How It Began...
The Angels once lived peacefully among the humans, and the other creatures of the world in the city of Divinous.
But things changed. The people were no longer peaceful, and calm. They became hostile, and war-lovers. Their cities turned from wondrous places to live to the worst kind of slum areas you could find. Thieves and murderers filled the streets, and the good people turned a blind eye to what was happening around them.
This change was brought about by a new King, King (TBD by person who claims him). He wished to conquer the surrounding cities and countries after taking the throne from his early deceased brother, a King loved by many. Anyone who questioned the old King's death disappeared, and never returned.
The Angels tried desperately to save their great city; the one built by the gods. But Divinous was falling to the evil of the world, and they could do little to help. Still though, they stayed with their beloved city, reluctant to leave it to it's great death, until the day they lost their own King.
Their leader, Ericen, was captured by the King and his army. He was used in a ritual to summon Demons, whom the King wished to use in his army. His death was part of the ritual.
At this, the Angels were outraged. They left the city of Divinous, and in turn, took away the last of the light. The city now sits in darkness. Though the sun rises, it can't shine through the murk in the sky. Though the moon glows, it's light is lost in the shadows. And now, Demons run loose.
King ______ made a deal with the Demons; they would hep him conquer the surrounding cities, and in turn, the Demon King (NAME TBD by whoever claims him) would be given the country of his choice to own, and his minions would be allowed to roam the world freely.
Now, war rages, and the people are lost in what to do. Crime has claimed Divinous, and the angels are no where to be found. People pray to the gods, and go unanswered.
But now, recently, rumor has it an Angel was cast down from heaven, and has been taking refuge in Divinous. People seek it out, for help, Demons, to kill. For it has the power to call the other Angels back to the great city that was once their home, and defeat the darkness that has taken it.
