At first glance, most people would assume that the day would call for a heavy downpour. Though too early to say that it's still not coming, Hidehiko thought it would make a good time to enjoy the beach. It was far too early in spring for it to be warm enough to go swimming. He opted just to take in the sight of the ocean itself.
The grey waves didn't look inviting to go in, but were an interesting sight to behold. Even the times he does go swimming here, Hiko realizes he really hasn't taken to examine the beach around him. It's often crowded and he keeps bumping into other people every other second. Then he realizes he's being this analytical because there's nothing to do. "Is this much thinking healthy?"
He couldn't help but ask as he had free time for once. His family needed nothing from him and his game console is out of commission. Deciding to walk around the shore side, the waves reminds him it was his own mistake that he currently doesn't have a working system. The empty beach made no sound except when he walks and when the wind blows. He was too busy thinking of what to do or to find something to do. The kid wasn't thinking of the coming storm.

Tian's mother had been keeping him pretty busy for the last few weeks, which left his little purple buddy inside of his room for a long time. In order to make up for it, the two had been spending the day outside so Tsukaimon could get to fly without having to worry about his mom seeing him. The sight of a flying monster would have given the poor woman a heart attack.
The day had started out at the amusement park where they first met, and now they were walking towards the beach. The plan was to let Tsukaimon test the water for Tian to see if it was warm enough for him to take a quick dip. "Now remember. You go still like a log at the first sign that someone is coming near us, got it?" Tian knew that it might mean that his friend get a little wet, but it would be a small cost to pay in order to keep people from freaking out.
Tsukaimon was looking forward while balancing on top of his partner's head, when he noticed something in the distance. "So I shouldn't do something noticeable around people? Like RAISING MY VOICE TO AN UNNECESSARY LEVEL?" Tian looked up at the purple creature with an annoyed look, but noticed there was someone walking on the beach who he hoped didn't hear anything. "You are so going to get us in trouble today."

Unfortunately for Tian, the raised voice did get the boy to turn and look around for the source of the sound. The boy only spots the teenager. It was a bit weird for Hiko as the older boy had some kind of orange robe with some kind of purple thing on top of his head. Not only did he dressed weird, but the voice didn't sound like it came from a normal teenager. Something was off, but there was a logical conclusion that came to Hiko.
The small brown-hair boy walks up to Tian, looking intrigued. He was in a navy blue sweatshirt and jeans, looking to be an elementary student. The only thing missing was his usually accessory, as he didn't want that to get wet if it did rain. He looks up at Tsukiamon, "So, you a puppet person then? You're good at changing your voice."

Tian was tempted to slap his forehead when he saw that the kid was looking in his direction, and now Tsukaimon had gotten what he had wanted which was a little attention. If only Tian had decided to go to somewhere that had a better chance of not attracting people, then this situation could have been avoided. The one thing that he noticed was the fact the kid was giving him this weird look, which probably came from the clothes that he was wearing. “Why are you doing this today of all days?”
Even though he had caused it, Tsukaimon had not really intended for the boy to come over to them because it just made their lives very difficult. When the kid asked his question about Tian being a ventriloquist, the purple monster figured that there was no point in hiding anymore, so he began flapping his ears so that he was hovering over the kid’s head. “Tian is a very skilled teenager, but not even he can make his voice sound like mine.”

He waited for an answer, it was unusual for him to meet a performer, but it wasn't out of his normal suspenstion of belief. Brown eyes opening wide and mouth wide enough to swallow an orange whole, it's clear that a flying and talking purple hamster isn't a normal sight. "What the hell are you?"
Hiko couldn't help but swear as he tries to comprehend the Tsukaimon. He had ask it directly as it talked to him. The child doesn't seem scared, mostly confused. His first thought wouldn't be Digimon, as he doesn't like the card game long enough to memorize the creatures nor thought of the events that happened years ago.

Tian wasn’t sure which part of the current conversation was more shocking: the fact that the kid wasn’t running away screaming or the part where the little child said a curse word. It was something that Tian wasn’t really used to hearing from someone who was that young. Maybe he was just a little out of date on how the world was allowing children to be raised.
Tsukaimon was having fun with talking to this kid without anyone else around because most children could see a monster and not be believed because of their age. It wasn’t as fun as getting into a fight with another Digimon, but it was still pretty entertaining. “I am a Tsukaimon, which is a species of Digimon that comes from the Digital World. And you are?”

Swearing had nothing to do with being raised, except for the untold lesson of hearing how his grandfather deals with stubbing a toe or seeing something startling or odd. He gets punished for using such words, so he tries not to make a habit for it. Though a bit hard seeing what you assumed was a stuffed animal pop up and started flying.
Tsukaimon was still surreal. If he wasn't too busy holding a conversation with the creature he would be afraid of Tian thinking he was nuts. The flapping of the wings, it talking, and not knowing audible hallucinations are possible; he believes that means Tsukaimon is real and is asking for his name. "My name is Hidehiko and I'm human like him," he points to Tian.
Immediately, he made a correlation. "Digital World? Ya mean that you're from a world from inside computers like that one movie. Tr-uh... Forgot the name of it."
Again, the thought of anything related to the card game franchise wasn't coming to his mind. Though he's getting the idea that the teenager is keeping Tsukaimon like a pet. Directing his attention to him, he has a bit of a lapse in manners as he had to ask him questions. "So you normally try to keep him a secret? And you really call him Tsukaimon instead of giving him a real name?"

Tian was not sure what to think of the kid talking to his partner like it was some sort of person, but at least he wasn’t running into the city with a petrified look up on his face. That type of situation would have led to many more problems than Tian could afford right now.
“It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Hidehiko. Have you been a human long?” Tsukaimon was make a sarcastic question that Tian knew the little kid would take at face value. After they escaped from Hidehiko’s presence, Tian was going to go over the rules for the use of sarcasm with his flying purple friend.
“The Digital World is sort of like another dimension where everything is made up of data particles, but I don’t think it is in an actual computer.” Then again, Tian could be wrong since he wasn’t the expert on the entire situation, and he was pretty sure that there wasn’t an expert on the Digital World that was around to answer such questions.
“Tian has yet to come up with an appropriate name for me, but he said that he would find one that was fitting of how I acted one of these days.” The little purple hamster had neglected to respond to the part about keeping him a secret from the rest of the world. “It is very important that his existence is not known to the rest of the world because someone might try to hurt him, so do you think you can keep it a secret?”
