimon. Togemon. Vegetation Digimon. The digivice piped. Looking up again, he wasted no more time. "Togemon, might I ask, what is your business here?" He inquired, his tone even and neutral.

"Oh me, oh my, the students must be in terrible trouble here. After all, they are only In-training....I hope the little dears are okay." said Togemon. From what Togemon could tell, this was not the digital world, meaning that this was the human world. This would be very bad for the students, for what she had heard only a few digimon every return to the digital world after coming here.
She turned as a small digimon walked up to her. She looked at him and saw another digimon standing next to them. She then said, "Hello, my name is Togemon, you two look like your at the rookie level....Ummm....Have you seen any In-training digimon around? There my students and I'm looking for them..."

"YAY!"
Shana was hopping in anticipation for the fight with whatever Digimon had appeared. She was so glad that Marik was willing to allow her to fight it, although she wasn't even sure if she could have stopped herself from going if he had refused. She wasted no time in pulling Marik up and following him in the direction of the Digimon that had appeared. She hoped that the Digimon they would be fighting would at least be champion. It had to be a challenge or it wouldn't even be worth it. Not when she had Aruraumon and her trading cards. It wasn't long before the two of them reached the Togemon.
"What?! No time for talk! It's fightin' time!"
Without really listening to what Togemon had to say, Shana ran toward it with her fists clenched. She then quickly planted her fist into the Digimon's foot with enough precision not to hit a needle.
"Shana!! Wait.. But it could be strong!"
Aruraumon shouted as she jogged to catch up with Shana and Marik. She could tell Shana was excited. She only hoped that things would get too dangerous. No matter what she couldn't allow for Shana to get hurt. She quickly ran up behind Shana.
"Oh no! Shana! Be careful!"

Marik listened intently to what the Togemon had to say. Students? Intraining level digimon? The Togemon seemed seemed to be some sort of Digimon Teacher. He relaxed, content that this digimon was not about to attack them. So her students were missing. Marik was about to respond, when Shana suddenly called out her battle cry. "Shana stop!" Marik shouted. Too late though, she had already gone and punched the Togemon. He ran forward, grabbing both of her arms and dragging her backward away from Togemon. "Shana please, she doesn't want a fight! Besides, digimon cannot be harmed by human attacks!" He said to Shana, exasperatedly.
While Marik was busy holding Shana back, Kudamon slipped off his shoulders to confront Togemon. "Please forgive her actions. Though the girl is quick to jump the gun, we do not desire any fight." He explained, apologizing for Shana. "As for your missing students, we have not encountered them. If they bio-emerged here with you, they'll still be confined to the digital field. If they didn't arrive with you, they are likely still in the digital world." The chances of two separate bio-emerges occuring at the same time so close together were extremely slim, and even slimmer was the chance of any specific digimon bio-emerging. So if they weren't within the digital field, it would be extremely likely that the Togemon's students weren't in the human world at all.
Marik nodded in agreement with Kudamon. Though he himself didn't know much about how digimon passed from the digital world to the human world, it did make sense according to what Kudamon had taught him. "We'll have a look around. What are your students' names?" Marik asked. He slackened his grip on Shana so that his hands were just resting on her shoulders, but he was still prepared to pull her back again should she try attacking Togemon again.

Togemon gave a little laugh when the little digimon attacked her foot. There was absolutely no power behind it. Maybe they were In-training as well. She then heard the taller one call the shorter one, Shana...So her name was Shanamon. What a diffrent name that was.
She looked at the taller one as for her students name, she began to think and said, "Well, There's Tokomon, Kapurimon, Otamamon, and Koromon."
Tokomon then looked around before saying, "Shanamon and...I didn't get your name. Are you two In-training digimon or rookies?

"Hey! No! Let go of me!" Shana screamed as Marik pulled her back. She struggled to get him to release her, but was unable to do so without hitting him, but she restrained herself from going to such desperate measures and only flailed around in for a while before calming down, at which point he let go of her and rested his hands on her shoulder. She, however, was still anxious to fight, but she decided to listen to Marik for now.
"Fine... But if she so much as says something with a semblance of offense in nature, we're fighting."
Aruraumon walked forward to the Togemon so that she was standing before her. It was kind of sad how lost and confused the Togemon was. She knew absolutely nothing about what was going on around here. Aruraumon looked up to her with a warm smile, slightly tilting her head, but after only a moment, the smile dispersed.
"But... you're not in the Digital World anymore... and your kids are not in this world... probably.."

Kotemon, Otamamon, Koromon and Tokomon. Marik pondered, pulling out his digivice and flicking through its databases. Four intraining level pokemon, all no bigger than a soccer ball. But the area was pretty small, and if they were around, they would have likely come at the Togemon's call. But then again, intraining level digimon were like children, and they might not be as compliant as he would like to think. Aruraumon and Kudamon were right though, they likely weren't here.
However, he did say he would look, so he wondered about the the borders of the field, eyes sharp for any thing that might be a digimon hiding. Kudamon hovered around as well, but did so half-heartedly, knowing he probably wouldn't find anything. Marik poked through bushes and Kudamon poked around the bases of trees, but all either of them found was dust and "Okay, they are definitely not here." Marik concluded, scratching the back of his head. "What now?" He asked, not quite sure where to go from here.
Kudamon thought for a moment. They really couldn't just leave the Togemon here. Even if it wasn't hostile, people would still panic if they discovered a giant walking talking cactus. "Well, she needs to go back to the digital world." But questions just rose from there, particularly, how to get her back to the digital world? Hostile digimon could simply be fought and defeated, but he couldn't do that to an innocent digimon. "Finding a portal to send her back would be the best course of action, though the things are quite rare." Kudamon suggested. A portal would be difficult to find, but it would beat the alternative of fighting Togemon and have her reconfigured in the digital world.
