Why are we locking them once someone has them? =( We should allow three people to have them THEN lock them...

The reason for this is because this site is relatively new, it's really call for some diversity. We can't be starting off as a site and having a bunch of people running around with same digimon at the beginning. It just doesn't make sense for us to be a new site and yet allow for there to be a bunch of Patamon or Gaomon to be used as digimon partners.
So for now, until there seems as though the options for digimon partners is limited, I believe it's best to lock them as they are taken, rather than waiting for three people to take them first. It's merely to induce some originality. And to keep things relatively interesting. Not much fun when everyone uses the same digimon, in my opinion.
Like I said, this rule will be changed down the line, but for now this is okay.

I was going to make a thread for this as well. Their is a problem with your locked digimon from the beginning. Three of the digimon that aren't locked are Royal knights or Demon Lords. So that would kind of make it unfair to people who want to make a demon lord like myself. Even though I won't over power him.
