Shana felt Hanako's arms wrap around her from behind. She had thought that with Aruraumon gone, no one was in her room, but apparently Hanako had come back, and without permission at that. Through her tears, Shana chuckled a little. Hanako really was annoying, even now, but at the same time, she was a little sweet... in her own annoying goody-goody type of way.
"Uhhh... What did I say about knocking Hanako-chan?" Shana said as calmly, though the tears were still falling from her eyes. For the most part however, Shana would ignore what Hanako said, though she wouldn't fight it either. She knew Hanako wasn't that bad. Aruraumon, on the other hand, remained outside along with Lalamon and Palmon. She heard Palmon's rather optimistic question and wasn't entirely sure how to respond. Instead she just shook her head slightly. "I think Shana-chan's just having a hard time and.. needs some time to think about things herself. Before you, she didn't have any friends. Well, she had one, and he left her for good just a few days ago."[/blockquote]

"Whaaaat? I always thought she had lots of friends, she is the super cool Shana after all!"
Shana ... not a single friend .... how could that be possible? Somebody so pure and full of charisma like her was bound to have lots of friends. The palmon simply couldn't believe that behind all the smiles and cheerfulness Shana hid a terrible feeling of loneliness that caused her to be extremely defensive when it was about the few friends she still had.
"I ... I can't leave Shana-chan alone knowing that ... but also I can't replace that friend she lost ..."
Then she had an incredible idea, an idea so great that she wondered if she was a genius for this was the idea that governs on all the ideas, the queen of ideas, the idea that could change the universe itself FOREVER!
"Let's get back her old friend, that will make Shana smile and be happy forever!"
Well ... that wasn't really that great of an idea, but for a child digimon like palmon, it was the greatest idea of all the times.
"Lala-chan, aru-chan, let's team up and bring back Shana's very first friend, as the flower squadron!"
Said that and with her spirits high again, she was more than ready to hit the road and search for that one important friend that once Shana had, but once more, she realized that she was missing something important.
"Umm ... how does Shana's friend look, and what is his name?"

Hanako let a small smile pass on her features. Reaching her hand over to Shana's desk, she folded her hands into a fist and knocked gently. "Happy?" She asked, removing her hand from the table and letting it wrap around Shana once more. Meanwhile, Lala frowned. "His name is Marik...he saved Hana-chan's life once." She said sighing. "Marik was good for Shana, he was able to keep her under control...for a time." Floating down to Palmon, she did nod though. "I'll help -- for Hana-chan's sake." She said holding out her hand for Palmon.

Aruraumon stood alongside the other two Digimon. She wasn't sure about whether or not they should do this. Shana had told them to leave her alone, and she had a feeling Shana would actually get upset with them if they tried something like that, but at the same time, she wanted to help out as well. She wasn't exactly sure what she should say.
"I guess I don't see how it could hurt," Aruraumon said nervously.

"Yay, then let's find Marik-kun!"
Before the humans could discover about their plans, she decided to open the door leading to the street and to her surprise, it was locked, no matter how hard she tried, the door didn't budge at all.
"Oh noes, this door doesn't open, somebody locked it!"
Her plan for a stealth mission was ruined and now she had to ask either Hanako or Shana to open the door, but then the surprise factor when she came back with this Marik person was going to be ruined. Nevermind, as long she didn't say anything about why she wanted to go out and they still believed she was leaving for good everything was OK.
"I have an idea! Lala-chan, ask Hana-chan to open the door for us and invent an excuse to make her let you go with us. Meanwhile Aru-chan and I will be brainstorming about where this Marik could be hiding!"
It was a flawless plan, or at least one that wasn't absolutely doomed to failure. How hard could be to find a single human in a huge heavily populated city where thousands, and maybe even more lived? the odds were clearly in their favor XD

Lala shook her head. "They always keep a spare key nearby." She said floating over to a nearby dresser. Opening a drawer, she pulled out a key and proceeded to unlock the door. "We have to be quiet and quick about it. Hana-chan and Shana will notice us gone if we're not careful." She said as she opened the door and floated outside."We also have to be careful not to be seen." She said quietly.

(Due the lack of Marik and other reasons, it was decided that this thread is going nowhere and ends right here, so here's a silly attempt at finishing it as well as possible and continue my palmon's story in another thread. I simply couldn't leave this thread incomplete because her relationship with the sisters and their digimon is an important part of her character development
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Epilogue:
At the end, the three plant digimon wandered outside for an unspecified amount of time somehow avoiding the curious eyes of the human population in search for Marik to cheer up Shana. Alas, their quest proved to be futile and eventually they were forced to end it before it got too dark. The Palmon, thinking that Shana and Hanako needed some time alone to solve their problems, decide to separate from her digimon friends and learn to live alone in this jungle of concrete and metal. Maybe not tomorrow nor the day after tomorrow, but someday she was going to return with her friends after maturing a bit more and be ready to accept that friends were not always perfect and that accepting their flaws was the way to reach true friendship ....
[Exit thread.]
