Japan, this is what Japan looks likie. Not realy what she was expecting. Why did her big brother have to come here, Paris would have been so much more beutiful. Thers also the fact that it was more likly that she would be swept out of her feet/wheelchair like that princess in the last book she finished. Susan was happy though, she hadnt seen her brother in ages. But seriusly, Japan? what was his reason behind that.
She had been waiting at the entrence for some time. Larry wasnt there yet, but Susan wasnt worried, this wasnt the first time she had been left waiting. Susan came prepared. Her favourit book in one hand and a drink she had just been givin by that freindly Belgium guy. He was very sympathetic, Susan didnt even have to bring out the puppy dog eyes. Susan was feeling a bit cold though. Susan put her hand on a womans arm as she walked past. "Excuse me miss, i was just wundering if you would get my coat out of my bag? I would do so myself but unfortunatly its a bit difficult in this wheelcahir." Asked Susan. The woman happily ablidged, probably out of sympathy agein, but that was what Susan did, using her wheelchair to her advantage. Now if only Larry got here soon.

Larry was startled ever since he had received the phone call from his parents, who told him that his sister was finally arriving here, for a medical treatment. The news was so surprising and unexpected he ... he kinda lost his head a bit. Susan, the reason he came around to this foreign country in the first place, was coming. In a sudden strike of happiness, he became a bit forgetful of his other duties and things, mind preoccupied with a happy news. And of course, he went for the airport as soon as he was noted...
What worried him a bit was if his little sis would even recognize him. It's been some time, of course, and Larry's appearance ... changed during it, because of the various events that took place. The most prominent change was his hair - stress and constant pressure took their toll, there was not a single normal-colored hair on his head, all were gray, or white... And a few wrinkles were on his face, despite he was only in his twenties...
His attentive eyes soon spotted the person he longed to see so much all these years - people showed the way, since there weren't many cripples to go around. A sad smile appeared on the young man's face. That same old wheelchair, the familiar dress, and a face he could have recognized out of thousand. Poor child, her suffering, being bonded to the contraption on wheels, was soon to be relieved, or made easier at any rate. Quiet as a shadow, he approached the wheelchair from behind, out of sight, putting his hands on his handles - the girl did not need to move herself around, not if he could help it.
- There you are, my dear... I went across half of the airport looking for you... - he whispered, voice being quiet and tender, as he felt he got something in his eye. Or both eyes. Or maybe he got something in his heard. Larry grew to be a person of few outward emotions, but the one who was able to bring them all out was now here, with him...

Susan jumped, she hadnt even noticed her brother sneek up on her. "You know, you sounded like a pedofile for a second there." Susan said as she turned round to look at her big brother. "I missed you." She continued with the cutist smile you had ever seen. She was so happy to see her brother agein. It had bee ages since they last saw each other, and boy had he cahnged. How old is he, 20, 21? Well he definatly didnt look it. Susan proably would have thought he was a pedofile. But for some reason she new it was him, as if she was looking at his soul instead of him, the one thing that could never change. The soul was a popular topic in alot of the books Susan liked to read, but its as if she only just realised how powerfull it realy is.
"Brother, I was wundering. Could we stop of at one of those traditional sushi restraunts. The Sushi at home tastes so manufactured, and the food on the plane was so bland." asked Susan, looking so adorableand innocent, anyone with a heart would find it niy on impossible to say no. "Pwease." the childish accent was a perswasive tactic she had been dying to tri out on the best of the best. ZShe may not be as good at manipulating people like Larry but she wasnt far behind. But then she did have the fact that she was a young girl in a wheelchair. it did become quit useful. "Pwetty pwease." She continued, she didnt realy care about the sushi, she just wanted to see what her brothers reactions were. a test as you may put it. One she wasnt goning to put of lightly if he failed.

Larry only laughed at the girl's joke. He pushed the wheelchair forward, trying to avoid big fluxes of people, afraid they would knock the chair down. And besides, he tried to shield the girl from curious glances of those people - he figured it would have been uncomfortable if all those people were staring at her.
- Life was not the same here without you around... - he replied distantly. Indeed. it was, for some time here, when he felt really homesick, and dreamed of returning back to his family in England. But as time passed, he was beginning to get ... forgetful, with all his work and stuff, involving patrols, gunfights, digimon hunts... At some point he simply stopped thinking about them. At all. And when that occurred, he had lost that flame that made him more affectionate to people, more ... humane. But now, when one of them was here, the fire burned brighter than ever before...
- Dear, you don't really have to use child speak if you wish me to do something, you know... - he said and laughed kindly. Comes with working in a secret organization - he knew how to see through people, even if said person was just his little sister. Maybe he should have stayed happily oblivious, but the child did not understand one thing - he did all of this for her willingly, so manipulation was useless, of sorts.
- Sure we can go to sushi restaurant, if you wish, but I doubt you'll like that undercooked fish they call food. Yucky things those are, I do not know how people even eat that. But like I said, I'll get you some sushi, so you may try it yourself. Maybe you'll like it, who knows... - he shrugged as they kept going. Then it hit Larry suddenly. Why weren't parents around? Why they didn't come along to visit as well. That was a bit strange.
- How the parents are doing? And why didn't they come with you? I wished so much to see them as well... - he sighed out a bit sadly...

