[atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][bg=ccbbe2] Your kindness wont betray me Yori was so excited! She watched with glee as the ferry approached the island, she could almost feel her whole body tremble with excitement! Finally her first time actually competing with her digimon, and a chance to meet so many other people who play! She smiled as she held up her digivice. "Take a good look Loli! We are going to have so much fun!" she said to the little blue digivice. Now she knew very well that she was being silly telling her 'toy' to take a good look. But she didn't care. She was excited! Lowering her arm, she still held her digivice firmly as she waited for the boat to dock.
Yori had somehow convinced her father to let her go, but it was not easy and she had to work hard to earn that chance. Her father was still not happy about her going off to 'play digimon' but her mom managed to smooth him over and her sister's helped as well. It's likely that he never would have even considered letting her go if not for that. He wouldn't say no to the twins... she thought briefly before shaking the thought away. No she was here to have a good time! So only good thoughts!
When the boat docked Yori walked off, a big grin on her face. She had tied her hair back in a ponytail, and was wearing a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers. It was very different from her usual attire, but she figured she might be walking around more then normal so she should dress for that. Her eyes widdened as she looked around it was so magnificent! There was so much here it was almost over whelming.
Taking a gulp she took a deep breath wand walked forward. She was so nervous! She took a few steps forward and looked around. She saw some kids already dueling each other for fun and others trading cards. Somehow Yori had scored high enough in the game to be allowed to compete, but she felt a knot in her stomach. She had that wory that she's not really good enough and it was dumb luck, but the other part told her she EARNED that spot! She had worked hard and despite her father trying to kick her habit of digimon she still managed to train up Loli so it wasn't mear dumb luck! Though it still didn't calm her nerves, but she supposed that was just a part of the whole 'first competition' sort of thing.

This was everything that he had been waiting for, and Kazu could barely keep himself from jumping in the water and swimming the rest of the way. Actually, it was the fact that he didn't want to ruin the device that held Hagurumon in it that kept him from diving in, but even with that it was very difficult for him. "We are so going to own this, Hagurumon. These guys had better watch out for us," he said to the brown digivice in his hand. Okay, it might be a little silly to be talking to a video game character, but that was how Kazu psyched himself up for these things. If anyone had a problem with it, then he would silence them in a battle.
Naturally, his parents had been a little against Kazu going to an item to play a video game, but after several hours of begging and pestering they had given in and pushed him out the door. In truth, his parents really wanted some time to themselves, but they wanted Kazu to put some effort in convincing them. Of course, this wasn't on Kazu's mind as he was trying to come up with a strategy that would blow everyone away.
"So here is our plan. I'll keep adding power ups to you, and then you can just overpower whoever we have to face. Sound good?"
[/b] Obviously, it sounded good as Kazu had been the one to say that, so when the boat docked the young man needed no more encouragement. Stepping off the boat, he looked around the area for some idea of where he should go next, but he kind of got sidetracked by the scenery. Remembering what he was doing, Kazu decided that the only thing that he could do was ask someone where he should go. The only problem with this plan was that most everyone was either battling one another or already wandering off, and he was about to give up on figuring out where he should be going and just challenge someone to a battle. Fortunatetly, he saw a girl standing there, so he wakled right over to her and cough. "Excuse me. Do you know if we are supppose to stick around here and battle people until an announcement is sent out or do we need to be going somewhere?"[/color] [/blockquote]

[atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][bg=ccbbe2] Your kindness wont betray me There were so many other kids here...and not just kids, teenagers to and a few adults, wow! The young girl felt a little overwhelmed with it all as she looked around some more, though she mostly just stood there and looked around, and hoped she didn't look as nervous and overwhelmed as she was. She wished that she could hug her lopmon but, sadly a little virtual creature inside a hand held game wasn't the best hugging companion. She should have brought the lopmon plushie she made! But alas she left it at home. Though it's not like it would do much good, after all a toy is a toy whether its hand held or stuffed.
She didn't really know her way around here...and as she looked she only got more confused. Where was she suppose to go? Was she suppose to sign in somewhere? She was having trouble figuring it out witha ll the chaos of people running in all directions. "Oooh I should have left earlier...it's too crowded now for me to see anything!" she grumbled to herself as she began to walk.
She didn't make it very far before she could a cough and turned around as the voice spoke. It was a boy, he looked to be about her age. Upon hearing his question she turned her head behind her then back at him and shook her head. "I am sorry...I am not going to be of much help. I am not sure myself what I am suppose to do, I don't know if we have to sign in somewhere or if they will just call us.." she said as she looked away for a moment again, as if she hoped that she would just see an answer each time she turned.
"I wish I could be of more help. It owuld be benificial for myself as well." she said as she turned back to him. "My name is Yayoi by the way. But you can call me Yori." she said as she smiled and held her hand out to him. "I take it you are in the tournament?"

For a moment, Kazu thought that he was going to be told exactly where he needed to go, but when the girl shook her head no that notion quickly vanished. He figured that he would have to find someone in a more official capacity in order to figure out what he needed to be doing at the moment, but that would have to wait as his question had led to the start of a conversation with the girl. Naturally, Kazu would continue it as it would be extremely rude of him just to stop talking, and the last thing that he wanted to do was be rude.
"Do not worry about it, Yori. We'll just have to find someone is wearing a badge or something and ask them what we are supposed to be doing."
This would be harder than Kazu realized as there were so many people around that it was nearly impossible to tell who was there for the tournament and who was there to work. Letting out a sigh as he finished scanning the crowd, he turned back to the girl he had been talking to, and he realized that he had not introduced himself or answered her question.
"Naturally, I am in the tournament. I, Kazu Shioda, will be the one to win it. Hagurumon and I have a fool proof strategy, so no one is going to be able to beat us."
Okay, it was a little more confident than he had intended for it to be, but Kazu knew that he needed to believe in himself if he was going to have any chance of making it to the top in this tournament. Alas, he knew that his actual strategy was pretty simple as he was just going to keep having Hagurumon attack until the other guy was down for good, but sometimes the simplest of battle plans were the most effective.
"How about you? Do you think you are ready to battle countless challengers in order to make it to the top?"
