Minato hopped down off the chainlink fence within the closed amusement park, his partner already waiting below for him. Between the last encounter they had had with the human and Gazimon, Dex had gone into explaining to him that the two were now partners, working for each others benifit. While at the moment he didn't know what 'his benifit' was exactly, Dex had made it quite clear he wanted to become stronger, and that humans apparently helped that process out very much. He looked down at his beeping D-arc, which pointed them further into the closed amusement park.
"So you sure this is leading us to-"
"A digimon. Yes. I can smell it. Fresh into this world too."
"And if you defeat it you-"
"Get stronger."
"And you want to because..."
"Heh, trust me kid, its best for the both of us." The Black Dorumon responded "Some crazy stuff is going down in my homeworld. I don't doubt that it will spill out over here too. Trust me, loading some data is a good choice on our part."
Minato looked down at his digivice, which was pointing further down into the park, and nodded. His digimon smirked, and went on ahead.
"Come on Mini! The earlybird gets the worm!"
Smiling lightly, he followed after his partner. His nickname was starting to grow on him...

Kai and Phascomon were following what they believed to be a stray digimon. His digivice was going off which must of meant they were getting closer. Phascomon clawed the fence. Before they continued to walk. They saw infront of them a boy with a digimon.
Yet they were t close to be whatever he was looking for. They hid behind a stand. Hoping not to get noticed until the digimon was closer to them. At least he could get some help. "Kai I sense it." Kai nodded before moving to a closer stand hopefully still without being noticed.
His multicolred eyes were now focused on the digimon next to the boy. He pointed his digivice towards it and watched as the information came up. The digimon seemed to hold the presence of a much stronger digimon. It almost scared him. Yet phascomon seemed unfazed. Almost completely concentrated on destroying the digimon who he would deem his foe.

Minato was looking down at his D-arc as he followed his digimon partner. The park was dark and quiet at this time of night, and rather creepy. Not having payed much attention to Dex, he bumped into his digimon as he suddenly stopped in his tracks.
"Whats going on? We're not there yet..."
"I can smell you there!" Dex called out, sniffing the air, and glancing twords the food stand behind which Kai and Phascomon were hiding "I don't know what the two of you are doing here, but if you intend to get this digimon, its taken. His data's mine. So sorry to dissapoint."
Truthfully, Dex didn't sound sorry in the slightest. Minato looked over at the food stand as well, not having known another tamer and digimon pair had came in as well. He wondered if this would be anything like his previous encounter...

They were caught just great. Phascomon flew upwards once hearing they were caught. While Kai sat down their for a bit longer. He didn't like this digimon already.
"Well we didn't askk if the data of whatever that digimon was spoken for. Maybe we were after your data. You never know."
Kai wasn't lying for a second he thought the stray was the digimon looking right at him. He didn't care though. They were going to get that data one way or another. Ever since Phascomon got Orgemon's data he was concentrated on taking as much data as possible.
He wasn't going to let anything stand in his way. Even if he had to take on the digimon standing before him now. Even though he would truly prefer not too. Maybe they could spilt the data fifty fifty.

Dex smirked at the new kids remark to him. Already he was beginning to annoy him, and that wasn't a good thing. His eyes moved to his digimon as it came into view.
"MY data? Seriously? I take that as an insult kid." He said, looking over this new digimon "I would never let my data be taken by a runt like that."
Minato was silent, just watching the events unfold. He still was new to this whole 'digimon' thing, and was gonna let his digimon handle the talking for now. A hand dug into his pocket and tapped the cards he had there, just in case.

Kai smiled. It was funny that people saw Phascomon as such a weak digimon. Especially since just yesterday he had absorbed a Orgemon. Which was a champion level digimon. Maybe it was weak because it was tamer less but none the less it was a champion levell digimon.
While Kai laughed Phascomon landed right infront of Kai on the ground. "Are you so sure that you could beat me." He was confident in his skills. Opposing forces did not scare him. Especially when they were so sure they could beat him.
Phascomon would have to ask Kai about the quiet human later. He wanted to know more about their qualites and emotions. This one was so much quiet. Kai and phascomon started to run past the two people remembering about the stray digimon they had come here for.

"As a matter of fact, yes, I am." He said smugly to the digimons remark "Simply because nobody beats me. I don't allow it."
This guy was just about as cocky and arrogant as he was. It got on his nerves, but at the same time he could tell they shared the same basic ideals. Perhaps an odd friendship/rivalry would be able to be established between them...
Well, that would have to wait, as the boy and his digimon raced past Dex and Mini, the Black Dorumon quickly chasing after them.
"Come on Mini!" He called back to his partner, who started to run after them "That digimon is ours!"
