ok, so I know I haven't posted yet, and I really have been meaning to, but it might be a while. this has not been a good week for members of my family. my sister's boyfriend lost his brother earlier this week, and my cousin's house burned down yesterday morning. They lost everything, including one of their dogs. right now they're staying at another relative's house, and we're trying to get a hold of them to see what they need.
On top of that I will be going to Sugoicon next weekend, so I have no idea how active I will be for the next week.

thanks. I already got together a lot of clothes I don't wear anymore for the boys, and we're about to go hit up the thrift store to get some pants since that's the only thing I don't have in their size >.< my cousin just has the worst luck. last year her heat went out so we lent them most of our comforters since it was in the middle of winter, and those were all still there.
anywho, i better go so we can get stuff done

i can't be happier that i'm at a convention this weekend >.< on top of all that, my mom totaled her car last night, and i locked my keys in my car. I'll make sure to take lots of pics, and I'll most likely be on later in the evenings as the events start to die down.

soooo,as I said in the last post, I ended up locking my keys in my car last thursday after work, and when I called my mom to bring me my spare, she said she had totaled her car >.< just when I though it couldn't get any worse right? THEN we drive down to the convention, and my roommate snores all night. I ended up taking my sleeping bag, pillow and blanket into the bathroom so that i would be behind a closed door. only problem was that the bathroom was right next to the front door and the hallway (which is always noisy at cons). 3 AM comes around and my roommate has to use the bathroom, so i drag myself out and go lay down in my bed and try to get to sleep before he's done. I manage it, but wake up 3 hours later to more snores and go back into the bathroom. Just as I'm drifting off again, he wakes me up just to say that he's not going back to bed and that I can go lay down. So grouchy little me drags myself over to the bed and not 10 minutes later he's cussing up a storm and grabbing the telephone. It turns out that the people in the room above us flooded their bathroom, and if he hadn't gotten me up when he did, I would have been soaked with raw sewage - but I wasn't. So maintenance comes down, pushes on one of the ceiling tiles and he just hears it sloshing so he says "I'm getting you a new room" pretty much end of story right? Nope. Not only did we get a new room, but got comp'd for that first night, and the new room was a bit better than the first.
yeah . . . at least it seems my luck's turned around XD
