With the grown popularity of the Kodai's MMO, Digimon Online, the company has begun making preparation for it's first ever International Tournament event. Top players from all over the world are being sent emails of invitation, granting them access to join in the massive competition that will be hosted on Zony Corporation's Digimon Island, a battle field designed for such an setting.
All tamers who made the cut to participate were given a ticket for the ferry to Digimon Island. Likewise they were given 2 tokens. Every time a tamer loses a battle, he or she is to forfeit a token to an opponent. Gaining 6 tokens allows a person to graduate to the next stage of the tournament which has yet to be announced. Tamers may go to and from the island as they please.
With a grand prize of 100,000,000 yen and a special mystery gift, who could turn down a chance to participate in such a tournament?
