In the past a human merely known now as The Tamer once confronted a digimon called GranDracmon. Defeating this wicked beast, The Tamer had saved the Digital World, obtaining desired peace. This human disappeared soon after his victory. After time ran its course for a while, he had returned to this world. However, there was something terrifying about The Tamer, and for seemingly no reason unleashed his attack on the Digital World. Once again this world was sent into chaos, with his army of The Dark Knights at his side. One digimon dared to defy him, who was called Sir Knight Leomon. Desiring to end the struggles The Tamer created, Leomon formed the Resistance with his fellow digimon to defeat this new menace. Both sides now at war, they are each calling "Gifted" humans from the Real World to assist them in this terrible conflict.
