Not the Face [Marik]

The Apemon fell, but not to Pegasusmon's Equus beam, but rather a bite to the neck from a strange digimon. With it on Apemon's back, he couldn't quite recognize what it was until the apemon disintegrated into data, revealing a strangely colored Monodramon. Then came a woman running out of the alley, looking like she had run a marathon. "Err... yeah. We kinda had it under control, but thanks for the help anyways." Marik said, scratching the back of his head. He then went up to Pegasusmon. "You aren't hurt too badly are you, Pegasusmon?"

Pegasusmon had been just a surprised as his tamer that his target had been finished off by another digimon. He looked down at the strange Monodramon. "I'm okay Marik." Pegasusmon said, unconcerned. It wasn't a too difficult opponent, and one smack to his neck wasn't going to do any lasting damage.

[Shana Hitoehi]

Pegasusmon had been nearly the most amazing Digimon that Shana had ever seen in real life. Of course, she had seen Pegasusmon before. He was a main character in the Season 2 episodes od Digimon, being Patamon's armor form, however that didn't compare to seeing him in real life. On the other hand, it was a shame to see that Pegasusmon wasn't the one who finished off the Apemon. Shana had wanted to see his full power.

In any case, Aruraumon remained close to Shana as they turned to face the newcomer. Shana didn't know who she was, but she already felt relatively suspicious of her. What business did she had being here? Because of this, she remained close to Aruraumon, fighting her instinct to just go and tackle the woman.

"Who the hell are you?" Shana screamed at the woman. She certainly wasn't going to introduce herself to the lady until she had more information.

[Khrystalline Stone]

Khrys grinned sheepishly when Marik remarked about having the battle under control. However, her grin quickly turned into surprise, and a bit of shock when the girl with Marik suddenly yelled at her. "You know, you didn't need to yell. Mega harsh." Khrys pouted. What did she do to deserve the harsh treatment right off the bat? "Great hair style though!" She added. Well, of course she liked it. Impossibly long pigtails were to die for! "My name is Khrystalline Roberts, and this is my partner, Monodramon."

The Monodramon made a grunt, acknowledging being addressed, but otherwise remaining as aloof as was usual of him. This mission held little no more significance to him than actual hypnos missions. It was all the same to him. Do everything they ask, don't get caught. Keep your mouth shut. He had his doubts about these two anyways. From what Larry had told of his encounter with this particular duo, if they some how found out what he and Khrys were working for, there was no doubt in his mind they'd cause a snit. With Larry having Renee attack them and nearly kill the girl, they could easily make this whole plan go to shit.

"Anywho." Khrys said, turning to Marik. Shana had an estimated age of around 9, so she wasn't one of the tamers she was looking for so she spoke more to the boy more so, than his young companion. "I've been partnered with my bud here for a few months now, and with all the digimon popping up around the city and causing havoc, we've been trying our best to keep them under control and prevent them from causing too much damage or panic. However, as hard as we work, its impossible to work very effectively. We can't be in two places at once, and fighting does a lot of strain on a digimon. Plus, lately much stronger digimon have been appearing and that is just going to make it tougher."

"So, I came up with the idea to gather up the willing tamers of the city and make a more organized effort to eliminate the digimon that pose a threat to our city and the people living here. If we all make a coordinated effort, we can create an effective defense and be able to bring down stronger digimon threats." Khrys explained, taking a huge breather after the long explanation. "So, what do you think? Would you be interested?"
