Ah, what a lovely day it is today! No, rains, fogs, storms, or other weather anomalies that became so frequent over Tokyo. No stupid reports, incompetent co-workers, creepy scientists, threatening bosses, evil spawns, annoying missions, no nothing! Larry finally got a day off. F*ck all that was mentioned above, his sister was here, and he'd rather spend some time with her. Even though there wasn't an ocean between them, he still saw her rather seldom, due to his *sigh* job.
- What a nice day... After a week of foggy foggyness and all that, finally some sun. I was starting to feel we're back in England because of it... - Larry sighed out, looking around. Today many people had a day-off, some families were with children around, they ran around, playing, and were very happy. He then looked at the girl in the wheelchair that he pushed forward, and his heart clenched. She couldn't run around like that. The thought was depressing.
- Look how many children here! for you to make friends with maybe? - Larry asked, sounding cheerful as ever, even if that cheerfulness was a bit forced from acknowledgement of his only sister's ineptitude...

Susan sighed as she felt her brother pushing her around she had spoken very little sense she had left the hospital. She was glad to spend time with her brother as she rarely saw him anymore. When she had come to the area she had hoped that he would be with her most days but he had been busy with his job which she understood. It was what had to be done because it paid for her medical bills and allowed her to be here. The fact was that even now Larry was better company then their parents. Opening her eyes she smiled at him gently showing some happiness she was glad to be with him having missed him. Then her eyes fell on the people around who were out and about and having fun. After a few moments she frowned and stared at the ground.
“perhaps” was all she said about friends at the moment. Her voice showing no emotion at that moment.
She had used people for as long as she could remember and why not really they were normal while she was…stuck in this chair. She had a disdain for them and it showed briefly in her eyes as she took a breath and settled in a different position in the chair to get more comfortable in the chair as she sighed. It was the main reason that she used them when it came down to it as she smiled at a little kid who ran by longing for the chance to be able to do that and not end up hurt like she usually did. Pausing she looked up at her big brother who was one of the kindest people that she knew at times when they were together and slowly raised her hand placing it on his she ran her fingers slowly along his skin before lowering her hand again and smiled softly.
“thank you big brother for spending the day with me I know you have been busy” she admitted her voice soft again.
In her lap she held her cards something that she kept with her at all times having picked up some digimon cards not to long before. She paused as she ran her fingers along the cards and smiled slightly. Cards had become one of her favorite things over the years perhaps one of the few things she would not get hurt doing it because of her weak body. Closing her eyes she took a breath and decided to speak with her brother.
“brother how much longer do you think it will take till I will be able to walk like all of these other kids?” she asked him quietly. She knew he would lie and was ready for it but it would give her some hope in the end.

Kazu was in the park doing the one thing that he usually did when he was in the park, which was look for people. By people, he meant Digimon to fight, but Kazu had to be cautious about doing this as Hagurumon was currently hiding above Guilmon's house. He could be next to him in a matter of moments, which could be cut in half if Kazu drew any wild Digimon toward Hagurumon. No one could say that he was someone who forgot to plan things out. He was still waiting for the day that his dad passed out because Kazu had suddenly grown a brain.
With his eyes scanning the area, Kazu began looking for signs of trouble while whistling the tune of a song that his mother used to sing to him back when he didn't know what good singing was. He didn't actually know any of the human residents of the park this day, but he was sure that they were all friendly in nature as it was a place that children play on a regular basis. If there were some villains around, then Kazu was going to give them a good kick in the pants as Terriermon would say in these situations.
"Oh where? Oh where has the fun days gone? Oh where? Oh where can they be? Oh someone bring back the fun. Bring back the fun to me." He had crossed the line of boredom, which reverted him to the point of singing randomly modified songs that had no deeper meaning. Kazu was a strange character to say the least.

- Soon, Susan... Soon. When the therapy is finished, doctors say you'll be able to walk on your own... - Larry replied gently, although he made an unnoticeable pause before saying the word "walk". It was true what he said about the therapy, she would be able to walk indeed, but ... the whole procedure would take half of a year, and after that she would be able to walk only like a person who suffered poliomyelitis - her feet would still be too weak. Next stage ... would take another half of a year, but will be twice as costly. And Larry was already saving money for that one. After all, if these worthless green papers people call money could put his sister back on her feet again, he would do anything, anything at all. Hence why he worked for Hypnos. Under other circumstances, he would have never accepted their offer.
- And do not worry, whenever I have free time, I'll come and spend it with you... - he said kindly, pushing the wheelchair forward, down a trail in the park. He noticed how Susan reacted to the sight of healthy children, and figured it was not a very good idea to bring them around. The children reacted ... in the same way as the wheelchair passed by, they stopped running and playing around, silencing, and just watched the pair as they went further and further. Larry decided to guide the chair into less populated area of the park, and it was then when he passed by some kid, who was singing something incoherent. Were he on duty, he would have immediately recognized the guy, because he read the dossier. But now he was off-duty, so f*ck off dossiers and other things. His sister was all that mattered.
- Hmm, well, what do you know... - Larry nodded, spotting that the kid had a deck strapped to his belt. If there was anything that could cheer Susan up, it was a good card game - the girl was fascinated with that hobby. - Maybe this one would like to play with you, Susan, if you ask nicely?

