Blaze listened to Whisker and nodded as it was a noble endeavor to venture so far from home to see the world. Especially when it was against the thinking of others, which he can only assume that was the way most groups were. An individual idea is often misunderstood and the person is shun because of it.
"Quite a ways from home....I too left home, but it wasn't for such a goal as seeing the world. Rather, I am seeking a purpose..."
The Agumon closed his eyes as he didn't want to say that he'd been looking for what seemed like forever. So long had it been since he'd seen his beloved home in Dino Valley. But then, what was waiting for him other than rocks and dust? There was no one he knew there, no one standing by the entrance to welcome him home. He was alone, so there was no hurry to return. Not intill he found the reason for his existence.

Whisker feels puzzled after Blaze stated what he was searching. He doesn't have an idea what to do? He doesn't sound stupid, but how could he not... Maybe I can give him one.
He now seems a bit understanding, "I too once had no idea what I wanted to do in my life. For me, becoming a gaogamon and fighting for alpha didn't seem too appealing. It took me some time to think of what I really wanted to do. Maybe you'll just need time."
He gives a silent chuckle, "I take you were thinking a bit deep when I was following you. Even if you were alert hereafter, we could benefit from traveling with each other. Less likely is a bully going to come after us, knowing that there's another that'll attack him once he attacks the other. I'm fine to go and settle, if we must, as long as it's not desert and with heards of Jagamon. Think you'll be interested?

Opening his eyes as he raised his brow towards the suggestion, Blaze looked towards the Gaomon as he contemplated the idea and the aspects. It would mean that they would be partners, sharing whatever that they found. It would also mean that they would have to trust the the other had their back in situations that called for another to assist. But like the digimon had said, it would lessen the chance of either of them being attacked, and perhaps traveling the world would help in him finding his reasons in life.
Its worth a shot. A change in methods might help in my quest as well...
Smiling slightly as he nodded calmly while extending his claw towards Whisker, the Agumon waited for the digimon to accept the gesture as a sign that he was indeed interested in the idea.
"Sounds like a plan...but no promises about the Jagamon and deserts. The world is vast after all...There's no telling what we may have to go through..."

He happily listens to agreement and gesture. Almost fluidly, he gets up from his spot. Making it over to the agumon, a the knuckles lightly press on the claw. Whisker wasn't going to punch him, it was the gaomon's version of a handshake. "Glad that you agreed, Blaze. I only heard hints of dangers of this world, beyond being stampede by jagamon. Maybe you're right, maybe the Badlands weren't the only desert in the world."
Whisker wondered to himself, Why do I feel I can honestly trust him? I hope I'm not helping him put a claw in my back, as I do.
It was a strange and unexpected feeling. Not that he was able to trust someone without being betrayed before, that fact is it's placed in a stranger. Though it could come from the fact he was practicing on him like he were prey. It's hard to think of someone thought of a lesser to do something bad to you. But he holds some respect for Blaze, because he did agree to not attack him and hasn't. Time will tell, but for now, he's decent enough for that deal. I won't need to be as cautious now with new places.

It seemed odd, forming a partnership with someone he just met. He had no idea if anything he had said so far was true, or if the Gaomon didn't plan on killing him when he had an opening. But then again, if he wanted, he could have attacked him moments before. So for now, a trust would be made based on the ability that Whisker would keep his word. As such, he would do the same. Blaze had a code he followed, and he honored that code to the letter.
Smiling towards his last comment, the Agumon laid back upon the grass, looking towards the sky as he stared up towards the clouds. They were clustering pretty tightly together, it was likely that rain would be upon them within a few hours. But they still had time.
"So...Where were you intended to go next Whisker?"

He smiles, pointing in the direction Blaze was walking in. "I wanted to make sure you weren't a threat. Luckily, you weren't going in a different direction than where I was heading. Behind me are the Badlands, and I don't want to head back, if I can help it.
Whisker was serious. The gaomon wanted to avoid being placed in the confinement of his tribe again. He also believed if they were to encounter his tribe, they would punish him. There's no way he could survive a fight against the strongest ultimate, the alpha.
"Where were you heading, asking as he hopes the direction wasn't going to turn them around.

As the two finish their agreement to become traveling companions, a series of loud snaps and crashes is heard a short distance to the left. It doesn't sound like it moving towards them, seemingly staying in the same spot.
The source of the commotion, unknown to them for the time being, is a Chrysalimon. Zetsumei, as he called himself, was currently breaking a number of fair sized branches off of the trees to build a small shelter. This forest should prove a decent place to stay for a while, there are certain to be worthy challenges and food should be easy enough to come by... His mind wandered, thinking of the battles that might be had here, planning for how he would fight the various possible opponents.

It was an odd question and one he had no answer to. The Agumon hadn't even considered leaving the forest in till later that night, and even he didn't know of his next destination. But perhaps, maybe he now he had a clear idea of where he was going to make a stop. If not the badlands and Dino Valley, there was one place that might be worth visiting before venturing any further.
"I didn't know where I was going at first. But I believe I have a location in mind. How about Server City?

He replies, "Haven't heard of it. Let's go."
Going to a place he never heard of, he would be lying if he didn't think it was fun. It was what he was doing in the first place, just now he knows the the name of the destination. Travelers were rare to turn up by the tribe. He truly had little outside information.

Zetsumei finishes placing the branches, looking over the shelter approvingly. This should be fine for now, I'll build a better one if the need arises... He goes inside, looking it over again. Everything seems in order...wait... Noticing an out of place twig, he reaches out to move it, unfortunately dislodging a branch in the process. With a loud crash, the whole shelter collapses, burying him under the large quantity of branches. Grumbling to himself, he manages to work his way free, tossing one of the branches in frustration. "Well that was a complete waste of time..." he mutters, gazing at the mess.
He sighs, heading off to find something to take his mind off the situation. He pauses after a bit, noticing a conversation taking place nearby. Could be something interesting...if nothing else it might be a worthy opponent...
He heads towards the source of the sound, stopping a short distance from the pair of rookie digimon, but not in direct view. Blast, just a couple of rookies...not worth the fight... He looks at the two curiously, surprised at the sight of a Gaomon in this area. A Gaomon? I thought they lived in the badlands...what could have brought him out here? Maybe I'll find out something interesting...
He hovers quietly, continuing to watch and listen.
