The light orange lizard walked slowly through the woods, eyes closed as his thoughts were further than himself. They were in the clouds, dancing over him as he remembered a time in his life when he had a dream, a purpose. But how long had it been since that was shattered? Broken and planted into the ground along with those he cared for? Why was he still alive? What possessed him to keep going? Perhaps it was nothing at all, maybe he simply just existed as a random piece of information? If so, then he would continue to wander the world with nothing. Never a place to call his own, no one to call friend.
"Yes...That sounds very fitting..."
The digimon stopped in his tracks, believing her heard something for a moment. But he soon continued on as it seemed to pass. His destiny was unclear to him. Was he a wanderer or simply oblivious to the big picture? What was a creature with no motive? Did his actions have just cause? So many questions and so little answers. The Agumon was cursed with a great mind, yet the inability to answer his own questions. A sad fate indeed.

If the agumon were paying more attention to the noise, he would have found out he's been stalked most of his time in the forest. Thought he was onto me. Either not yet or he's a good actor.
The gaomon was staying low and several yards from the reptile. Making sure to make lighter steps in the litter, he continued to follow. Whisker was smiling. He wasn't planning to do anything to him. This was only exercise. The fun comes from knowing that your target doesn't have a clue you exist. He might as well be dust in the agumon's mind.
Whisker shared some of his problems. Though his questions were more, How do I obtain power? How can I have help to survive long enough to use and maintain it? What is the entire world like? Is there really more than one world? Of course, his mind is currently occupied on keeping quiet and following along.

The lizard continued on his path, unaware of his stalker as he seemed to be in a world of his own design. A place that had long since been forgotten except to him. Of course, it was to be expected when you considered that it was the last place he had ever called home. An area that had almost been destroyed within the red disaster. Had he failed there? Yes, there was no explanation or excuse for his survival if he had succeed. Digimon dying, deleted forever and never to be seen again. While not the cause, he certainly felt as though he could have been.
"Why didn't I save them? Why couldn't I reach him?"
Blaze continued to ponder this, stopping once more as he heard the same noise a second time. Once was understandable, but twice was just too convenient. Turning upon the heels of his feet, the Agumon bared his teeth as he scanned the area with his eyes. He wasn't going to allow himself to be caught off guard twice. There was something out there, and it was tracking him. Or perhaps, it might simply be moving in the same direction as he was? Either cause, he didn't like things that lingered in the shadows, there was nothing noble about attacking from the dark.

As he continued the practicing, he starts making some judgments. I highly doubt he's with others. Seems too uninterested in knowing where he's going. Perhaps he too is thinking, just too lost in his thoughts to notice me, hopefully. Doesn't look frail. Probably could get a good chuck out of me, at least if he claws me. Not machine, but I-
He hears himself snapping branches and leaves. I share his weakness... He inhales and stays still. Whisker was hoping he wouldn't notice, But he has.
The lizard was alert and irritated. Knowing only of gaomons and their evolution lines, Whisker didn't feel safe taking on an unknown digimon in a new environment. For all he knew, the lizard may actually lived here. The gaomon opted for the diplomatic method. "If I reveal myself, will you not attack me? I will come out slowly, in front of you."
Some aggressive digimon might just go out and find him or wait for him to come out and then go to delete him. Of course, he wasn't going out unprepared. If he charges, I climb the tree. Doubt he would look high. If waits for me to come to attack, I run to the right, zigzagging through the trees. Even if he has a distant attack, he would need me to be still. He's probably not built for speed.

Blaze relaxed somewhat, holding a calm expression as he couldn't help but be somewhat surprised. Most digimon would simply attack as soon as they found that they were discovered, this one appeared to be more willing to face him so long as he didn't feel that he was threatened. The world was still full of sensible creatures other than himself and few others. In this time, being savage and displaying nothing but brute strength didn't prove anything. Not when you faced an opponent of high intelligence and the ability to exploit your weaknesses.
"Very well....So long as you do not attack me as well..."
The Agumon wasn't one to attack just instantly, and he honored his word. Not many digimon could say that they followed a code. At one time, he couldn't do it either. But time had changed him, made him more understanding. It also isolated him, making him tend to prefer his privacy than the company of others. If it was given, he wouldn't' turn it down, but it was rare to even see him with someone else.

"Agreed. Coming out now."
Having his hands up in the air, he slowly comes out to face the agumon. He wasn't going to break his word, until there was signs that the lizard will. Whisker appears calm as well. "You would have to excuse me. I didn't know if I could trust you or not. So I wanted to remain hidden."
The gaomon was eyeing the other digimon. He has a simular body shape, just that he was chubbier and without fur. I could just easily outrun him, rather than fight. It was his first encounter with an agumon. Whisker hopes he didn't have to learn how they fight.

So his stalker was a Gaomon, it would be his first ever encounter with one. But even though he had only see this one, he was well aware of this capabilities in combat. The information was little, but hearing of their speed was enough to make him cautious. He didn't want to fight, but he would attack if this digimon decided to make a move that gave him reason to strike. But so far, it appeared that the dog-like digimon was just a worried about him attacking. Perhaps, they were both being overly cautious at this point.
"I understand....Sadly its hard to trust anyone within the digital world as of late...."
Crossing his arms over his chest, the Agumon decided that if he relaxed, so with the Gaomon. So sitting down upon the ground, Blaze continued to look at the digimon as he displayed himself as not wanting to fight.

Watching, he was surprised that the agumon did something to make himself vulnerable. If he were to attack me, in some matter, he deserves it. The canine takes a few steps closer, before sitting cross-legged and putting his hands on his knees. He might be manipulative when the opportunity calls for it, but he values trust.
I'm Whisker, a Gaomon. I was new to the area, I was checking it out, until I noticed you. He didn't have a problem sharing that information. The best is that it could make the new acquaintance not think of him ass a threat.

"Well met...My name is Blaze..."
Seeing that the Gaomon had seated himself as well, it appeared that neither of them were in a good position of attack. This meant that or at least made it appear, that both parties had no interest in combat. But that could change at any moment, so it would be best not to do anything that might offend. Thus, the reason the Agumon preferred little contact with others. You never had to worry about other opinions when you simply had yourself to question.
"The woods are indeed vast...The best thing you can do is explore every aspect of it. Just so long as you don't anger any of the local insects...."

He too is a wanderer, eh? Doesn't seem so bad. The gaomon actually likes company. It was surprising he could get along, at least this long, with another digimon besides other gaomon. Though he didn't share a simular thought process with most of his kind, especially thinking that being alpha and alone wasn't worth it. There was no loyalty to the leader, other than just making sure to give respects to the current leader. He would be an alien among them if he tried to defend an alpha in fight, probably kicked out by the alpha himself for suggesting he was weak enough to have help. The meantality of being a pack he wanted help spur his self-exhile.
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind," he smiles. "Before coming here, I came from the badlands. I belong to a small pack, mostly of gaomon. I hope to learn about the world around us, that I've never had a chance to see until now."
