Is that all you are going to do? Strikedramon thought boredly as the Starmon attempted to egg him on instead of going in for an attack. It was quite the obvious trap. Provoke him into attacking, then when he was close strike back. Odd choice for a digimon with no good close range attacks. He decided to indulge in the Starmon's desire to be attacked. He rushed forward again, this time surrounding himself in a red fire. However, the last second he jumped back to avoid whatever the Starmon had in store for him.

It seemed that the Strikedramon was buying into his taunt. That was all he needed, just for him to get close. While he may have been more suited for long distance attacks, that didn't make them any weaker at close range, which was what Starmon was counting on. Watching as the black skinned digimon rushed at him, the champion digimon held his ground as he then unleashed another star shaped beam towards the opposing digimon. Though as the Hypnotizer attack came flying at the digimon, it seemed to jump back just in time to avoid it completely.
Impossible.....
Starmon could feel himself giving in more and more to his temper. This digimon was too fast, and too dangerous for his own good. There were very little hope of victory, but that didn't mean he planned to just let himself die. He had the right to live the way he wanted.

His hunch had been correct, the Starmon was planning to strike. Such obvious ploys were wasted on him, and now the Starmon hung in the air, waiting to be hit. BlackStrikedramon took his chance to land an attack, lighting his fist aflame, and aiming a strike claw attack at the Starmon. He couldn't say he enjoy his given task. If he could speak he'd say something, apologize to the Starmon. If he wasn't tied to this cursed Hypnos organization, bound by their ever watching eyes, he would have let the Starmon go. Unfortunately he didn't have the liberty of making his own decisions. He wasn't willing to risk himself at this stage. He wasn't strong enough, and Khrys... He wasn't sure what they'd do to her.

The strike hit Starmon dead in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground in pain. His physical appearance was fading in and out of focus. How much more damage could he take before he would be gone? The Champion rose up slowly, holding it's chest as it keeled over slightly. Raising one hand towards the sky, he then shot a glance towards the Blk.Strikedramon, shouting what was likely to be his last attack. Perhaps a wasted effort, but he wouldn't allow himself to be destroyed without at least trying.
"Meteor Squall!!"
With that, small dots of red began to form within the sky. What came next would be a weatherman's nightmare, as a hail storm of flaming rocks began to fall from above in their attempt to collide into the dragon digimon. After summoning this aerial strike, the Starmon fell on one knee. He didn't have much left, feeling himself slowly collapsing internally.

Strikedramon had landed his hit, and it appeared that the Starmon had just about had it, his form becoming fuzzy as it neared its destruction. However, it did have enough strength left to fire off one last attack, and next thing Khrys and BlackStrikedramon knew, meteors were beginning to fall, raining rocks down from above. Khrys rapidly flipped through her cards for something, anything useful. Golden Shield! Perfect! "Digimodify, Golden Shield activate!" Khrys shouted, swiping the card.
Instantly Wargreymon's shield appeared on Strikedramon's arm, and he leaped back, holding the shield up to protect himself and Khrys as the meteors fell over them. Once the attack finally ended, Strikedramon once again rushed the Starmon, ready to end the fight. His claws raised and once again set aflame as he attacked with yet another Strike Claw attack.

Once the blazing claw connected into his side, the Starmon looked up towards the Blk.Strikedramon and chuckled as his body started to dissolve into nothing but data fragments. So his journey was over, a sad end to his life. But then, perhaps it was a worthy end. His eyes seemed to look directly into the other digimon as his laughter started to die down.
"Enjoy this world digimon......But you should know as well as I that whatever barrier you are attempting to keep our kind out....It will not last forever. So what will you do when you are faced with another innocent? Hmm? One that wishes freedom from the nightmares of our home world? Will you simply execute them? Allow them a swift death just for wishing freedom?.....Consider that young one.....Consider it....well..."
With that, the Starmon turned into data. There it floated, awaiting absorption or the freedom to fly away....

Strikedramon remained as silent as always, staring in disgust at the Starmon's ignorance. Don't preach about digimon wanting freedom to a prisoner. A part of him wished to throw those words at the dying Starmon. To set the digimon straight. He however, had nothing to prove of this digimon and he wasn't going to throw away his bid of silence for the sake of pride. Instead he simply glared at the shards of data as they flew away and disappeared. The Starmon knew nothing of his situation.
With it's inhabitant gone, the digital field dissappeared. Strikedramon walked up to the cloak he had discarded, and picked it up. Now he had digivolved, he was several sizes way to big for it now. It was broad daylight. "Err... Can't you go back to being BlackMonodramon?" She asked. They said he'd eventually digivolve further, but he digivolved with a card, and the card was supposed to wear off after a while. Surely it wasn't going to stick? She thought.
Strikedramon shook his head. If there was a way for him to make himself dedigivolve, he didn't know it. He then heard voices and footsteps going, and he instantly retreated, hiding in the bushes, leaving Khrys standing alone. Khrys side and simply pretended to be standing there chatting on her cellphone as a few people went by. Once the area was clear again, she walked over to where Strikedramon was hiding. "Well, if you can't change back, I guess you are going to have to hide out here until nightfall. Get home as soon as you safely can, okay?" Khrys instructed. Strikedramon simply nodded. Khrys meanwhile, had a stop at the fabric store to make. Looks like she had a big project making Strikedramon a new cloak.