Soon she thought as she nodded knowing that he had lied in some way or another but did not call him out on it she stroked her hand softly and sighed. She ignored the kids who stared having become used to it over the years as she hummed a song quietly. She was glad when she noticed that they were going somewhere else and the people seemed to thin. Biting her lip she tilted her head to the side for a moment and stared ahead her face unreadable. Emotions were easy to hide anymore easier to not show when things hurt you and you just wanted to lay down and be left alone. Even though that was not the case right now she noticed the weather was becoming colder and gently pulled her jacket around her a bit more but was comfortable with things. She nodded about the weather it had been gloomy lately and the change was not a bad thing to her at least she could see when he had gotten out today. She had been looking forward to it ever since she had heard Larry was getting off for a day or so.
“just don’t take so long next time on coming by” she said as a small smile crossed her face. Just as quickly as it had come though it vanished as she watched the people around her even though they were few and far between now.
Some one not to far away singing caught her attention and her eyes snapped open as she looked around and spotted him. As she listened to his song she rested her hand to her mouth and let out a small giggle. It was the first time that she had showed that much emotion since she had gotten there. Lowering her hand she had a smile on her face. It was not the one that had become somewhat plastered but she had a true one on her face as she stared at him for a few moments. She was deciding weather to move forward when she paused and noticed the cards on his hips a deck she realized already going through the card games that she knew. She paused and thought things over people were never her specialty only Larry and in small doses her parents would see her as she could be. The illness had made her inept when it came to being around most.
“it cannot hurt it would be fun to play someone who does not let me win on purpose” she said as she looked at him the smile had never left her face from when she had seen Kazu.
She paused as she thought of how to do this he seemed bored which was always a good thing. She glanced at him her hands resting in her lap again as she watched him for a few moments not saying anything. She shook her head realizing what did she have to be scared of? Her big brother was there and he would make sure nothing bad happened to her. That and the worst that could happen really was that he was just a jerk and would blow her off anyway. She took a breath and calmed herself before she spoke her eyes falling on Kazu and not leaving the teenager as she smiled slightly.
“excuse me sir would you like to play some card games?” she asked him her voice sweet and sounding a bit to innocent for her liking but it would do the trick or at least she hoped. She knew most of the card games that were out there and would be able to handle most unless this was something that she had not come across in the past. Japan always had newer games before most of the world anyway maybe she would learn something new today.

Kazu’s song had not gone unnoticed as he heard giggling coming from a girl that was with some guy that looked like he could use one of those makeovers that the American television shows were about. It was a good thing that no one could read his mind, or else Kazu might get in trouble for the image that he was seeing of the guy in one of those preppy outfits. At least he had made a girl laugh with his crazy style of singing and/or song writing. He closed his eyes again and kept up with the lines for the tune, but eventually it just turned into him whistling as his brain got tired of
making random lyrics. The sound of someone being called sir brought him back to the land of those with actual lives as his eyes popped open to who was dignified enough to be called a sir but still lowly enough to be in a park meant for kids. He sat up and looked around to find that he girl who had laughed at his song earlier was staring at him.
Wait a minute! Did she call me sir? Now that is a strange thought. This mental image of him appearing as a sir was something that Kazu would have laughed at any other time, but if he did so now than it might appear that he was laughing at her. Kazu didn’t want this idea to be put across to the young girl with the weird looking associate. He was usually up for a fight on any other given day even if it was an accidental one, but that was usually involving a wild Digimon and his partner being there to back him up. “When you say sir, are you addressing me?”Kazu was pointing at himself with this feeling that he was making a fool of himself, but he had to be sure before he would venture any farther into the conversation. It would have been twice as embarrassing for him to answer the girl and find out that he was mistaken. What had been her question anyway? This is the same thought that came into his head every time a teacher asked him something in class. Kazu really needed to work on his observational skills. (sorry for the delay on this. Been real busy. Will try to keep up with this if you two still want to continue.)[/blockquote]
