Innocence

Marik couldn't recall how long he had spent in the shower after being assaulted by some disgruntled boy's Pabumon. Hours probably. Getting the gunk out of his hair had been hell itself. He swore he had a few bald patches now from scrubbing so hard and pulling on the hairs stuck in goo.

But that was a week ago. He just hoped he didn't run into the boy again, he was mental. Today though, was a much happier day. Shana's ankle had healed very quickly, and now she was walking again. To celebrate her recovery, he had decided to take her to Yosuba Land for some fun and games.

"30 tickets please." Marik said to the woman running the ticket booth, handing her the money to pay for it, and receiving a decent roll of tickets in return. He then walked with Shana to the middle of the path, looking around to see what was around. "So what would you like to do first?" He asked her, giving her first choice.

Now that her leg was healed, Marik had insisted that he take her to the park. Normally, letting him do something like this for her wasn't exactly her style, but since he had insisted so strongly, she decided she would let him take her to the park. Not only was this not really her style of dating, but she really wasn't that interested in going to a park. She would have preferred to go see something more exciting... like professional wrestling... then again, she had never actually been to a park before.

"I don't know... Ummm... What is there to do here?" she asked.

"Well there's..." Marik began, looking around the park. There was a lot there, and it was difficult to name off good ones that she might like. He could already sense that this wasn't exactly something she wanted to do, but he had to keep going now. It was way too late to change his mind at this point. "For rides theres the roller coaster, bumper cars, drop zone, ferris wheel... Or we could get some games like the ring toss, skeeball, whack-a-mole... theres a bunch of stuff." He said, scratching his head nervously.

Shana continued to walk with her boyfriend, but still, she couldn't decide on what she wanted to do. It all sounded so boring she couldn't decide of which she wanted to do first... and there was nothing that sounded as though it had any action involved. No videogames, nothing.

"Shana! Wait up!" said the familiar voice of Shana's partner Digimon, Aruraumon.

"What are you doing here?!" Shana asked as she turned around and faced her. Aruraumon stopped before Shana, dressed in her usual disguise. She wore one of Shana's old purples dresses which extended down to her feet. And over her head she wore a chinese style conical hat to cover her flower on her head and her eyes.

"You were supposed to stay at home!"

Smooth move Marik. Marik thought miserably. Well, maybe she would start enjoying things once they got going. But she didn't seem to be able to make a decision. He thought over the different things they could do here. She did like aggressive things... Bumper Cars seemed right for that interest. He was about to suggest it, when a distraction arrived in the form of an oddly short woman in a purple dress and conical hat arrived. "Aruraumon." said Kudamon, poking his head out of Marik's collar.

Marik looked back at the short woman, who was indeed, Aruraumon, now that he got a better look at her. It was strange for her to be out though, as Shana usually kept her at home. But he couldn't exactly blame her for wanting to come. The park was a fun place to go, at least for most people.

However, Shana didn't seem all too happy to see her partner here. "I doubt people will be able to see who she really is here." said Marik. "There are kids all around with face paint and costumes, and no one really pays attention to other people around. Let her come along, she's fine."

Chaos sat there listening to his I-pod. He was here just for the hell of it. Okay in truth he got stood up and right now his pride hurt way too bad for him to leave. “Ha! Some playboy you are.” Goblimon taughted. “I’m not even going to ask why I Digigmon knows that trem.” Chaos responedas his partner hid in the trash can and ate what was thrown into there. “You know what your doing is descusting.” Chaos said just looking at all the happy couples. He was jelious of them. But then again young love like that rarly lasts. “I asked you to get me something to eat but nooo you won’t do it.” Goblimon retorted “That’s because I can’t pay for enough food to feed you miter let eat the D-arc.” he said holding the said device in his hands now. Goblimon go hungry and like normal though if he could fit it in his mouth it was food. Thankfuly Chaos got it away form him before he could swallow it. Suddenly it began to go off and pointed to a Aruraumon. This of cource made Gobimon jump for joy. “Goodie a fight!” he yelled only to get hit hard on the head. “You don’t know anything. you never go picking fights or you wast time you let fights pick you. Look at them it’s clear all they want is to have fun together there’s no point in just going in and runing there time.” he said

Shana was less upset with the fact that Aruraumon had come, and was more upset with the fact that Aruraumon had undermined her authority. Did Aruraumon not understand that she was still the boss? Even though the two of them didn't fight as much anymore, Shana was still in charge for this game. She took a few steps closer to Aruraumon, violently smacking her across the face.

"Next time listen to me!" she ordered. "But I guess you can stay this time..."

Aruraumon raised her hand, rubbing her chin where she had been slapped. She was a Digimon, so it hadn't hurt that much. What hurt was the fact that Shana was disappointed in her. Shana crossed her arms, looking as tough as she could. She then turned her head, looking away from her Digimon.

"Sorry Shana... I'll listen next time.."

"You'd better!"

Marik flinched as Shana slapped Aruraumon across the face, but he knew better than to question her aggressive behavior. Of course, he knew this would happen. The second her cast came off, her less hostile disposition went with it. But she's still a good girl inside. He thought, pushing his feelings of regret away. He just had to be cautious with her. If worse comes to worse, I always have Kudamon. He thought, recalling his first meeting with her, that ended with Kudamon attacking her.

Aruraumon however, wasn't the only digimon in the area though. Kudamon also smelled another, though much fainter, the scent masked by the stench of garbage. He decided not to bring attention to the other digimon though. They were here to enjoy themselves, not meet and greet other tamers. Marik meanwhile, turned to Shana again. "How about we go try the bumper cars first?" he suggested finally, now that all distractions were now gone.

Goblimon laughed. “Wow she’s a fire ball isn’t she she’s perfect for you.” He said. “I can’t date her she’s too young.” Chaos said “What How is she too young? You both look like your at the same evolved state even if she is smaller.” Goblimon said. “That’s not how it works here, and humans don’t evolve like Digimon do.” he said. All this made Goblimon dizzy in the head, not a very hard feat to pull off though. “You know I’ll never understand you humans.” Goblimon said and then went back to dumpster diving. Humans were so confusing but he was glad he came this world was so amazing to him. “Well what ever Human you just sit there and do nothing then.” Chaos just leaned back and closed his eyes

Shana nodded. Going to play bumper cars sounded fine, but she would still much rather prefer a fight to cards. Regardless, it didn't look like she had much of a choice. There was no one to fight here besides her boyfriend, and of course she wasn't going to go fighting him, no matter how strong the urge became. Kudamon did seem like he would be a challenge to beat though, so it took a lot of willpower to repress that urge she had, despite how much she wanted to let it through.

"I guess... Bumper cars is fine... whatever those are..." Shana said as she followed Marik through the park. She would really be fine with going anywhere he wanted to go. She was really only there for him in the first place, although they were celebrating her being able to walk again.