Susan couldnt help but smile, this was definatly her brother. He saw through all her atemps to manipulate him. But he was alwasy so caring, doing what ever Susan asked anyway (within reason). If it wasnt for Larry, Susan proably would have gone insane, if not worse. Anyway she was glad he was still himself, even after all these years. But she cant let on that she was testing him, what to say, what to say. "Undercooked? That sounds discusting. I thought it was propaly prepared, what if i get food poisoning?" Susan pouted as she said that, hoping to fool her brother, not the easyist of tasks."How about we just get noodles, I know there cooked propaly." Smiling with the idea of japaness spagettie in her head. Just thinking about was getting Susan hungry. "Lets go then." She said, clapping her hands as if Larry was a mere servent who had to do her bidding, as a joke of course.
At the mention of her parents, Susans face droped. "Busy as ever, not having enough time for me and I know that there doing it so they can pay for treatments, but I would rather be stuck in a wheelchair with my Mum and Dad then being able to walk while on my own." Susan looked at the floor as she said this, It was a subject that she wasnt to thriled to talk about. "I mean, Ive got my books but they just show me a world that I can never have. Its almost deprrssing reading." She continued, it was a rather difficult matter to talk about. She didnt want her big grother to worry sio decided to change the point of converstaion as quickly as possible. "so hows my big brother, anything intresting happen? How work? Oh, have you seen any of those creatur things? theyve been appering on the news agein. Amatuer videos but still look pretty real. So have you?

- Heh, as you wish your highness. - Larry replied with a bit of a laughter as they finally left the crowded airport. There were just too many people around to have a more pleasant conversation - with all the noises one could barely hear a thing. But just outside the busy place it was decent enough. Larry decided to bring her to one of the more casual restaurants nearby - only they did noodles the way they could be eaten without charging tenfold. But they had to reach it first though. So in the meanwhile...
- And don't say that! You don't know how much pain it brings all of us to see you in such a state... But 'tis alright, soon you'll be able to walk, and we will return to England, and will be one big happy family again... - Larry said with a sad smile. Really, to him it was less painful to live through a limited time separated to make things better in future than to condemn his only little sister to a lifetime of torment stuck on that bulky contraption on wheels. His greatest joy would be to see her walking without fearing her legs will crumble beneath her as she takes a step...
- And nah, this place is rather dull. These japanese are even more cloistered and detached than even us brits are! Look at them - same faces again and again and again and again... Feels like leaving among clones... - he shuttered upon passing by a crowd of people described that way. - I'd never leave England for this place. I hate it. - a confession came. But everything went better now that his lil' sis was here. With her around he'd stay for as long it required. Maybe even forever.
- Monsters? Don't be ridiculous. - he laughed affably, although a terrible lie was concealed under this carefree behavior. Of course he knew about monsters, he was supposed to hunt them down. And his best friend was such a "monster". But the little girl did not need to know about that, that was his own war to fight. - ... Those fake vids are sooooo fake. A cartoon image laid over normal recording, plus a few special effects. Heh, even I can do that in like, half of an hour. - he explained. And technically, he really could, being pretty good with programs and computers. - Somebody probably tries to lend some credibility to a weaksause conspiracy theory. You know, like UFO and Bigfoot. - he simply shrugged. Soon they had stopped at the entrance of a decent cafe. The sign said "Uncle Lo's diner". That was a nice enough place...

Susan's face fell like a stone droped from the sky, she had really wanted to see a digimon. It all looked so exciting, something she dosn't get too much of while stuck in a wheelchair. Well, thats another dream down the drain, a life of disapointment. If hell did exist, it couldnt be as bad as this. "Oh, well thats a shame. Suppose you cant do anything about that though can you. Huh..." Susan said this with a pathetic excuss for a smile on her face. Thats when they stopped outside the diner.
"Brother, if you hate it here, why dont you get a job back in England, or Paris? that way you'll be closer to us and you'll be able to vist us more. Please do that, the only good place about japan was the monsters and even those arn't real.Susan started rubbing her eyes, she had only just realised how tierd she was. "Stupid jet lag! Brother, i know its a pain, but could we please retier for the day. I seem to be a bit on the tierd side." Susan looked up at larry and as she almost fell asleep on the spot, she only had enough time to say a few more words before finnaly dropping of in her whellchair.
"Huuuuuuuuuuh, Promise... to tell, huh, me if you see... a monst..." and with that she was gone, to a land where her wildest dreams come true.
