FAMILY: Ken Shikohojo [Father] Himako Shikohojo [Mother] Hiroshi Shikohojo [Older Brother] Reina Shikohojo [Younger Sister] Meiko Shikohojo [Younger Sister] APPEARANCE: Yori isn't a particularlly tall girl, standing at only 5 feet in height. Her frame has always been rather petite, but she is beginning to form slight curves. Her hair is very long, black, and curly. It comes down just past her mid back, and the curls are more defined around the bottom. Her eyes are a dark shade of brown, so dark in fact that you can't see the pupil easily. But in just the right light, both her hair and eyes seem to reflect an almost violet tint. Her skin is pale, as she doesn't go out of her way to try and tan. She is most often wearing dresses or skirts, and it's rare to see her wearing pants. Though she will layer leggings under skirts and dresses at times. Her hair is most often wore loose, but she will sometimes tie part of it back in ribbons. PERSONALITY: Being the second eldest child, and the eldest daughter, a lot has been expected of Yayoi growing up. Since she was little, she was always expected to be well behaved and quite, appearing to be the perfect little lady. Because of this she is very soft spoken and kind, always smiling and offering to help whenever possible. She tries to stay out of arguments if at all possible, but if she feels she can help end one she will. She is not one to speak up in a crowd, having been taught to only speak when spoken to. Its easy for her to get overshadowed. Yayoi is very social, and loves going out with her friends. She always has to call and tell her parents when she goes out, but as long as she behaves her father doesn't mind letting her go out. But if she shows signs of going the way of her brother, then her social life will go out the window for a while. So Yori takes care to make sure she behaves. She is also a very strict vegetarian, and wont touch any meat other then fish. Her mother is also a vegetarian, so its likely she learned that from her. She gets along fine with her brother, but they don't often do much together. Yori thinks he should just behave like their father wants, and he thinks she's crazy for doing whatever she is told by their 'stuffy old man'. When she is around her friends Yori is very bright and sociable, often being the light of the room! She loves doing things with others, and hates to be alone. Her passion is music, and writing lyrics. She was classically trained on the piano and violin, but in secret learned how to play a keyboard and guitar. She keeps a secret journal where she writes her own song lyrics and is almost always carrying it around with her. FEARS: HISTORY: For the most part, Yori had a pretty easy childhood. Her brother was four years old when she was born, and he was really happy to have a new baby sister. While Yori was a toddler, Hiro was constantly with her. He taught her how to walk, and her first word was ‘Hio!’ for Hiro. When Yori was around four years old, Hiro started to have arguments with their father fairly often. One day she walked woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and heard her rather yelling at Hiro. Her father smacked him, something she had never seen him do before. She walked into the room hugging her teddy bear, looking up at her father, mother, and older brother. When her mother sweetly asked what she was doing up, she said she was going to the ‘potty’ and looked at her father and asked ‘why hurt hiro?’ her father didn’t answer, and instead said to get them out of his sight. Her mother quickly rushed Yori out of the room, and Hiro followed shortly afterwards.After then, things weren’t the same. Her father didn’t seem to smile much, and there was constant tension when Hiro and Ken were in the room together. At meals no one spoke, they just sat and ate. Around the time Yori started school, she and Hiro began to grow apart. Hiro wasn’t home often, and Yori wanted to please their father so over time, they simply grew apart. After the fight her father became far more stern, and expected a lot from his children. With Hiro being a 'let down' her father pushed Yori to behave the way she expected him to. She was the child he would bring when showing off his family to business partners, and she was always expected to be on her best behavior at all times. She was pushed to learn to be the perfect lady, and was trained to play the piano and violin. Though she excelled more at the piano. The only type of music accepted was calm, soft, and classical music. Her brother played the guitar, which their father showed much contempt for. One day Yori snuck into her brother's room and started to play with his guitar, and loved it! She enjoyed sneaking in when no one was around and learning how to play it even more. After the twins were born things started to lighten up again.For the first time in years, Yori saw her father smile when the twins were around, and when they first started walking, he would get down on his knees smiling and say ‘come to daddy’. It was a side Yori had forgotten existed, and part of her was jealous that they got attention she never got. But never the less she loved her sisters dearly and was a good big sister to them. By this time, her brother had started to skip class, and when he came home he wouldn’t even look at their parents. He would usually come in, rub the twin’s heads to say hello, grab something to eat, and lock himself up in his room. If Hiro and Ken still fought, Yori never saw it. But they never talked for more then a few minutes. Yet despite these changes, what was expected of Yori never changed in the slightest. While her father was gentle and played with her sisters, he didn't seem to change his attitude towards her at all. She was still expected to be the perfect daughter, even though her sisters could do things she could never do. A pang of jealousy built up inside her, but she did love her sisters so she did her best to never let it show. As the twins got older, Mei started to attach herself to Hiro, and it reminded Yori of how close she and Hiro had been when she was younger. Hiro started to come around the house more often to play with his sisters, and would smile and seemed to be genuinely happy. Though he still never talked to his father, and didn’t seem to talk much to their mother either. When the Digimon franchise started up, Yori began to get sucked into it. She started collecting the toys and cards. Her father didn’t like it however, and when he found her first set of cards and took them away and disposed of them. To him it was just mush that had no educational value and wasn’t worth it. But Yori still liked it, and took to hiding it. She saved up for months to buy the latest game, often playing it at her friend Yura's house. About a year ago Yori saw a flyer advertising the need for a keyboardist for a start up local j-pop/rock group. So she tried out. She put on a disguise with fake glasses, a hat, and braided her long hair into pigtails, weaving in a few colored pink strands, and put on very different clothing from her usual attire, and tried out. She was the youngest one to apply, being only 11 at the time, but her skill on the keyboard amazed them enough that they let her int he group. She sneaks out to play with them, and loves every minute of it. She even began writing song lyrics for the group. She goes by the name 'Star' when she played with them. Occasionally she doubles as a guitarist, but is usually on the keyboard. She hasn't quite worked up the courage yet to try singing in the group. Yori disliked keeping so many secrets from her father, but she knew how much he would disapprove, and she didn't want him to dislike her as he disliked her brother Hiro. She wanted her father to be proud of her and what she did, so she hid away her passion for music, as well as her love for digimon. She would wear the mask of the perfect daughter, for her father's sake. And hide who she really was. It was better that way.

She is rather childish at times, and one of her favorite things to do it catch a good wind and go 'ear gliding' through the wind. She is very curious about everything, but at the same time is also polite. She will always say please and thank you, then go run of and do something silly. Her favorite foods while in the human world to eat are plums, something about them she simply loves. She also enjoys hanging onto Yori, and is very fond of her tamer. She got her nickname 'Loli' Because Yori had a lolipop on her when she first got the little digimon in her game, and likes to name things, feeling 'lopmon' was too impersonal. Loli loves the name and it makes her feel special! She sticks very close to Yori, riding on her back all the time. Sometimes she uses her ears as straps and pretends to be a backpack. She likes to nap like this, somehow her ears manage to hold their grip, even when she's in a deep sleep. HISTORY:Loli was born within the digivice, growing slowly at the care of Yori. Sadly with Yori having to hide it from her father, Loli spent a lot of time alone. She waited and waited for Yori to return, and was so happy when Yori would play with her. Over time she began to grow and digivolve, watching Yori's eyes so full of joy whenever she would evolve. I want to make her happy...I want to see her smile... Loli would think as she wished she could reach out to Yori. To comfort her when she cried and be there to cheer her up. I wish I could come there...to where Yori is....
