Jeri looked towards the three hypnos agents, blinking as she couldn't understand why they felt that way. Well, maybe she did. After all, these men spent day after day fighting digimon that were really dangerous. But had they ever met one that was really nice? It just didn't seem fair to just judge them all like that. Every digimon was different, that's what made them special. Each had their own talents and personalities. Much like people, one was never like the other.
So does that mean that their clones are all the same?
Her focus was soon brought back to the fight, watching her two digimon confront each other within the warehouse. Though from what she could see, Gatomon was the only one doing the fighting. Leomon, on the other hand, was still attempting to get through to her. It was just like him, trying to help others instead of just attack. He must have understood the position Gatomon was in, thus why he was trying not to fight back. But how long could he do that?
Leomon jumped back to put some distance between himself and the feline digimon, staring at her as she charged towards him once again. This had to stop, and he could think of only one way to do it. Gatomon's rage had blinded her, making her make reckless moves and leaving herself open to attack. Jeri didn't want the two of them fighting, but he would have to make some kind of move to stop her, and one came to mind.
Reeling his fist back, he narrowed his eyes as flames began to slowly engulf his hand. Then, he extended it forwards, sending a lion-head shaped blast out to meet the Gatomon head on.
"Fist of the Beast King!"
Gatomon had been so focused on getting close to Leomon, so primed to end his life, that she didn't see the attack in till it was too late. Running directly into the blast, she yelled in pain as she was sent flying into one of the old machines nearby, leaving a large dent within it's steel frame. Sitting upon the ground, the feline held her arm as she slowly rose up on one knee. As her vision faded in and out, she soon saw Jeri's face looming over her.
"Gatomon! Are you..."
"Don't touch me!!!"
Jeri reeled back as she watched the digimon slowly stand to her feet. Hissing in pain, the cat then looked at Jeri with a frown before glaring at Leomon.
"You win....keep her...."
With that, the digimon slowly limped towards the exit. Jeri wanted to follow her but she felt that Gatomon didn't want her too. The way she had looked at her, it was as if she hated her with every bit of her being. So while the young girl remained by the damaged machine, sh could only watch the feline open the door and then disappear behind it.
"Jeri....."
"This wasn't supposed to happen...."
